A heartfelt thank you to Creekside Animal Clinic. I can not express enough gratitude to the incredible team at Creekside animal clinic for the exceptional care they provided to our beloved pet Baine during such a difficult time. Our journey with Baine took an unexpected turn when we discovered, he had cancer and that it had spread throughout his body all in a single day. From the moment we walked in the door we were met with kindness, empathy, and a genuine concern for both Baine and our family. The staff at Creekside gave us the precious gift of time: time to understand, time to grieve, time to love, and most importantly, time to say our final goodbyes . The compassion and Support we received from the entire team was beyond measure. They patiently explained every detail of Baines's condition, helping us navigate through the overwhelming emotions that come with such devastating news, their expertise and willingness to answer our questions, provided us with sense of comfort and reassurance. As the day progressed, the staff at Creekside continued to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to both Baines well-being and our families, emotional well-being. Their attentiveness coupled with their genuine affection for animals truly set them apart. They allowed us time to take our Baine home to our kids to say our last goodbyes and bring him back to the clinic just a few hours later. When the time came to say our final goodbyes, they handled the process with the upmost dignity and respect, ensuring that Baines transition was as peaceful and painless as possible. They gave him his last two treats of Hershey kisses as we held him in our arms and allowed him to go to sleep. In the mitts of our grief, Creekside animal clinic provided us with a sanctuary of support and compassion, their dedication to provide outstanding care was a testament to their commitment to the well-being of every animal, and the families who love them. I cannot thank the team at Creekside enough for their exceptional care and the profound impact they have had on our family. Their kindness and compassion will forever be etched in our hearts. They are true heroes for both animals and their families and I wholeheartedly recommend Creekside animal clinic to anyone in need of compassionate, veterinary care .

Today was my first visit & I am ecstatic to FINALLY find a vet who didn't claim to have a knowledge…read moreof reptiles but actually did! Dr. Riggs was incredibly nice & so was the staff. They took the time to listen to my concerns and discussed every option (both cheap & expensive) for my tortoises care. Unlike past visits (stow/kent & memorial) to treat the parasites Paul has, none of the other vets ever gave us medication or suggested a change in diet. But Dr. Riggs clearly provided me with a few food choices that the internet & previous vets informed me were not options. As well as medication to treat the parasites. He even went over Paul's xrays with me & explained the image in a way that anyone could comprehend. The facility itself was very clean and I noticed a lot of sighs promoting saving the environment & some eco friendly products around the office :) Dr. Riggs is/or was on the state committee to fight against animal abuse in circuses- this guy deserves a medal in my book. Can't say enough about the awesomeness of the staff and the quality care my pet received!

My wife and I have been to Vetco Total Care numerous times. My mother-in-law brings her two dogs…read morehere. Sometimes we are able to wait and so we make an appointment. A couple of times I showed up with one of our cats at 8am with no appointment because I felt our cat needed to be seen right away and they always accommodate, which is just stellar service. The vets have been very competent and knowledgeable, and they do their best to work with our budget and to provide us with the most factual information regarding our cats as they can. I recently brought in one of our cats who was jaundiced and this was after having brought him to Petvet 10 days earlier and to the vet we used to go to. That visit was about 3 or 4 days prior and nothing useful was gained there. So I went to Petco without an appointment at 8am and the vet was very patient. He examined our cat and wanted to do a blood test and imaging. I felt the blood test was only going to confirm that the liver was failing so I ok'ed the imaging, which only showed fluid in the belly because the liver wasn't keeping up. The vet said that our cat should be in a hospital and needed all sorts of tests, which we could not afford and which still might not tell us what was wrong or lead to saving his life. The vet suggested Euthanasia but I said no, I wanted to take him home and give him a day or so to snap back. The vet gave him an appetite stimulant and also some stuff to provide additional nutrition to help our cat snap back. Unfortunately he did not snap back and the next night, our cat passed away with my wife and me by his side -- a precious boy not even 11 years old gone for reasons we will never know. It's so damn unfair, but we blame no one. It happens sometimes. You lose a pet and that is life. We lost our Aja, a calico, last year. We are heartbroken beyond belief but we appreciate Vetco's efforts and will be happy to go to them again. We'll just have to pray our other eight cats stay healthy. So far, so good. Thank you, VETCO.

Review for Dr. Tracy Stanek-Krutel (Petco Vet Services - Store #7035)…read more I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience during my visit with Dr. Tracy Stanek-Krutel. I brought my cat, Sasha, in because she has been excessively scratching her ears. When I arrived, I was told she would need to be taken to a separate room for the exam. This was not clearly stated on the website, and since it's just me and my cat at home, I was understandably concerned about how she might react being separated from me. I explained to the vet tech that Sasha might "flip out," and the tech relayed this to Dr. Stanek-Krutel. The veterinarian then came in and reassured me that everything would be fine. However, about 30 minutes later, Dr. Stanek-Krutel returned and told me she could not complete the visit. She stated that I had not explained what "flip out" could mean and spoke to me in a very rude, confrontational manner, repeatedly arguing back and forth instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally. The interaction made me extremely uncomfortable, and the tone felt dismissive and unkind. I left feeling unheard and disrespected. Additionally, since returning home, my cat has been acting very differently -- scared, hiding in corners, and meowing unusually -- which has only added to my concern about what may have occurred during the time she was taken away. The visit was never completed, no care was provided, and no clear follow-up or compassion was offered. I have never felt this way during previous Petco visits, but this experience was upsetting enough that I would not return or recommend this provider. If zero stars were an option, that is what I would give.

Well this is our fur baby and we paid it. 2 months later he needed a lipoma removal from under his arm which was causing lameness. OK. How much was this going to cost? I was told another $4,000.00 We paid it. I asked if there was any way to cut down on the cost because I am on medicare/SS and we just had to pay $5,000.00 for a surgery 2 months prior. I was told NO, our prices are set in stone from Columbus. ??????? WHAT? you CANNOT give a discount to someone after they were JUST there for a prior surgery?????? After the second surgery, the lameness was still there and the DOCTOR told me I would need an MRI to determine where to do an injection. ANOTHER 2,500.00. NOPE. My vet, whom I called before his follow up, said to ask for steroids and if the doctor would not give them to me, she would. He DID give them to me but said , and I quote, "This is like throwing sand at the problem". OK . RUDE. After the 3 week regimine, he is walking fine and never had a problem since. RIDICULOUS. We brought our 7 year old rescued leopard gecko for evaluation which went well and she provided care information and prescriptions for his recovery. The next day he broke his leg due to MBD (metabolic bone disease). We brought him back in and they set the leg. When we came back for radiographs he was about to shed. We asked what to do about his cast with him shedding and she told us not to do anything, they will take care of it the next time we come in to re-wrap is leg. Dr. Cooper-Bailey took it upon herself to allow her vet-techs to remove his shed while they had him in the back. Over the next couple days he showed distress, shiny sensitive areas on his skin, as well as a big stuck shed area under the wrapping for his leg. I called and asked if she shed our gecko and why. She claimed that "no one has complained before" and "we did it to treat the arm." However, the arm was not shed as it wasn't ready to shed. They also never mentioned to us that they shed him, we suspected it immediately and I called the next day to ask what happened. I do not recommend Kerri Cooper-Bailey MS, DVM in any capacity.
