While Kyleigh initially seemed sweet and friendly during my hair service which was a haircut, highlights and root contrast, I was very disappointed with how she handled the end result. My hair and root color looked nothing liked what we discussed nor like the two pictures I showed her beforehand. She even admitted she went lighter on the root color afterwards. When I told Kyleigh I wasn't happy with the color, she offered to redo my hair, which was the right thing to do, and I was initially ok with that. However, I after my appointment I had some unexpected health issues come up and had to go to the ER. Since it was difficult for me to come in at that time to redo my hair, I asked Kyleigh if I could just get my money back for the color since I was happy with the haircut. She said that wasn't her policy and stands by her work! Her response was very disappointing as I thought she would have been more understanding of my medical/health situation. Finally after going back and forth she offered me a $43 refund which was a complete insult after I had paid $168 for the color. Then after more back and forth, she said $100 was the most she could do. Now I'm left disputing the rest of the $68 with my credit card company. Then on top of that, she wanted to charge me $25 to cover the cost of the color she used on me! Not a good thing to say or do when your client is already upset. Overall, Kyleigh seemed to care more about keeping the money than making her client happy. This isn't a good customer policy in my book. Plus, it wasn't like she was walking away with nothing for her services. She was still getting paid for the haircut and kept the $20 tip. Regardless this whole process has been very frustrating and time consuming on many levels, and definitely wasn't worth it!

As anyone knows, changing hair stylists can be a horribly scary and regrettable endeavor... I love the idea of a new hair stylist, but in reality it can be downright frightening. Lauren could probably sense my nervousness/apprehension...but she totally made me feel at ease and right at home the moment I walked in. We talked for a good 10mins about my hair, all the while she's studying what my former hair stylist did, reassuring me my hair was in good shape. We decided on a game plan and she got to work on my long blonde hair (partial highlights and a trim was what i needed/wanted, and Lauren was on board.)
