It was the perfect little spot. If you want some r&r come early! It starts getting crowded early after and takes away from the serenity.

The views here are matchless. It is a small park, and if you can find parking in the limited neighborhood/street parking, it is an easy stroll to an amazing view with which to feed your soul. We saw a man with a walker strolling down the walkway to feast on the beauty of the Southern California shoreline. It is somewhat paved with a metal guard fence on four or so lookout points, with a small grassy area where we saw people grilling and picnicking. But it is really small, which makes it easily doable if you are looking for a place to pull off of PCH and take it all in. But it is not like a park where you would play ball, have a birthday party, or anything like that. Maybe a wedding? I didn't see any restroom facilities, but they do have a doggie drinking fountain (and one for humans, too) and a doggie trash disposal area with bags. read more

Worst beach in town. If you're are a tourist I would avoid this beach at all costs. The locals are not friendly to tourist. The beaches in Newport are a way better idea to check out. read more

What a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean, a giant rock and moonlight that shines like a firecracker in the summers. Such an inspiring stretch of coastline for all poets, writers and artists. Many people also get married or propose to their life partners here. This is an amazing park, and lately Ive been on a poetry kick, and since I have written over 1400 poems, I thought one more wouldn't be too bad to add to my collection. This kind of pure nature exists in Orange County? Yes, indeed! Located off of PCH, is this secluded little park. You'd need to know what you are looking for, as this is in a residential neighborhood. Street parking is available. Bring a blanket, as it will get cold. This place offers views of the hillside mansions, crashing waves and Catalina Island on a clear day. Many people come out and capture the sights with their cameras or come here with their dogs; whatever suits your fancy. Perfect place to shoot engagement photos, have a picnic, etc. Beautiful view! read more

I've waited more than a year to finish this review so it's appropriate that it will be my 100th one! Woo. This park has one of the most beautiful views in California. Last summer I went to all the small beaches of Laguna Beach and while I was at Diver's Cove, I looked up and saw Crescent Bay Point Park and had to find a way to get up there. Once I did, I knew this was the place to propose to my wife. For some reason, each time I've been here, parking wasn't a problem, but there isn't much of it. It's such a secluded, secret area, I hope it doesn't get too popular. There are amazing views of the beaches below and the Pacific Ocean. A friend of mine was actually married here. If you're planning on a very intimate wedding, you just need a permit...and have your guests show up very early. Don't expect a public bathroom or a snack stand. It's just a small, romantic park with colorful flowers and a view you won't soon forget. read more

Love this beach! Residential parking (pay attention to the signs though) and very accessible from Cliff Drive, with a short walk down a flight of stairs to the sand. There's even a public restroom, with outdoor showers, that was cleaner than most I've seen. It even had hand soap! read more

If you like to travel south on Coast Hwy 1, this is by most definite place to stop! The park is very quaint and eloquent. In a luxurious neighborhood nearby Laguna Beach. I'm sure many people come to this iconic place to relax. I was so enthusiastic and thrilled to be there to catch the awe. There was a family there getting their pictures there. All of a sudden, an elderly woman asked me if I would like my self picture taken. I agreed to her replay. When I was ready, I've made the biggest grin since I was overly joyed of how picturesque this park along the cliffs of the coast and of the ocean. I can see Catalina Island up close from afar. Also, I can see Dana Point. There is a grassy area here which is pristine condition to lay back to rest or have a romantic picnic. I'm sure people reserve this place for weddings. 5 stars for the beauty! read more

Sure, i'll go with the crowed on this one. Crescent Bay Point is a very universal place, while not guaranteeing you a way into her pants, it is definitely a stopping point on your mission for vag. Day or night, the view, feel, and amazement is enjoyed and welcomed in the hearts of many. If you do not appreciate a place like this then you should just die. I have also come here many-a-nights with the guys to "smash" 40's to our face and have deep, drama filled conversations. I have spent hours on end here either one on one, or with the gang. This park is a little slice of the good life even if you think you'll never be able to afford it. Take a picnic here and keep dreaming because this place is sublime! It's In a sort of a pullout from a neighborhood which keeps the area (sans the animals) very quiet. The birds here can holler a bit but its like their job. The crashing of the waves below you can really pass a beautiful afternoon and put anyone in a great mood. Hubby proposed to me here, with the aid of my trusty stuffed animal Ducky Lucky, who's definitely seen better days. There aren't many vantage points as beautiful as Crescent Bay, outside of the Amalfi Coast. A local artist just added bronze sculptures of sea birds and a sea lion here, as well, making it more kid-friendly and adding another layer of Laguna-ness when people choose to be married here. Don't come expecting a large area to walk around and explore; it is what the name suggests, a jewel-box of a park at a stunning viewpoint. If you want to impress your lady, do like my husband did: bring her here just before sunset, enjoy the next half hour together (propose, make out or just watch the horizon together), then go up Coast Highway to Five Crowns for dinner. read more

This is one of my favorite hidden gems in Laguna Beach. In the middle of a cute little neighborhood. But the view is fierce. A lot of people have their weddings here because it is that beautiful. There are little sections of places you can go to, to check out the different views of the ocean. You can even hear seals from this view point. They are so cute. And at night you can see the whole Laguna strip. It's so pretty. It definitely has a different vibe, and beauty at night. read more

