When I read Yelp reviews, I often find the first question I'm trying to answer is, "Will I be wasting my money by dining here?" The short concerning Creekside Bar & Grille is no, you will not. First, the name accurately reflects this establishment's purpose - bar first, grille second. Half of the seating is either at the bar or bistro tables with the remainder at traditional tables of four. Seating may be in short supply during peak hours as it was for us at 6 p.m. on Sat., 02.05.2022. Demand increased as others including multiple snowmobile riders arrived during our visit. A sign posted at the entrance also forewarned us servers were in short supply as they are everywhere else in the nation. We had no issues with our service. To the credit of the 3 servers we saw working the floor, they were hustling! I had a cup of stuffed pepper soup as an appetizer which was very good. Both my wife & I had 10 oz. sirloin steaks with fresh cut fries. Both of our steaks were very good & prepared as ordered. The fries were served in a large portion but were slightly overcooked. Everything, in my opinion, was reasonably priced. There is an outdoor deck that overlooks French Creek that I would love to try in summer. My wife & I occasionally travel through the area & have previously passed this restaurant. This was our first visit; we are not regulars. But our experience was favorable enough to suggest others give Creekside Bar & Grille an opportunity. ------------ Fellow Yelpers! We stopped here while driving through the area and had a sensational lunch! The potato skins app was basically a whole loaded baked potato & was delicious. The chicken sandwich was a "chefs kiss". 10/10 place to go! read more

This was our first visit. It might seem strange to give five stars over a meal that was highly disappointing. My wife and I ordered fish. As we got into it it was bad. My wife sent hers back ( a first in the 40 years we've been together). A little bit later the owner came out, apologized profusely and said he tried some himself. He ordered the fryer shut down and no more fish to be served. He was incredibly gracious and so was our server. We WILL DEFINITELY go back on the merits of their integrity and graciousness. read more

Don't ever go here if you are in a hurry. This place has a reputation for being slow slow slow. The wings are above average and the steak special on Wednesday night is excellent. Other than that, it's all frozen bar food. Had the fajitas recently and the steak was overdone, dry and completely unseasoned. Service is hit or miss. There have been excellent servers and bartenders and there have been some that range from completely clueless to downright nasty. I've been a regular for years and years and it seems like the management cares less and less about its customers all the time. read more

We really love the area in Waterford and Creekside is close by. Love the log cabin décor and laid back attitude. We love Carrie and Leigh Ann as waitresses! Service can be slow, kitchen is small and sometimes food is inconsistent....I would love to get in there and train the wait staff (besides the for mentioned they are great). Potential to be a real moneymaker if they do some tweaking. They offer craft beers on tap along with the usuals. read more

Worst bar I've ever been to. Asked for labatt mango and she brought a bud light lime because she said they were out of labatt mango, well then come back and I'll order something else I want! Twice she came back to me after I already ordered and asked what I'd like to eat, she was very ditsey. After I ate she took my plate away then shortly came back with a box and said "oh you must have ate all your food I guess" as if she forgot she took my plate. I stopped at a bar in downtown Cambridge Springs and the Lake Side bar just down the road. I left as soon as I walked in due to the cigarettes and the stink of the smoke. I pulled into the Creekside thinking it would be typical dump bar. Much to my surprise it was clean and inviting. The inside was a polished log cabin motif with plenty of room. The staff was as nice as I could have hoped and we stayed about 3 hours shooting pool and having fun. The food was spot on and tasted great. They were out of chicken wings, probably because they are very good, so i ordered boneless. They were superior in flavor and cooked exactly as one would expect. The fresh cut fries were excellent, burger had fresh fixings and cooked to order. I could not get over how many times I passed that place and didn't stop, just simply due to the area. I have a new found hangout and place to stop for a excellent meal when I come from playing golf or just out on the motorcycle. It looked like there is a big outside area next to French Creek with seating, but I didn't take advantage of checking it out. My kids are older, but I wouldn't hesitate bringing them in for lunch or a snack. Great food and an even better staff. I recommend Creekside to everybody. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because of the squeaky bar stools. They can get annoying. Overall some of the best food around. They have a great selection of beer and prices on par with similar places. I have noticed lately that the food quality has taken a dive. Last time we visited it took over an hour to get our drinks and food to our table. We had to get up and walk to the bar just to wait another 10 minutes to get served. You know what? I think I'll give them 3 stars, only because I can't select 2.5 star read more

I don't really consider this a "dive" bar. The food is your typical bar food, but it's good. Decent beer selection. It's a fairly big place, with several rooms. The vibe is friendly. It's a mixed crowd: rednecks at the bar, and families at the tables, until about 9pm when the college-age crowd takes over. The only bummer is that it can be very difficult to get a drink at the bar, even during non-peak hours. read more

We thought we had picked a good place for my daughters wedding. Boy was I wrong. It turns out that 11 months before the wedding, my daughter and her fiancé split up and we went to Jean Lutz for some kindness and to refund the $1500 deposit, since it was 11 months out. She said she would if she found another wedding or event that was as much or greater than the price that the wedding was going to bring in. My daughter and her then finance paid for the down payment. I realize its a clause in the contract, but my good friend John Cutillo said he gives the full amount back if its 9 months out or better and 50% if its 4 months out. I would not spend a penny at this place if thats the way they do business. You put your faith and trust in a vendor, then they screw you. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!! I will retract this post or apologize if they give some of the money back, but so far nothing. read more

Ordered a cheeseburger(with fried onions) and fries for lunch. Added a Pepsi. Total bill: $10.59. I just about **** my pants. I shared my dissatisfaction to no avail.
