I was looking forward to our visit, since I used to go there as a kid. The location is great, but it is now it is just a very crowded trailer park with a number of what appeared to be full-timers. We stayed at #8 which is one of their rental trailers and I won't stay in that trailer again. It was filthy beyond belief! The carpets around the bed and behind the toilet looked like they've never been cleaned and haven't been vacuumed in a very long time. All around the toilet was disgusting and we found several pubic hairs and pubic hair on the lip of the tub. The tub basin was very soft under our feet and it felt like it could crack at anytime because it already had at some point because there was a cheap patch from a previous crack. There was caked on dirt around many of the light switches and the blinds behind the kitchen sink had caked on dust. When we used the sink a faint foul odor came up from the drain which tells me the grey water tank hasn't been treated in a very long time. The trailer is old (1990's from the looks of it) but if it were professionally cleaned and new blinds put it then it could be a great way to stay in the high sierras. If we ever stay here again it will be in one of their tent sites. Because of how filthy the rental trailer was I'm not going to risk trying their other rentals. As for the fishing, the creek is overran with vegetation which will snag your line and the pond has way to much moss and weeds growing in the bottom of it. This place needs a lot of renovation. It seems like the owner is just milking what they can out of the place. read more

Our trip here was great before we even left our driveway. The owner called us to let us know coming in late at night was not advisable. And boy was he right! I'm thankful he called and we were flexible enough with hours and whatnot. The park itself is the perfect glamping venue. Rustic enough to make you think you're camping but full hookups for the ease continuing life as we know it. Beautiful setting that is kept pristinely clean. Friendly and helpful staff and ownership. Closely proximate to a pond and a stream for fishing and to many other fishing lakes. Family oriented place that is blessedly quiet in the evening. Many thanks Nick and staff! Great location, unbeatable staff - friendly, accommodating, clearly hard-working as this is a popular place for families and those who love to fish in the creek and many nearby lakes. Nick will go out of his way to provide advice on the area, fishing and whatever else that may unexpectedly come up. The park WiFi was our saving grace when something broke on our Jeep and we had to arrange a 200 mile tow and dealership visit. Nick helped us salvage our trip after that in other ways as well. And you can't beat full RV hookups in the otherwise rather remote Eastern Sierras! No need to worry about fresh water draining and other tanks filling. And their bathrooms were always clean and in good shape. All-in-all, especially for the price, hard to beat Creekside RV for a base to explore all of the incredible scenery the Eastern Sierras has to offer. read more

Pricey for the condition of the trailers, and then you still have to pay for showers. Other campers were on top of us. A campfire was left smoking directly in front of the trailer I was in, and we had bad smoke all night. Trailer had no air conditioning. Dogs are constantly barking. Refrigerator was not left on in any of the trailers so are frozen foods unthawed, and our ice melted while they were cooling off. Bathrooms are clean, but no soap or towels to wash/dry your hands. We had a good time in spite of this, but will not go back again. read more

Absolutely loved this place! We got there the day they shut down all the forests and public campgrounds. When I heard they were closing everything I was super bummed because we just drove 7 hrs to get there. Thankfully because this is privately owned they remained open and we were able to stay for four days. You can't beat this location with several lakes nearby and there is a creek that runs right through it. They have all the convience store items you would need in the store and they don't charge an arm and a leg even though they could because the nearest store is in Bishop. We had full hook ups and everything ran smoothly. Good wifi service as well we were able to connect our TV and phones to it. Unfortunately we didn't get to fish as much as we wanted because the lakes were closed. Definitely make sure you have a good truck if you are pulling a trailer up there because it is quite the haul up the mountain. I can't wait to plan for my trip next year! read more

