Once we made our decision to go with a Carrier model, we were able to arrange installation to suit our schedule. Tristin and Rory worked hard during the removal and installation and they made great efforts to protect our floors/walls and to clean up the work area upon completion. Most significantly, they obviously took pride in their workmanship as the reconfigured plenums, piping and tubing were very neatly done/routed and secured. This was a stark contrast to sloppy/lazy work completed by the installers for previous furnaces. In short, you should contact RT Air Comfort for a quote if you're looking for HVAC services. They said that there would be 250 dollars for diagnostics and I agreed. They came and concluded that the pressure from the pump was not sufficient and it needed to be changed.I agreed and paid 1146 dollars fo the pump. But the problem was not fixed.I calked them again. They came again and spent much time waiting on the phone for Navien to support them. Then they said there was a problem with the ignition module and replaced it and-still no solution .Then they visited again, and this time, they told me that venturi needed to be changed and billed me 9 hours of work at 125 dollars per hour.But my unit is still not working. I asked to cancel the invoice because I have no control over the number of hours, and also,although I had to pay for several parts and labour, the unit is not working.I have been waiting to hear about the cancellation of the invoice, but there has been no response yet.I don't recommend these people .Tehy can not solve the problem, but still,they bill you for many hours. For example, a few years ago I had a furnace manifold that got stuck. They offered to replace it but only replaced the upper part and not the lower gas line even though it was rusted. I later found out that the price I was charged should have included the replacement of the lower gas line. This season I had them do fall maintenance on my furnace and the technician lowered the temperature on my water-heater without asking. But this caused the pilot to go out. When I complained they just shrugged. I will most likely use a different company going forward.

So 5 years ago I had this company install my ductless a/c for a reasonable price. At the point of…read morepurchase I was told 1 year labour warranty and 7 year parts. My fan blower went on the unit and the company charged 135 dollars just to arrive at my door and then billed me 99 an hour to diagnose the issue. Then they had to order the part and came back a week later with the wrong part spent 3 hours figuring that out. Then came back a week after that without notifying me they were swinging by with the right part installed the part and after the part was installed told me it wasn't under warranty and charged me close to $300 for the part and then another 1.5 hours of labour costing me close to $750 in total for a part that should of been under warranty and I should of been charged half of this for the labour. Will not be using them again. Terrible customer experience. Workmanship is fine but lied about warranty, should of been told that on initial visit before part was ordered. Should give customers 24 hrs notice upon arrive. Shouldn't cost $150 or so to just arrive at the door especially when after that you charge $100 an hour.
