I would give 0 stars if I could. Management seems far more concerned with towing residents' vehicles than maintaining the property or providing the amenities residents actually pay for. My vehicle is registered to my apartment, assigned to our unit, and parked in our designated parking area. During my pregnancy, I repeatedly contacted management because the towing company kept marking my vehicle and threatening to tow it. I explained that I was pregnant, not driving regularly, and that the vehicle belonged to me a current resident. Despite those conversations, management apparently flagged my vehicle anyway, and it was ultimately towed, costing my family well over $650, and my car was towed 6/18 4pm picked up from the tow lot at 8:30pm (car was only there a few hours till it was picked up) What's especially frustrating is that while management has time to monitor vehicles, issue tow notices, and authorize expensive tows against paying residents, they have somehow been unable to reopen the community pool. The pool has been closed for over a month during the hottest part of the year, with temperatures well over 100 degrees. Residents continue paying rent and amenity fees while one of the property's main amenities remains unavailable. The message this sends is clear: collecting towing fees and penalizing residents appears to be a higher priority than maintaining the property and providing the services residents are paying for. If you're considering living here, be aware that your vehicle may receive more attention from management than the condition of the community itself. read more

Ok so, I was on the search for a decent apartment in a great area and found this little gem, I must say Krista in the front office is amazing! She was so helpful and kind during my application process and move in. Now, these apartments are older and there are a lot of older tenants but, for the most part it's quiet EXCEPT for the noisy traffic during the day on Horizon Ridge (if your apartment is facing that road) Also, I do wish there were ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom (master at least) I've had to buy a couple of floor fans to cut back a little on A/C and I have to have a fan on to sleep at night. When I moved in, my balcony had so much bird poop it was gross, maintenance came and cleaned it up and was nice for a few days and then it was poop all over it again, it's been a couple weeks now and haven't had too much of a mess and hope to get some small patio furniture soon. There is a front gate and a side gate to get in and out of the complex and tbh, I wish it wasn't open all day since there is A LOT of traffic in and out all day and I do notice cars parked in handicap spots without any placard (mainly near the side gate) one white Kia was parked 2 days (this guy parks in parking spots that are not his! Even parked in my space one day) and no ticket SMH since there are a lot of older people here/handicap it would be nice for someone to check throughout the day. I have not tried the gym or pool yet, but I'm sure it's nice, I do love that they have Amazon lockers and the mail room has a very heavy door to get in and out for security and this complex is very well lit at night which is also great for safety reasons. Also, I don't think that they care too much about decorations that have been up since Halloween lol there is an apartment across the way that still has a oogie boogie decoration on their door and a small pumpkin out I think? Its springtime now and just weird to look at everyday ‍ I also wish that there was a few steps off to the side (where all the rocks are closest to Horizon Ridge) to get up and down instead of neighbors pulling themselves up (lazy) on the bars in front of my place to get to their apartment instead of walking around. Also, just to mention if you get an apartment here that faces onto horizon ridge parkway prepare to buy some black out curtains, with it heating up I have definitely felt that heat coming through and blackout curtains hep a lot! There's an apartment that faces horizon ridge and it has those foil visors for your car, it looks strange from the street and surprised it's ok since most complexes don't like visible window coverings from the street. For the most part, I'm pretty happy I found this place and works perfectly for me and my WFH office, I would hope they would start to have activities monthly, my old complex had activities monthly and it was always a fun event (things like donuts in the office, they had lunch or dinner on them, buffet setting where they handed out the food) it's little things to get the community involved and to know their neighbors) maybe one day? Also, maintenance is great here and always ready to fix something quickly (much appreciated) I love that I'm so close to so many things too, across the way there's Target, Sprouts, Tropical Smoothie, Starbucks and so much more!! read more

I have been happy living here. I wanted an older complex (better noise insulation) which allowed dogs and that is what I got! My apartment is spacious and sunny - the second floor apartments have an enclosed staircase inside which makes it feel like a loft. My experiences with maintenance have been very good - especially Luciano, Antonio, and Gonzolo. The office staff is pleasant and the grounds are very pretty and green with lovely trees, especially along the center pathway. We all had to adjust to the changes in the landscaping wherein in they removed a lot of grass in some areas and replaced it with red rocks and plants but now that it's done and the plants are growing, I think it's really a great improvement. The only comment I would make is that it would be helpful to have more notifications such as if the pool is closed, put signage up on all the entrances because there's three ways to enter. Or if the side gate is broken - this could also be managed better by sending out apartment complex wide emails. On holidays such as Thanksgiving or Fourth of July there are some neighbors (although fortunately not in my section) but who will blare music which is very inconsiderate but I have found that to be the case in every complex I have ever lived in. read more