My husband and two girls ages 5 and 6 months rented one of the trailers they rent out. The owner, scrawny dude was very unprofessional. We bring to his attention on our check out, that next to the pull out couch bed it was FULL of mouspoop. I told him we didn't notice it till pulling the sheet off the bed because some poop was flung out as we took the sheet off. I told him how upset I was because that's where my daughter slept with her face inches from it for 3 nights. He looks at me and says "You're camping, what do you want me to tell you?" In my head I'm thinking wow he's so rude! I look at him and say "How about an apology! That is disgusting!" I asked: " Don't you clean them?! "He said" we do every day" I told him that was impossible because it was filthy with old food crumbs and a lot of poop! A LOT! So I'm so frustrated at how he's being a prick and giving me attitude with my baby in my arms. So I said "Are you going to give me some of my money back what are you going to do?" His response: "HELL NO!" Now, I kept my cool the whole time even with his attitude and I went off! I said "Excuse me! But you're trailer is fucking disgusting! My kids were breathing all that crap in at night! He tells me to bring my voice down... obviously that didn't happen. Everyone there could hear how nasty he keeps the place. Then he threatened to call the sherrif.. haha yea go ahead. I didn't do anything wrong so call them! It was check out so we left right after that. So there you have it. Scrawny asshole doesn't clean his trailers. If you like to camp with poop next to you book his trailers! Yes, I understand we're camping but we paid over $300 and this was not okay! Update 7/10 So scrawny dudes Dad , Called my mother in Law to apologize after he saw my review. Hmmm I believe he should have apologized to me. Anyone with a brain knows he called her so his business didn't take a hit from a bad review. She is afraid they won't be allowed to camp there again. He asked her to leave a good review. What can I say... A+++++ Creekside RV Park has been part of our family's summers for over 30 years. This past weekend we held a Family Reunion at the park. Our experience was just as it was the first time we came. Nick and crew were great, making sure we were well taken care of. It is great to see that the park has stayed in the family. The park is located in one of the most beautiful canyons within the Eastern Sierras. It is a quick drive to one of the many lakes or trailheads in the area. The park features Ron's Lake a great spot for teaching those learning to fish. Showers are warm, bathrooms are clean and the creek offers great fishing as well. This a great spot for families. Every evening during our stay we watched kids from different families join together and play around the park. This is a place where kids will make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. My experience at creek Rv Park was not same as other visitors. My friend rent a place here and I was just a mile a way and we were having a fun camp dinner at Rv park, we got some fish and we were cooking them and enjoying with other fellows. For our fire place we purchased some logs from the road not far a way and my friend who was renting at Rv brought some broken piece of tree of the road which was complete dry and ready to burn. While we were joining our dinner a guy walked to our place cursing and using dirt language and discriminating us since we're not speaking English. He was the owner son who manages the property and he was so unprofessional and mean. I had my son and husband with me and so my friend and his brother. My husband asked the guy watch his language since we had a kid with us plus we were not doing any thing wrong. Ron's son (the owner) kept cursing and attacking my husband and asking us to leave cause he thought we broke the trees and burning them. We showed him the place that we have no tools to do that and the trees are complete dry plus we had purchased logs but he kept cursing and tried to evict us by saying "you are different than us" My husband asked him to leave other wise we would call the sheriff then he left . He was complete drunk and high and it was so scary for us to stay there. It was not a fun place for us and my friend left the other too. I have heard Ron was a decent person but since his son is managing the booking and property, he is a not good person and seems very aggressive . He cursed the worst dirt word in front of my seven years old kid. read more

