I've lived here many years off necessity before anyone asks why don't I just move. I used to think this was the best place to live in. Quiet, well maintained, good people, great management but that is no longer the case. Management literally will not do anything for you. No point of having a large club house office for them. The manager is worthless. All they care about is renting as many units as they can and getting rent in. It's all business, it's all it is, with zero interest in their residents. I would not recommend living here. It's so far out from everything it will become a burn-out and the quality of residents they are accepting guaranteed you will encounter issues and no help. They will keep your deposit. Make up damages so they don't have to give it back. Make sure to do an video and pictures of the apartment when you move in and out. Also anything you need fixed along the way they will charge you for it. Might as well save to buy a house if your going to be paying for repairs anyways. The price for water/garbage/sewer goes up constantly not much but it will go up within your lease so it raises your rent. Angie is great! Everyone else is racist assholes. Good luck! I just renewed my lease for the 7th time. I love it here. Savannah, Krista and John are a great management team. The maintenance crew are quick and competent. There is easy access to the highway and Boulder Hwy with lots of shopping and restaurants close by. There are probably more modern complexes in Henderson, but for me its very comfortable, affordable and convenient and that is more important. The community is safe and relatively quiet. The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, with lots of grass and trees, which is rare for a Henderson property of this size, and the grounds are regularly maintained. There are 2 pools and a nicely equipped exercise room. I love dogs and there are a lot of them here, yet there are waste containers all over and a dedicated area for dogs equipped with exercise ramps. We have lived here almost 9 years. Everything is old. Rent in those 9 yrs went up 1000.00. The last increase was 400.00. I think it was to pay for the new door on the office oh ya and they bought new gym equipment. Because we can't get anything. Can't wait to move. read more

They will keep your security deposit! Charge you for basic repainting and to re-carpet even though it was not new or in good condition when you first moved in! Recently moved out of these apartments after renting there for 2 years. Management was always helpful. Things changed when it came time for our lease renewal. The rent increase went up $150! The previous year it was $15-normal. Managements explanation was "all the one bedrooms in the area are going for $1000, so we had to raise it that much". Well, that might be true of the brand new apartments close to 215 freeway maybe. Interesting, because on their website a small one bedroom, which we had, still states "starting at $740". So we gave our 30 day notice and actually moved out 10 days early. We thoroughly cleaned the apartment, but did not clean carpets. Waited and waited over a month for our security deposit only to be told this, "We needed to replace the carpet but we only charge you $75 for carpet cleaning and we also charge $75 for paint even though we paid $165." - John Estanol, Manager I have always understood that tenants are not responsible for normal wear and tear to walls and carpets. Have you heard that old saying about lipstick on a pig? Well, that is Crescent Ridge Apartments. Sure, they are brand new, but every thing is also half assed (at least in my apartment). Like the shower curtain rod that's just sitting on top of the tub liner, so every time I open the curtain when I step in or out of the shower, it comes crashing down. Or the not properly installed toilet paper roll holder-- or toilet seat for that matter. And then there is the 747 engine that is the air conditioning. If you enjoy turning the TV up, turning the TV down, turning the TV up, turning the TV down every time it clicks on (and then off), then more power to you. It aggravates me to no end. And then there are the paper thin ceilings. I'm sure my neighbor upstairs is a pleasant fellow, but five out of seven days a week I listen to his TV/Stereo system from the moment he gets home, to the moment he goes to sleep. If you have ever seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation you will know the scene where Julie Louis Dreyfus goes to slug Chevy Chase's character, but she ends up getting attacked by Snot because the squirrel flew onto her chest once Chevy opened the door to let the squirrel out. So, she hobbles back home, rings her door bell and upon Todd opening the door she slugs him in the face; that's going to be me one day. I swear to whichever deity you prefer. Oh, I cannot believe I almost forgot about the paper thin walls too. If you plan on renting here, DO NOT GET A FIRST FLOOR IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO. I kid you not, as soon as the crickets come out at night, every 5 - 10 minutes I have to open and slam the door so they shut the f*ck up, because I cannot handle the incessant chirping. And then there's the gym. The gym is.... smallish. I know it's not supposed to be Bally's or Gold's; the facility has free weights, a Bow Flex machine, a couple Elliptical machines, couple treadmills, and stationary bike, and a couple exercise balls and the gym is 24 hour access with the key management gives you upon renting. The problem is NONE OF THE MACHINES WORK. I went in there the other day for the first time and found that only one Elliptical machine worked out of all of them. Oh, both of the TVs worked. Whoopity-doo! So, the next day I bought a membership at a real gym, that requires me drive 10-12 minutes to. I know *the horror*. But I digress. That's another problem I, personally, have; if you want to be away from the strip, this is the place for you. Sure, the area is nice and it's nice to be 10 minutes from Lake Mead, but it is the EDGE. OF. CIVILIZATION. You have to get on the expressway and drive two miles just to a grocery store, for Chrissakes! *Turns TV volume down* Anyway, beyond all that they are nice apartments. The management is friendly and accommodating, which seems to be rarity in this day and age when it comes to rental-property management and the pool/jacuzzi is lovely. I've heard there are two pools, but I am yet to find the other one and I was told it's broken anyway. As far as maintenance goes, they seem to be on point, though I have never needed them in terms of fixing something in my apartment, but the pool's filtration/pump/waterfall system wasn't on one day, I notified management and within 5 minutes two men were there to turn the system on. And they do have a business center for residents to use which includes computers with internet and copy machine (it may have a fax machine, I've never actually stepped inside.) and that's a bonus, especially for job seekers and students. Oh, and one car garages for rent ($70 bucks extra) So, you know there's that. In summation, if you're looking for a place away from the buzz of Vegas, this is a great place. They are very nice apartments; high ceilings, nice stainless steel appliances, front loading W/D, nice cabinetry, and deep soaker tubs. Just make sure you go for the second floor. But for myself? I'll be moving to Spring Valley when my lease is up next May. *turns TV volume up* read more

