We needed a place to stay in Packwood WA for a night and everything was sold out as it was Logger's Jubilee (weeeee...) Enter Creekside Loding (a small creek runs through the back of the property) a few miles west of downtown Packwood. The units have been there for years and have recently been lovingly remodeled by the 78 year old owner and his wife ("She tells me what to do and then I do it") I asked the owner what time check-in was and he replied "Whenever." We showed up before 11am and he happily gave us our key. And well behaved pets are welcome. The rooms are very spacious and have a microwave oven, a small refrigerator, coffee, cable with a huge 50" Visio TV, and Wi-Fi . There is also A/C which is a mini-split, NOT the typical window unit so it is incredibly quiet which is great for light sleepers. The Creekside is great roadside motel find! read more