This place has the laziest workers there. You service requests take forever to get a response and get repairs done if it's not urgent. The leasing agents are lazy and seem to forget any of your concerns once you leave the door after talking to them. They need better employees working there. This place is old and needs some TLC. The side gate on horizon ridge is always open as well as people tend to want to party a lot here and are selfish and unmindful of there neighbors. However, Surprisingly thats not the worst thing about the apartments, the bug infestation is. There are silverfish, spiders, and giant roaches that will be in your apartment during the summer. I've lived here for over 5 years now, and when I first moved in, this property always has been kept clean and well maintained. Management has changed from then to now. However, they are always there to listen to your concerns and will do what they can. The units here are very spacious, and most of all, having your own personal garage attached to your unit is great!! Maintenance crew have always been professional and will always do their best to address the issues you're having within your unit. Pet friendly apartment homes were a must for me since I have one, not to mention there's a weight limit as well as how many you're able to have living with you. I want to update my review a year later. It seems they have decided to remove ALL grass on the property in favour for dusty, red rocks. Now all pet owners think they can let their animals poop everywhere without cleaning it up, and the dust is staining every pets' feet. I'm pretty disappointed as the walking trail was one of the best features of the apartment. There have also been issues with the community Amazon mailbox causing packages to be stuck for weeks. With these changes, rent should lower at least. I'm hoping this is a temporary update. I understand there are issues with water usage but I don't care anymore since people down the street get to have grass and a 24/7 waterfall. A better, less "dusty" alternative could have been chosen. read more

This place is managed by a terrible property management team. I was a tenant who always paid my rent on time and caused no issues. They never respond to utility needs and it takes them multiple weeks to months to fix an issue. On top of that once you leave they try coming up with a reason to bill/fine you for not "properly maintaining" the apartment which is complete nonsense. And on top of that instead of giving you a heads up or a notice they just send it to collections to grab even more money off you. Make sure you read the entire 60 page contract because they will try and use it against you! Not recommended at all. read more

I've lived here since the end of January the area is super calm and quiet with the occasional group of kids playing (they always seem to be supervised which I appreciate!) the ladies in the office (Angie and christa is who we talk to mostly) are so so so nice and they really do go above and beyond when you need help or with answering simple questions! And they never give off a rude or 'annoyed by you' vibe which I appreciate so much! We've had absolutely no experience with having bugs in our unit ever, we've had no experience with breakins or attempted breakins which is something I personally was worried about! We have a 1br and it is spacious and it doesn't feel like we're living in a box the bathroom is amazing and the tub is huge! When we did have an issue that required maintenance repairs they took like 2 days max! Which was surprisingly fast because I expected it to take longer! They do have in unit washer and dryer's which is an amazing bonus!! I personally feel like our only problem is we don't really pay for the unit itself it's more like we pay to live in the Henderson area I do feel like the quality of the amenities in the apartment are cheaper and they are quite small (more specifically the cabinets and the fridge/freezer) and on top of that we do have a good amount of plug-ins that physically won't hold the plugs because they are too loose and we do have a plug that is popping off of the wall (which we talked about when we first moved in) and the unit really does struggle to cool down our ac is set at 64 yet the temperature of the unit is 80 degrees and it never actually seems like it cools down the apartment. we have 2 fans in our room (which is a struggle itself because the wall plug ins won't hold the fan plugs ) and it is CONSTANTLY hot in our room and it only seems to actually cool down the living room area and barley that (though there is a fan in the kitchen area which does help tremendously) . Otherwise we've had no problems with the apartment itself or staff! I will say it's worth it if you can afford it because the surrounding area is so so so nice and the people are friendly and you won't have any typical "living in vegas" problems the apartment grounds itself is always clean and it's always beautiful especially with the fact that they have multiple cherry trees planted on the grounds (the blossoms on the trees and so beautiful there's nothing like it!) and I really do love living in the apartments itself and the surrounding area! (Oh and another bonus is we actually do have balconies! That are quite spacious and it's super nice and relaxing to just sit and feel the breeze at night!) read more

