This review is actually long overdue as it appears for some reason wasn't saved initially. I'd like…read moreto first thank Salt & Straw for the invitation to sample their ice cream at the beautiful Tuscan Village at Salem NH. I actually haven't had the time to venture far into the village yet since constructed and the invitation to Salt & Straw encouraged that and I'm so glad I went. Parking is street although you can find some lots nearby. Please keep in mind its a very casual pedestrian friendly area so avoid pressing the NOS button. There is a beautiful and calming water fountain before the shop which is forward and center depending on where you're looking from. There are chairs and umbrellas outside to take in the fresh air and warm sunshine and people watch or dog watch lol. There are some cuties out there. Entering the shop is the super clean and cutely decorated parlor with amazing counter staff who are very patient and happy to help. I brought a few of my family with me to enjoy their own treats and try some new and exciting flavors that aren't so basic. Every flavor was unique and delightful and my son ended up buying a pint for me to bring back home as a Mother's Day gift. They are not allowed to empty that pint industry go back for more another time. Our flavors picks were: Little guy choice: Lavender Honey Mine and older boys choices was: Jasmine Milk Tea Almond Stracciatella and they added another flavor to thwir scoop but I don't recall what it was BF pick was Coffee and Love Nuts milk shake. I took home the pint of Pistachio and Ricotta Cannoli. Its simply delicious. Overall, we all.had such an amazing experience and can't wait to try all their other flavors. I highly recommend everyone to give them a try and sample different flavors. You're sure to find one you love if not all of them!

They have 31 other locations open around as it originally started in Oregon in the west area. We have 2 open now in the New York area. Closer to home. The west village and upper west side area of New York. The Salt & Straw is in the middle of the outside mall area that was an originally a horse race track back in the day called The Rockingham Park. When you walk into the Salt & Straw you know you're at the right place because there is a sweet scent of the waffle cones in the air when you open the door. Everyone is invited to sample every flavor of you want as there is like 17 flavors. I choose a try many to make sure I got the right flavor. The ice cream is so creamy and delicious. They also offer milk shakes as well. They have a lot of unique flavors they offer and you may sample as many as you want. They also give you a little unique spoon with each sample and there is a convenient slot to insert your dirty spoon into once you're all done with the spoon and automatically drops into an area for it to be cleaned. Definitely an added touch to this unique ice cream shop. After all my samples I had I went with the sea salted w/ caramel ribbons in a freshly made waffle cone. It was out of this world. Very much enjoyed on the outside patio where there is plenty of tables with umbrellas to enjoy your ice cream. The staff were very attentive and didn't hold back to hand out the free ice cream samples. There is a fully stocked freezer there with all flavors ready in bulk "to go," containers. Can't wait to go back when I'm back in the area. Glad to know there is also one in my local area. Hope one day they will open one in Connecticut.

The corn maze itself was so much more difficult than we thought it would be and I mean that in a good way. We ended up getting completely lost and after 40 or so minutes we stumbled out of the entrance (we couldn't find the exit). I would totally go here again!

The corn maize was fun and we managed to get through it in about 30 minutes. Met a lot of other happy walkers on the way. After that, we went to visit the goats, cows and donkeys in the field which also included a pond. It was a beautiful sunny serene afternoon with adults and children enjoying the farm and the pastoral scenery. We purchased a dozen of the delicious apple cider donuts and enjoyed some on the way home. Admission was very reasonable, $8 per adult. We also brought home a pumpkin. Plan to return to try the hay ride and Richardson's ice cream. The staff was very friendly and gladly answered any questions we had. My husband said he had never seen a cow standing in a pond before but the staff member told us that the animals enjoy the pond, especially in the hot weather. All the animals looked healthy, happy and well-fed which was a big issue for me. Great job Crescent Farms!
