They are knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and respectful. This week, they saved my cat's life. My cat came into them in critical condition and had to be put on oxygen immediately. He had been misdiagnosed by his regular vet as having congestive heart failure, was given lasix and sent home to die. The next day, we brought him to ER at metropolitan on instinct and the fact that they have always been so amazing. The vet listened to his heart and was able to correctly identify without a single test, that this was not a heart issue, had him stabilized for testing and found the true source to be a treatable condition. Not only was she so knowledgeable , but she took the time to explain everything so that I understood what was happening with my pet, the diagnosis and how to help him. Had we not gone here and received a correct diagnosis, my sweet Curtis would have likely died within days taking the wrong medicine for the wrong condition. Thank you Dr Thielsen. He is back home and comfortable and happy and should live a long healthy life.

Last Monday, I brought my dog to this vet because she was very sick. I was told that she had a bleeding tumor, and that she would not have much longer to live. When I asked how much treatment would cost, it was far more than I was able to afford. I felt like I was failing my dog to an extent. But then Dr. Heritage said something that put my mind at ease. She basically said that i could have all the money in the world, and it wouldn't be enough to save my dog. Even with treatment, she could be right back in the same situation in a few months if the cancer spread. There were 3 criticals that came in just as we did, but I never felt like my dog was any less important. And the staff let us take our time saying goodbye. My wife even said that the assistant that came in to do the procedure teared up a bit. I felt like they truly cared about not only my dog, but myself, my wife and my mother-in-law, who were with me as well. And they cared about her well being as opposed to just making money. If I had one complaint, which keeps this from being a 5-star review, is that I feel like the room that we said goodbye in could have either been more isolated, more soundproof, or had something similar to "If this light is on, someone is saying goodbye to a family member. And to speak softly during this time", or similar. The hardest part was waiting for my dog to be brought in, and to hear someone in one of the other rooms be told (rather loudly) that their pet was going to be fine, when I knew I wasn't going to be going home with mine. But overall I was content knowing that we went to this vet. I would recommend them to anyone that needed an emergency vet (even if it is almost an hour away from home).

The Cat Company was very accommodating and provided great care to my cat during his stay. They provided regular updates as well. She was able to instantly bond with Zeus and leave an amazing first impression! She has been great at taking care of him for me while I go on week long trips for my work in Minneapolis and also visiting family out in California. She always sends photos to me and tells me updates everyday while I am out of town. In November, she mentioned to me that Zeus was drinking too much water and recommended I get him looked at by a vet. When I took Zeus in, the vet diagnosed him with feline diabetes. I would not have been able to get him diagnosed as quickly if it were not for Kelsey looking out for me and his best interests. Kelsey has been also to help with administering insulin for me while I am gone so he is able to be his happy and healthy self while I am gone. Since his diagnosis, she has been great at sending me updates on his water intake and any medical issues that arises. Kelsey is a honest, hard working woman with a passion for all animals. She is dedicated to ensuring all animals in her care are taken care of and loved while their owners are away. I would recommend her to any person in the area who needs someone to take care of their animals. Normally I get very anxious leaving Zeus while I travel.
