I asked them to take pictures since the work was done in the attic, and I didn't go up there (see attached pics). We had not had them cleaned in about 4 years, and they needed it! We have two small Boston Terriers and a fenced in yard. Last spring every time they came in from…read morethe yard they had a tick or more on them. We didn't want to use harsh chemicals in the yard so we contacted Betsy from Mosquito Joe's. She was very informative and helpful to our needs. She had a technician come out a few days later and spray the yard. We noticed a considerable drop in the amount of ticks on our dogs. After the second treatment 3 weeks later the dogs never came back with a single tick. This year is the same thing. No ticks. They give us a few days notice as to when they are coming then a text when we're the next stop so we can get the dogs in and close the windows. When they're done the leave a little goody bag of bones one for each dog. I can't recommend them enough. They are a better option for us than giving our dogs tick pills or chemical collars or drops on their fur. If you have ticks you can't go wrong calling Betsy. As for mosquitoes we never had a problem with them. Also we have an acre of yard so that's no small feat to keep tick free. The price is less than half what I expected to pay.

Until this year, we had nothing but positive things to say. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was completely unacceptable and has left us extremely disappointed. When we called to order mulch, we were told the credit card machine was down, so we couldn't pay over the phone. We were informed that paying the driver upon delivery was an option. We were also told the mulch would be delivered the following afternoon and that the driver would call before arriving. I stayed home all day waiting for the delivery. At 4:20 p.m., I had to leave briefly to pick up my child from daycare for a 4:30 pickup. Shortly after, I received a call from Nelson Landscape stating the mulch had already been delivered. The employee who called was rude, disrespectful, and immediately demanded payment. They insisted I had been told delivery would occur between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m., which was never communicated to me. Had I been given that information, I would have made other arrangements. When I asked if I could provide my credit card over the phone, I was told no one was in the office to take payment. I then asked if I could simply call back the next day to pay by credit card. Instead of receiving a reasonable response, the employee said, "Whatever, I don't have time to deal with this," and hung up on me. After years of being a consistent, reliable customer, this level of customer service was shocking. The interaction was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. We understand that mistakes and miscommunications happen, but there is never an excuse for treating loyal customers this way. Given the way I was spoken to and the complete lack of professionalism shown during this interaction, we can no longer support this company. It's incredibly disappointing that after years of loyalty, one employee's disrespectful behavior has completely changed our opinion of a business we once trusted and happily recommended.

He communicated with us throughout the project of installing a new Timberteck deck. His crew worked straight on through from start to finish without empty lapses of time. The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
