Another five star review for Bay State wildlife. I totally freaked out when a bat got into my house. I was very fortunate that my town's animal control service came out within an hour to remove it. They suggested I contact Baystate wildlife to conduct a thorough inspection of my house to see if we could identify where the bat might have gotten in and whether or not there anymore in the house. Would not Recommend. Called to have 3 racoons removed from our chimney, quoted a total of 675$ for the full job by Dale. Crew showed up 8 hours late looking to remove a squirrel. They eventually got the job done after 2 days and complete all the work. We receive two bills from Baystate a week later, one bill for one day the crew was here for 675$, then a second bill for the second day the crew was here for 1050$. Called Dale. He says the first bill for 675$ is a mistake, He says the 675$ is the initial charge and the additional 375$ is for a 2 year warranty, which he mentioned in the initial call, but not for an additional cost. Saw some other reviews mentioning surprise additional costs showing up like this. Be sure to call and dispute and undisclosed additional charges you did not agree to. The team came back couple of days later to install wire mesh that prevents animals from returning. Are they a scam? This company advertises heavily on search engines under MULTIPLE websites (Narragansett Wildlife Removal, Rhode Island Wildlife Removal, Professional Wildlife Removal, aaanimalcontrol) all of which state they service Rhode Island and have you call into a call center. The call center confirms the same service area as the websites and takes your info down to get you 'a quote'. All these go to Baystate Wildlife Management who then text back they don't service Rhode Island and they have no control over it. Are you kidding? Do not use a company with such duplicitous marketing techniques, or they are just that incompetetant. read more

Love these guys. We have used them a few times over the years for rodent and bat exclusions. I contact Dale; he responds almost immediately with a text. They come pretty much the next day and spend a few hours closing up the roof gaps and all foundation entry points. Excellent! 8 pm Saturday night I caught a mouse next to my kitchen sink but it was still alive. Before I could get to it the mouse went under the sink dragging the trap along with it. The space under the sink is only 4 inches high and goes back at least 3 to 4 feet. Because of my age I am no longer able to access that area. I called Baystate on Sunday morning after my current pest control company failed to call back. Alex called me back within 2 hours and listened very patiently while I explained my problem. His son Travis was here within the hour. He spent a significant amount of time face down on the floor under the sink retrieving the trap and making sure that there was no body left to stink up my kitchen. He then did a quick inspection of the basement and outside the kitchen and made some suggestions for stopping access. He was polite, courteous and very thorough. Had a squirrel intrusion at the end of 2021, was referred to Baystate by another pest control company that doesn't manage squirrels and didn't regret it one bit. Price was reasonable, at the low end of the quoted range and the initial one way trap plus survey fixed the squirrels in the house. 6 months later the squirrels found another way back in and within a day of me contacting Dale at Baystate they had a crew out to install another one-way door, all covered under the 2 year warranty, which seems to have resulted in a couple of unhappy squirrels and much happier kids. read more

Thieves. They came by for a scheduled appointment to do work that we had agreed to, and while they were here, suggested additional work, but said they couldn't get to it that day. I agreed to the work, and asked that they put me on the schedule for the additional work. They ended up charging me for both the work they did and the work they didn't do. When I asked that they refund me for the work they didn't do, they refused and I ended up having to file a dispute with my credit card company. My credit card company ruled in my favor, and I was refunded the money for the work they didn't do. Three months later, they charged my card again for the work they didn't do, claiming that they had done it. My credit card company is trying to sort it out, but at this point I think I'm going to have to hire an attorney, because Baystate is lying that they did the work and the credit card company needs them to attest that they didn't do the work. If I could give Baystate zero stars, that's what they deserve. read more
