Diver's is probably my favorite spot in all of Laguna to go chill. It's... quiet, because it's…read morerelatively small compared to the Main Beach strand, but it's so special. It's usually clean and free of seaweed, and it just smells so good... no icky fish or seaweed decay odors; just clean ocean beach air. This beach only gets GOOD tanning sun during PEAK Summer hours, otherwise, it's kind of... a gamble on the tides and the time of day as to whether you can use the beach for tanning or not. It's a nice beach to NOT get tons of sun on, especially after about 5PM to sunset. It varies, of course, but that's TYPICALLY what you'll find happening. I do NOT believe this area has a lifeguard watching it (?) but correct me if wrong. I don't and haven't seen a lifeguard stand here. The next beach OVER, however does have a lifeguard watching post. This is the spot to go relax... and just sit with yourself and your thoughts. Let the tide rise a little, and then let it go out... and let your problems go with it. It's the best therapy for free you can get, I think... but, anyway... enjoy! :]

Visibility was pretty solid, and we spotted several fish cruising around. The waves were calm and totally manageable, which made it relaxing instead of stressful. There's also a vigilant lifeguard on duty, which adds a nice layer of peace of mind. Even if you're not snorkeling, it's a great spot to hang out and sunbathe. Seaweed was around but not overwhelming, definitely not like swimming through a kelp jungle.

Nice young lady took my information, verified my C card, and pulled out a tank, wetsuit, buoyancy compensator, wetsuit, weights, and regulator for me. Tried on the wetsuit and placed the weights into the bc, paid the $65 for the rental and loaded it all up into my car. Fairly quick and easy. Made my dive, returned the rental equipment, and was on my way. I'll be back the next time I need to rent dive gear.

At this point, I am not even talking about the refund anymore the fact that we could not even find someone willing to communicate with us is unacceptable. This entire experience has been extremely unprofessional. Selling courses, delaying them, failing to communicate, and then disappearing without any follow-up is not how a professional business should operate. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone who values their time, money, or proper customer service.

On your first day, don't expect to shoot a fish yourself. The first class is more about getting used to breathing through a snorkel, getting the right gear on and trying to keep yourself from swallowing sea water. The ocean kicked my butt. Even though I didn't spearfish myself, Nick did the hard work and brought some fish back and made an amazing ceviche. This sport is not for the faint of heart. Really cool sport and Nick teaches you how to be safe while entering and exiting the ocean because the waves could smash you in the rocks.

Safety 10/10 - My husband and I are not the most adventurous or active people and were a little nervous (very nervous in my case) about ocean swimming at night. Nick was VERY knowledgeable and reassuring, putting all our fears at ease. He assessed our prior experience and comfort levels and completely tailored the experience to us. While in the water he is professional and attentive, guiding you and directing your attention to the sea life (he brought many small lobsters and items of interest up from the bottom for us to hold, so cool!). He checks in on your comfort regularly and will escort you back to the beach with no fuss the moment you're ready (even if you haven't caught anything and then returns himself to finish diving for your dinner). Comfort 10/10 - Nick provides every piece of equipment you could possibly need. He makes sure you are well fitted in your dive gear. If you're worried about water temps, don't. The ocean will feel like a warm bath once you're geared up. After you're done diving, Nick buries you in warm sweaters and blankets and treats you to hot chocolate from a thermos so that you don't even notice the chill. Food 1000/10 - OH MY GOD. I am spoiled for uni and lobster for the rest of my life. Absolutely incredible to watch Nick prep and cook the fresh catch right on the beach while you sip hot cocoa. Mind blowing to actually eat the decadent uni and the sinfully buttery and sweet lobster. We were completely stuffed by the end and still had lobster meat left over!! 3 months later and I still daydream and drool over it... 2 small notes to make sure you get the most out of your time with Nick: 1. Go with the flow. Life happens, things don't run exactly on time, you're booking an experience in nature, and nature doesn't always cooperate. Just enjoy the process and you won't regret anything. 2. Best experience I never knew I needed!…read more On July 18th, 2026, I went out on a boat with Captain Maria, First Mate Janelle, and Second Mate (photographer) Hannah. They were lovely, helpful, and gave good info. The boat was choppy, which I enjoyed, but I felt 100% safe the entire time. Of course, the main attraction was the dolphins (& sea lions); it was amazing. We must have seen at least 500 of them, jumping in and out, in Sync with the boat and each other. Earlier this year I completed one of the three items on my bucket list (yes, only three), which was to see the Aurora Borealis (In Lapland, Finland), and I have to be honest, today's experience topped that by far (also much less cold). To sum it up, thanks to Captain Maria, Janelle, and the lovely Hannah, I had the best experience I never knew I needed to experience! P.S. Item #2 was also completed earlier this year. P.P.S. Item #3 is still waiting (for 36 years now).

They depart from the building towards the boat 15 mins beforehand so they want you to check in 30mins before (and on weekends/holidays, check in 45mins before). The boat departs on time at the scheduled time, so make sure you are here in the building 15-30mins before your booked time. We booked at 1pm and that's when the boat left the dock. We were gathered at the office at 12:45 to head towards the boat and unfortunately a couple missed their slot because they were not even in the parking lot at 1pm when the boat sailed. Don't make their mistake, just make sure you are parked at least 15mins before the booked time. They were willing to wait 5 mins, but not 30 mins, so timeliness from guests is important as we had almost 30 people on board. As you are led from the building to the boat, they have a pit stop at the bathroom as they warned that the boat's bathroom that can't take toilet paper and can easily clog. Unfortunately the ocean waters was unusually warm when we booked on 7/03 for whale/dolphin sighting so we didn't see any but they have a sighting guarantee so they gave us all a voucher to come back again for free. They gave out a delicious brownie at the end too, so I'm excited to come back for the brownie!
