We are very happy with the hardscaping work Juan and his team did for us recently! I literally look out into our backyard every day and am thrilled with the results. We were in desperate need of better grading, drainage, and mud management with our two dogs. The biggest issue was that our grass had stopped growing, despite our best efforts. The lack of sun/increased shade throughout the year, the rain of course, and eight paws running through the yard left our backyard a large mudpit. And because the grass stopped growing, the ground had hardened, forcing even more water to run towards our house, flooding our garage. Juan was amazing - he listened to all of our needs and recommended pavers and artificial grass along with fixing the grading and drainage. His team was incredibly punctual and professional - and thoughtful! For example, ensuring our temporary fencing was replaced each night to keep the dogs in and helping us move our trash cans on trash day. Above and beyond. I had interviewed two other companies - one would only give me a quote for design work (and in the quote literally reiterated the requirements I had given them - no indication of what the solution might be) and the other quote seemed high and was hard to envision. We really loved working with Juan - he is very professional and down-to-earth. You can tell he really cares about each project. With Creekscape, there were no design fees which I greatly appreciated. When the project was complete, I could envision the family gatherings we will have here now. And after several weeks of rain, I can happily report I haven't had to clean one muddy paw! And there is no sign of water in our garage. Grateful for the Creekscape team. Definitely would recommend! read more

To start, the steel edging job they did was fine. The communication, however, was unacceptable. I had Carlos come out to evaluate the job. He was very friendly and made me feel confident that I could have the outcome I wanted, steel edging around a cactus garden in the front yard and steel around a garden and banana trees in the back. In the front yard I had a downspout that was buried under some river rock so you couldn't see it but the downspout itself needed to be cut a little higher so it drained better. I needed a low profile drain around my plants and stones and I was told that wouldn't be a problem to fix. Carlos was prompt in giving an estimate, which I agreed to. I didn't hear back for a while and was given little notice, maybe a day, before they scheduled to come out. Unfortunately it was a day that I had to work so I couldn't answer questions nor give immediate feedback. I found they had put the edging around my cactus garden but oddly included one of my blueberry bushes which I did NOT want. Further, they never shortened the downspout and added a round bulky drain that was in fact, MUCH worse than what I had previously had done. I emailed with Carlos and said I was dissatisfied immensely with the drain situation and the border including my blueberry bush. He stated the employees must have misunderstood and that they would come back on Jan 8th to fix things. Jan 8th came and went and I heard nothing. I did, however, start receiving bills for the remainder of my charges. I responded that I want to pay the balance but was told people would be out to fix my concerns. Later in the month due to the ice storm, I had covered my entire cactus garden with frost cloth. I was still waiting to hear back from Carlos. I received a text that said the employees "came out on Monday" to fix the work. I didn't even see it, because again, my whole garden was covered. Apparently they had come out, with no notice whatsoever, and cut and replaced the steel at the end of the garden so it no longer included my blueberry. Zero was done with the drain so I asked for a decrease in my bill, as I had been charged over $400 for the drain to be fixed and instead got a plastic tube replaced that probably cost $20. I was told they couldn't decrease a bill because the "work" had already been done. Very disappointing and would not recommend. read more

Creekscape designed a beautiful new landscape for the inner courtyard of our commercial office building. Their scope of work included: custom corten steel planters and the design & installation of a new patio area with unique plant material. We greatly enjoyed working with Juan and his team. They were wonderful to work with and listened to our needs & concerns. Juan did an outstanding job of communicating with us throughout the process. During the duration of the project they kept their work area clean and were respectful to the businesses surrounding the courtyard. We received many positive comments from our tenants regarding the beautiful new landscaping and as a result of the success of the project, we will continue to work with Creekscape Design in the future. read more

We had them install a retaining wall, a patio and cut back our bamboo. It was a ton of work and they finished it rapidly and with clear pride in their work. (seriously, our hedges have never looked better) Their quotes were the mid-point but they produced high tier work. We will be using them again for any yard work, and would recommend! read more

Hired Juan and his company to replace our front lawn, solve long-standing drainage problems in our front and back yards, and install gravel pathways on both sides of our house. I want to say upfront that Juan's team of guys were very hardworking and punctual, spoke good English, and overall did a good job with high-quality work and materials - save for two things which has necessitated this decidedly average review. One star comes off because the workers cut our cable line, knocking out our TV and internet service and necessitating and emergency call to Comcast to fix. While they apologized and it wasn't intentional, still you'd think they would have thought to check on buried lines before they dug up anything. Another star comes off because after Comcast fixed things, they had to dig up the freshly-installed pathway one side of the house. Juan said he would have it fixed - that was 3 months ago. Follow-through and careful work are important. Should the promised fix of the pathway happen at some point, I'll consider adding a star back in but not before. Would we hire them again? Most likely yes, but with caution and ensuring they will follow-up as promised. read more

Juan stated the company would provide a 1 year warranty for all planted shrubs with the purchase and use of a drip system. I contacted Juan about replacing one of the shrubs and he responded several days later that he would not honor the warranty despite the drip system being used and the rest of the shrubs being healthy. read more

Creekscape built us a patio with flagstone this past spring. They were priced right in the middle and did great quality work. The sand between the flagstone has been cracking and they have come back twice to fix it after I have asked. I would recommend them to other people. read more

We were especially impressed with how we gave him a few inspiration images and he gave us excellent design feedback and even detailed CAD sketches; helping us to achieve what we wanted within our budget limitations. His recommendations were excellent and he didn't flinch when we had unexpected issues come up within the job. Creekscape seriously puts customer satisfaction first and we were so happy with the work, the crew and the results.