We just spent our first time there, a three day weekend. A beautiful location, clean, well kept, full hook ups, $50 a night. Plenty of campers were catching fish in the pond with live bait, but we love trolling Lake Crowley surrounded by beautiful mountains so drove there. Loved it. If you want to check calls you just need to get on the road for a bit. There is some wifi at store if you need to check in. We got this place after cancelling a reservation for Mammoth RV Park: the reviews about rude management/frozen water, sewer were too scary, and we wanted full hookups for our trailer. We really wish we had known that there are 2 entrances to Creekside, with the second one being easier to maneuver our trailer through. You will climb 4,000 feet in 15 miles so be patient if you are pulling a trailer. The park sits at about 8,000 feet. The manager and his son were both charming and helpful. Beautiful location. Creekside RV has been a tradition in our family since 1991. We always felt so welcomed by the owners who went out of their way to make us feel special. And that has continued as the new owner, the youngest son of the previous owners, has formally taken official reins of the site. We love listening to the creek, relaxing under the shade of trees, and fishing multiple holes that are readily accessible from our trailer site. Or going to South Lake, Sabrina Lake or even North Lake to see nature in all its glory. The quiet peacefulness at night, talking with friends and family around a warm campfire and gazing at the amazing array of stars is a tradition our family enjoys on an annual basis. We just love Creekside. We know you will to if you enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hiking, boating or even going across the street to Bishop Creek Lodge to have a delicious meal. TOTAL SCAM!!! I called Saturday Aug. 3rd, to book a site with a group of my friends per my friends request so I could get a spot. Never been there, I had questions about the park which the woman I spoke to was very condescending and RUDE! But because I wasn't camping with her, I let her rudeness go and booked my spot for Oct.10-13. She was very clear about their cancelation policy which was ANYTHING BEFORE 30 days from the day you arrive, THEY WILL KEEP MY $125.00 deposit. I had until Sept.10th to get my full deposit back. Today, Tuesday Aug. 6th, I called to cancel our reservation because this RV park is really for fishermen & kayaker's which my family is neither. I didn't want to drive 5 hours to do nothing, you can't ride bikes there either... and apparently you have to drive to the lake? This RV park really wasn't for my family, after talking more to another friend who has been there. I CANCEL "3 DAYS" LATER FROM MAKING MY RESERVATION.... and spoke to the RUDESS GUY EVER, NICK...... because they "ran my credit card for the deposit" they are NOW GOING TO KEEP $25.00!!!! Nick told me several times... "THEY ARE A BUSINESS", and because they get charged to run my credit card, he's now charging me $25.00 because I canceled! I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS!!!!! The lady on Saturday said I had up to 30 days before my reservation date to cancel for a full refund! Never one time said anything about keeping $25.00 off the top REGARDLESS!!! I was furious with Nicks RUDENESS & down right ARROGANCE! (Not my finest moment because I did cuss him out!) This place is a SCAM! SCAM...SCAM...SCAM... They are a pathic business that apparently NEEDS YOUR MONEY EVEN IF YOU STAY WITHIN THEIR CANCELATION POLICY OF 30 days before you arrive! I canceled 2 months in advance and they still want some of my money! If this would have been told to me, I would NOT HAVE BOOKED IT on Saturday! But even 30 days in advance was ridiculous, I figured I had enough time to gather more info. from my friends about this place. Going with a group, you want to make sure you get a spot. Being told I would get a FULL REFUND as long as I canceled within the 30 days before my arrival, I booked. WHAT A HUGE REGRET!!! This place with their RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE is absolutely a JOKE! Good ol Nick, even called my friend to try to smooth me over so I wouldn't write a bad review? Are you kidding me Nick, you didn't even know my friends correct name when you yelled at me to TAKE MY ISSUES UP WITH HIM about your "SURPRISE FEE", YES.... This place is about as off the beaten path as it gets without being in the middle of nowhere. It's not near anything but it's got some nice amenities that make it good for families who don't want to be completely off the grid. Ron, the owner, keeps the place tiptop and there's a nice bathroom and shower setup. Ron is incredible, and is usually found in the tiny general store that surprisingly has a lot to offer. Coffee, beer, food, etc. absolutely love this place and plan on going back every October to see the colors turn. read more

My family & I have been coming to Creekside for years and we just love it We usually go up every Labor Day weekend, but even though it's more crowded than other weekends, you still feel like you're isolated from the rest of the world. The little campground store has it's country charm, and they offer a variety of items you either forgot to bring on your trip (or are tempted to buy just because). The local pond is always stocked and there is plenty of great fishing in the creek or at one of the local lakes. If you can't live without a K-Mart or Von's and need to go to Bishop for anything, it's only a 10-15 minute drive down the mountain. Ron & Donna have owned Creekside for years, and it's one of our favorite family destinations! read more

Our first stay here. Great location to to local lakes. Very clean RV park. Nick the owner was very friendly, helpful and hospitable! We had a issue with our motorhome, he came over to try to help us and recommended a mobile RV service. He gave us great fishing tips and even showed us how to filet our fish. It was a lovely park with good ameneties and the staff were very friendly.

Had an awesome time here with my family. Rented a motor home for the first time in my life and it was super easy to park and hook up the utilities. Great time fishing in the streams snooks that is on site. Park owner is very friendly and will help in any way he can. I will definitely be going back again with my family in the future. NO complaints at all. There is even a shower that you can pay $1 to use and it has warm water. The bathrooms and shower stall is clean. I am glad I found this place. read more