I'm in the process of having a house built and needed a place to stay for 4 months. I looked into a short term lease with Crescent Ridge as we had been there before and had an idea of what to expect. We filled out the application, paid the $100 hold fee, and then...waited. And waited some more. Oh someone's on vacation, someone hasn't cleared the unit to be rented, we're totally booked, insert excuse of the day here. We ended up getting a town house not far away and we won't be getting even a partial refund even though they were the ones doing the foot dragging and couldn't get it done. Oh and they ran a background check and just like last time it came back that someone with my name had a felony stealing charge. Turns out it was for someone with my middle and last names that generated the hit. Excluding my legendary lead foot I have no other items on my record so having the staff obtain a messed up report and look at you suspiciously because their background service is clueless is not something anyone should have to put up with. Rating: Drop to 1 Star, with placement on the appropriate lists and yes, even a braying jackass could have handled this one better. One positive, their front office staff kicks ass. The problems here start at the site manager and go up from there. Oh and they finally joined the modern age and started accepting credit cards! Amazing! read more

Updated Review: Now I have lived here 7 years. My last positive review was when I only lived here 4 years. I get the difficulty of having your rent raised, and I certainly don't do cartwheels when it happens. However, to get what I currently have, it would cost more elsewhere. Here, I know my needs will be met, and I will be safe. I noticed a review on here in reference to them not getting their deposit back. I own a cleaning business and requested an itemized list of what needs to be done to ensure a resident gets their deposit back. I did two move outs, and made sure everything on the list was taken care of, and both tenants received their deposit back. If you're looking for a wonderful place to live, that is extremely safe and has staff that tends to everything you need, this is the place. My husband and I lived here a little over two years before we purchased our first home. At first it was very quiet But towards the end we had some issues with a few loud neighbors and noticed some vandalism starting to happen. I think those kinds of things happen everywhere though. They are always raising the rent when you renew and water, garage and nothing shows for it. Trash and dog poop everywhere. People are loud at night especially the kids, who have no respect when by your window. The pool area is always disrespected by the ghetto residents. This place has gone down hill. and when there is a complaint the answer is always "we don't want to put anyone on notice" and it is like they like the bad behavior. Don't get me wrong the staff in the office are very prompt with service calls and are considerate, however they do need to make tenants accountable for their actions. read more

The area is nice and the apartments are good. The kitchen is a little award with the counter space and the laundry machines behind it. Bathrooms are nice with a big tub. Management leaves you alone and the place is pretty quite. I had some bad experiences with neighbors, but not with Crescent Ridge. They wanted to rise my rent after a year of being there. I was expecting them to give me a deal to stay longer so I left. Overall, as an apartment, this place is good, but I hate living in apartments. read more

I would not recommend Crescent ridge apartments. The apartments are very nice, however, the manager of the leasing office downgrades this complex with his unprofessional ways. I am constantly fighting with the manager about things that he should have taken care of. All this complex cares about is the extra dollar. They do not care what so ever about the residents. I referred someone to live in here and I was not given the 150 off of my rent like I was told I would receive. I have had a letter on my door saying I owed money and when I called to find out what it was for they didn't even know. The manager wouldn't even call me back to tell me if they figured it out or where letting it go. The pool is no longer 24 hours and they have raised the pet rent. In the past I would have given this a 5 star but because I have had such bad experiences with the office it has made me start looking at other complexes. read more