This is a review for those wishing to book a service or ceremony at this breathtaking location - I attended a memorial service up here. This location has grand views of the Pacific, Seal Rock and the Crescent Bay Beach below. The seating is spectacular for a gathering. Plenty of seats, I might add, with the concrete excedra. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful place to hold a service. It had been reserved by the family with the town of Laguna Beach for an hour. The city will reserve it for you, which means no one else can book the place, but they will not cordon off an area or stop the tourists from using the spot to admire the views. There were so many tourists on the bluff and they felt free to stroll on over and check out what was going on at the service. The second problem is inadequate parking! The bluff is literally at the end of a residential street. The service had to wait until many arrived who could not find parking They had to drive around for quite a while looking for a spot. Once found, it was quite a walk to the bluff. read more

The sound of the water splashing against the rocks, the reflection of the sun sparkling on the ocean, the fragrance of the spring flowers surrounding the park. Like something out of a postcard; so peaceful, so relaxing and absolutely beautiful. I bookmarked this place for over 6 months now and finally got the chance to experience it for myself. Memorial Day, my boyfriend and I had the day off so it was the perfect opportunity for us to go. Although the Laguna Beach is always packed with people on Memorial Day but I figured it's a small park everyone else is probably down at the beach. We live in Laguna Hills so its not far from Laguna Beach...however, traffic was terrible and it took us forever to get there. Once we got there, I was overwhelmed with joy to see such an amazing sight. Parking was a breeze since there were a couple of people leaving when we arrived. Crescent Park is located in a small beautiful neighborhood, the people who live here has such an amazing view. We packed for a picnic and thank goodness there weren't a lot of people there when we arrived. We set up our blanket and food on the grass overlooking the ocean. There were 3 other couples doing the same thing, we all had a good amount of distant between each other so there were some privacy. For the time I was there I felt like all my worries melted away...I did not think about anything else except for this lovely moment I am sharing with the love of my life having a relaxing picnic overlooking the ocean, it was truly perfect! This has got to be one of my favorite spot so far. I cannot wait to come back here for many more picnics. In the previous reviews I read about people getting married here (ceremony) and I can only imagine how beautiful that would be. This is such a great place to take a date, a perfect place to do something romantic if you are the type...or just a place to go to getaway. Whatever the reason, this place makes it a special occasion. I love the name of this park, Crescent...the ocean below where all the houses curves around it looks like a crescent. I just made that up but maybe that's why the park is called that? Just around the left corner across the ocean is another park called Heisler Park, same great views but not as private and looks bigger than Crescent. read more

Nice, quaint park with a grassy area and gorgeous views of the ocean. Also FREE PARKING in the nearby residential area. Now that's a rarity. Beautiful views of the Laguna coast from the cliff point. They have these little nooks for private viewing or small groups and a larger area for general sightseeing. A little hard to locate, I always remember to turn right when I see the art hotel to my left going down PCH. I've heard it nicknamed Polar Bear point as well for when it looks like their are polar bears at night when the waves crash against the rocks below the cliff. Come here for a nice pic-nick or just a little relaxation time. :) read more

Based on all the reviews, i was expecting the park to be bigger but it was really small. More like a small viewing area. Most of the parks area seems to be under some sort of repair so was closed.The view however was def pretty so a quick stop would be more than enough. read more

A great place to have a small picnic. Be aware that he does get busy around sunset as it offers one of the most epic views in Laguna and Orange County area. You can clearly see Catalina Islands straightahead and to your left gorgeous views of Laguna Hills. Dogs are allowed as long as they're on the leash. You can also take the stairs down to the beach. Don't even question coming here...JUST GO!!! To keep it short and simple, Crescent Bay Point Park has a gorgeous view!! I can see why a lot of couples get married in this place. I remember my professor (one of my favorites and also the one that persuaded me to come to LB) from CSULB told the whole class ,"I suggest you all go to Crescent Bay in Laguna Beach. It's a VERY BEAUTIFUL PLACE! When you are there, look to your left and wave your arms in the air...that's where I am and hopefully I see any of you from that point..." This place was serene and beautiful! A very small park with a grassy knoll. A couple people were there were blankets/chairs, relaxing. There is a sidewalk that goes around with a few different viewpoints of the water below. Very pretty and picturesque. Parking was easy... free, on the street, in the residential area on Crescent Bay Dr. The walk around the park is VERY short, could be done in about 2 minutes. We just stopped to take in the views & snap a pic! I thought I read some reviews that said there was beach access via some steps, but I did not see any steps or a way to get down to the beach. read more

I love to explore. I was at the boardwalk at Laguna Beach where the lifegaurd tower and shopping strip is when I stumble upon a perfume shop. The wise knowledge surfer dude was the one who referred me to this park. I'm so glad that I took his advice. This is the park where my boyfriend asked me to be his. I fell in love with him here. I even fell in love with this place. The breath taking sight, the cute seals chilling, and the friendly environment is what drives me to want to keep coming to this place. This place is perfect for picnics during the day time and perfect to lay and look up at shoot stars at the night time. This place is definitely child and dog friendly as well which is a bonus when I wanna take my little brother or cousins and my dog Tobi out here. read more

Friends have told me that many engagements occur here. Now I understand why. Parking is available locally. Folks could walk up to the edge of the cliff and peer over to watch surfers and visitors swimming on one side and on the other is a breathtaking view of aquascapes cascading over rocks.
