My fave local spot. Great company. Great wings. A frequent stop when I travel back home.

You still have that redhead that bitches about being there the entire time she's there. Same old lazy night time Bartender that isn't happy unless you're as miserable as he is. You got a new woman "no lady" who's tweaked out and jumpy but can fetch a beer in less than 10 minutes. Looking in the kitchen I see sanitation hasn't changed. With all that something doesn't feel right anymore. I honestly didn't think new owners could care less or maybe just as inept as the old ones but with that I am impressed. Don't go patting yourselves on the back to fast. The recent influx of business is only due to the lack of options in that part of town. Those wing recipes aren't your own and have been made by mutants with fewer brain cells than morals. Everyone that's ever worked there has them and readily shared them. I got the dill dip recipe from a dip behind the bar last month. Hope you didn't sink your life savings into the place because any minute someone could throw up a liquor license and put you out of business with you helping them. Last week we sat there. No drinks. Made direct eye contact with the big guy, and nothing. That's fine. We got up and got our own. I hope the 3 people at the bar tip well because I won't. I also won't be back.

Tried their omelet with hash brown, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I really like their crispy hash brown. Waitstaff is very nice and service was quick. The parking situation is quite tricky here, as they have a small parking lot right behind the restaurant, that would only fit about 5-6 cars. If you go during rush hours you might have to park on the street instead. Do not park in the lot on the right side of the building as there is a sign notifying that you will get towed

I'm a sucker for diners (or dinors as it may be), and I enjoyed my meal at the Zodiac. They had a…read moredecent sized menu with a lot of selections, plus an additional 6-8 chalked up on the back wall as specials. I'm actually not a huge breakfast eater, so I went with my standard 2 eggs, toast, and breakfast potatoes. I thought the bread was nice and fresh (though not exactly toasty), and the potatoes were for sure fresh cut, which was a really nice touch. I also had a garden salad, which was a pretty standard diner salad - romaine, some tomatoes, shredded cheese, and olives as a surprise addition. Decent size and price. The service was quick and so was our food. I thought it was a solid breakfast. Note - there is no parking, so we parked a block or so away and walked.

The staff was friendly and engaging, chatty in the best way, attentive without hovering, so the whole meal felt relaxed and easy. I ordered the burger with bacon and American cheese, and it absolutely delivered: juicy, flavorful, and exactly the kind of comfort-food hit you're hoping for when you order a classic burger. Big bonus: it's a surprisingly great place for toddlers. Comfortable, family-friendly, and the kind of environment where you don't feel stressed bringing little ones along.

A bartender named Anastasia spent more time policing where girls were sitting and acting territorial over the boys, than actually doing her job professionally. My friends and I were ignored on multiple occasions while watching her happily serve everyone else around us, then tonight got told we "couldn't be" in a room with our own friends. We literally walked in for two seconds to say hi, not even intending to order drinks through her and got treated like we were committing a felony. The craziest part was watching a grown bartender run around talking about customers instead of actually bartending. If the energy spent gossiping and targeting certain people went into actual service, maybe this place would have something besides $2 drinks going for it. Never been somewhere that felt so unnecessarily immature, and uncomfortable. There are plenty of bars in Erie where the staff acts like adults. This just isn't one of them.
