My fave local spot. Great company. Great wings. A frequent stop when I travel back home.

I'm writing about the service at this spot. I went here as a tourist with my partner who loves…read morewings but the bartender has a real chip on her shoulder. When we ordered a bloody mary, she asked us what that was. When we ordered blue cheese dip, she asked us what we meant. When the order she put in came out wrong, she argued with me, saying we did not order correctly. When I tried to clarify, she doubled down and blamed us, and refused to problem solve. I don't know what her problem is, but I've had better service at a gas station. I walked out without an appetite. Who owns this spot? Whoever manages this place needs to teach proper service if they want out of towners to spend money here. Ambiance was also problematic. They were power washing the exterior which was noisy and water was splashing on me at the table inside. Also, the bloody mary I ordered does not look like the photo here. She poured the last bit out of a bottle and when it wasn't enough, instead of opening another mix, she added more ice. So service is not only rude but dishonest, subpar and disrespectful.

Room 33 has been one of our favorite Erie restaurants for many years. We love the whole vibe. The…read morefood and drinks are well made and thought out, the live music is always a nice touch to an evening out and the space is very well designed. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially when they have a band performing. My go-to dish is the short rib dish. The mashed potatoes are amazing and the short ribs are packed with flavor. On this particular visit, they were a bit skimpy on the au jus sauce (it's normally got a healthy laddle of pan sauce on the bowl) but that's okay. I did splurge for my birthday and get a slice of the peanut butter pie. It was super rich and exactly what peanut butter lovers want in a peanut butter pie.

We started with "the 33" and "Black Widow", but I swapped the tequila for mezcal and that was a good choice! The 33 was absolutely delicious...but they did run out of Penelope for the day. So, a second drink unfortunately didn't happen. We put our order in for food about 10 minutes after getting there. No joke, the food arrived almost an HOUR later. We had to ask the bartender what was up; there was no proactive alert as to when the food was arriving. That was off-putting. The food was very good. It's hard to get a pork chop right and they managed to achieve it. The sides were also delicious. My husband's steak was very good and the spicy crema that they put on top was a nice touch. The wait time for the food was unacceptable, honestly. Something should have been comped, but the bartender was too busy to notice. No water refill for close to 30-40 minutes either. We would return but definitely on a different day, when they maybe have more employees working in the kitchen. Or maybe just skip food altogether. *shrug*

Tried their omelet with hash brown, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I really like their crispy hash brown. Waitstaff is very nice and service was quick. The parking situation is quite tricky here, as they have a small parking lot right behind the restaurant, that would only fit about 5-6 cars. If you go during rush hours you might have to park on the street instead. Do not park in the lot on the right side of the building as there is a sign notifying that you will get towed

I'm actually not a huge breakfast eater, so I went with my standard 2 eggs, toast, and breakfast potatoes. I thought the bread was nice and fresh (though not exactly toasty), and the potatoes were for sure fresh cut, which was a really nice touch. I also had a garden salad, which was a pretty standard diner salad - romaine, some tomatoes, shredded cheese, and olives as a surprise addition. Decent size and price. The service was quick and so was our food. I thought it was a solid breakfast. Note - there is no parking, so we parked a block or so away and walked.