I have lived at Crescent Ridge for 4 years now, I can honestly say I have never been disappointed with my decision. Besides never being embarrassed to invite guests to where we live (it is extremely close to looking like a resort) All of us are SAFE here!! I can go into the fact that the apartment homes are spacious, along with looking brand new, the fact that I have never been concerned for my safety is the biggest plus of all. If I were to disclose a negative point, it would be, the pool is no longer open 24 hours which is a hardship to me and my husband because we work such odd hours. I have currently been living in this shit hole for about two years, this place will be a waste of your time I am currently paying 1000 dollars a month for a one bedroom apartment because they decided to raise the rent each time you renew. I moved into these apartments because I enjoyed having the gated community but of course they never never work, also the pools are always filthy dirty look like they are never cleaned. The front staff at the office are nice and they will help you out. The bottom line is to avoid this place because they will take as much of your money as possible. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS!!! The Management is the worst. I have been harassed non stop from them since I moved in. The office manager John is the biggest jerk around. I used to have a truck and I left 3 perfectly good tires in my parking spot for less than a day, they didn't even give me a warning and when I got home from work they were in the trash. Than when John has a problem he comes knocking on my door with no call or nothing. He is unprofessional and needs to get over himself. read more

I don't know why people keep bashing this apartment complex. Rent is much higher per sq/ft in other nice areas of Henderson. Light traffic and quiet complex. Front office staff is nice. The manager is great. I have had three occasions where I either forgot to pay the rent on time or bounced a check. I went straight to the office as soon as i found out and let them know. Each time the manager gave me a break and allowed me to pay without lawyer or other fees associated. The pool closes at 11 so people wont keep you up all night having parties like their on thier own backyard. Hreat place and highly recommended. read more

My son and I lived here for 1 year and it was the greatest experience we had. Plenty of space and reasonable rent. We never had issues with anyone or anything. The front office ladies were always pleasant and always helpful. They always came through when you asked them to change a light bulb or spray. It's a very quiet area and secluded. I am a current resident and I moved in at the end of January. I read the reviews on Crescent Ridge before I moved in on various websites. No one had anything positive to say. Everything that was stated- I have yet to identify as an issue for me. Boy, am I glad that I can read reviews objectively and think independently from them. I fell in love with the models. I love it here! Someone was parking in my spot and per the staff's request- I went to them and they handled it. I called maintainence and they came the same day. Now, I' m not saying that everything is perfect, there are things to be corrected but it is cosmetic and I know how to pick and choose my battles. If someone is always complaining, the negative is easily found but the positive is overshadowed. But there are many many positives! The staff is very friendly, personable and responsive. The property is well taken care of and peaceful. Not to mention, I can walk past someone and we acknowledge one another- with a smile, hello or tonight- I got a welcome home. I haven't ran into an unpleasant person on this property. The sense of community is what I missed the most- moving from California. I would definitely reccomend this property to anyone looking for a place to call home! read more

We've lived here over a year and up until the last couple months it was great but unfortunately they recently were bought and new management took over. Every since we have not been happy residents! The rent and pet fees were raised quite a bit and conveniently the front office is under going a makeover that is very much not needed! They did get some new gym equipment however my son who has been working out there for over a year with me is no longer aloud to go there because he is not 18 even tho he is with a parent and i am more than willing to sign a waiver ... ridiculous! It would have been nice for them to atleast send out a notice informing of the rules instead of yelling at you after the fact when you had no idea they changed. Which also includes the pool not being open 24 hrs anymore, i mean really this is Vegas and almost everyone works odd hrs. Also my kids are no longer aloud at the pool without an adult, another rule that has changed without notice and then instead of politely telling them they were yelled at and told very rudely to get out of the pool. Not cool, the new staff has been nothing but rude and snotty!!! Our lease is now up and we were gonna extend it and stay but now we are looking for a new place asap!!! read more

They lie straight from the beginning! This place is horrible! We have lived her for 9 months already and can't wait to get out! THere are bugs like crazy, that the bug man doesn't get rid of. The construction of this place look like they never went through any inspections! The staff say they will take care of the problems you mention, but don't! You put i a work order to have something fixed and 4 month later it' still not fixed! Oh, and you can't do any repairs yourself. It's a violation of the lease. I also have a 3 year old that now can break through any child safety on the door and unlock to go out. This worried me, so I asked the ofice staff if i could install a flip latch lock on top to be safe. They said no, because it would be a permanent altercation, and they can't have that! Then just two weeks ago my door handle just fell off the front door! lock and all! I called to have it fixed, but three nights of worrying later, no fix! I had to go into the office to yell at them to get it fixed! Want my advise' Go get better! you hear every noise made here and get tatled on about every little noise too. read more