ZERO!! Not 1 Star. My AC stopped working a couple weeks ago and we had to get a hotel room Dow the street. Yes we called the emergency number and it wasn't working. While they were fixing the AC I showed the Mgr and repair man my phone as I called the emergency number and we all heard the number was disconnected. The temperature outside was 107 so you can imagine what my apartment was at. We threw everything in the frig and had to get hotel room. I'm a disabled Vet on a fixed income. I gave the hotel bill to Danielle "the Mgr". Now two weeks later and my inquires about reimbursement Danielle calls to tell me they will not pay for Hotel room. She's a liar and told her that. 6 months here and this what you need to consider. This place is old. Built over 25 years ago and everything indicates this. Mold, bad oders and you can't walk on the side walks becuase of rotting fruit. They cut a lot of corners here and you won't be happy. If you have no problems the office staff are your best friends. We moved in Oct-2014 We LOVED it. NOW no longer. When we re-sighned our lease in 2015 they upped our rent by $150 . And water , sewer trash was rasised .. Almost 2 yrmearsafter moving in here , the gym is FINALLY up to code and we have NEW machines .. With a sign on the door that says NO ONE under 18 IS PERMITTED.. (we have trouble with that ). The pool and jacuzzi is suppose to be heated year round , my bathtub is warmer than the jacuzzi . (We no longer use the pool , after finding poop in it last year). I would say the office staff is nice, but they change so much , that I lost count. Maintance used to be nice and gets stuff done .. Someone has been stralimg stuff from residents properties. I moved to Henderson in 2010. I have had 2 units here. I moved in July 2010. I loved my one bedroom unit on the top floor. It had lots of light and space. I also love that the stairs to the unit are indoors so nobody comes to bother you. I have lived here for almost 6 years and I have never had any neighbor issues. Nobody bothers me. I moved into a 2 bedroom in 2014 and I love it! It has lots of space (1100 sq feet ) 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is also on the second floor. I have been in the pool, and the times I have been it's been clean. I use the gym occasionally. It is very hot in there. I am not sure what the situation with the A/C is, but the machines work. They did just get new machines and they work great. There is a note on the door saying people under 18 are not allowed in. I can see that as there is no attendant in the gym. The noise level is okay. There are kids around, so if you do not like kids, then this is not the place for you. The grounds are kept nicely. The staff is friendly. . They do rotate a lot, but for the most part, I have not had a problem with anyone.. Maintenance is good. They get to you on an emergency system basis. So, if your light is out above the sink, but someone in another unit is experiencing a problem with say, flooding or something, They are going to get to the other person first. I have not had a problem with them coming into the property when I am not there either. The location is very nice. 1 mile away from Green Valley Ranch hotel, Smiths Grocery store and fast food places as well. You can also go right up the street to either Walgreen's or CVS. Sprouts is good walking distance as well as Target and the nail salon. You can also get gas right next door as there is a Chevron on the corner. It's also right off the 215 so you can't beat that. Oh yes, also NY Chinese restaurant will deliver, and they are not even a mile away. For me, the downside is there is no public transit access. It's on a street that just doesn't have that. So if you are looking for something on the buss line, you need to go further North of Green Valley Parkway for that. I have enjoyed my stay here and I recommend the place all the time to my friends that are moving. read more

Do not live here! This place is infested with roaches. I lived on the second floor and had to move out because I have children and they can't be around so many bugs. I kept telling the leasing office but they have no concern for anyone's health or safety. My unit got broken into twice, still no concern for my safety. Gate was always broken, still no concern. (Dead)Rats in the common area, Bugs in the aprtment every night and morning that come in through missing weather stripping under the door, rental increases that are extreme from one leasing term to the next (like increases as much as $135.00/mo or more.) Renovations that happen while you're still living in the apartment!!! Staff rips off the community during their monthly community luncheons. Recently they've been telling the residents to come back 15 min's after the scheduled start time and when the residents enter, 2/3 of the food has already been eaten by the staff and their family members (NON community members btw) The last mgr would actually take large trays of food out the front door as residents were being let in!!! Taking them for her family before the residents had a chance to eat...the luncheons aren't for the community afterall I guess. The head maintenance guy talks to you like you're stupid and have no idea how to do repairs, treats people rudely and has an overall bad attitude. He also gossips like an old lady! (I've never known of a guy to stir up trouble like he does). They constantly fire the good repair guys because they want to do the job right and that costs money...so when you're actually doing your job like a reputable person would, you're soon gone. The property has cracked sidewalks and HUGE tree roots raised above the ground which are very hazardous. Also the wannabe gym is unsafe...the cables on the weight machine are missing the plastic coating causing the cables to slip off the pulleys while in use. Old dark and lonley is the best way to describe that room... New mgr doesn't know anything about leasing...this is her first leasing job,,,and she's a mgr?!?!? She came from 20+ yr's of restaurant experience!!!! Cant answer questions about simple leasing procedures...has to get back to you. Ripping off the elderly by highly increasing their rent upon renewal time and giving them 30 days to figure out how to meet the exorbitant rate increase or move out. And if you stay, be subjected to renovations while you're still living in the unit!!! That's what they're doing to the elderly there!!! Try getting out of the complex...the light at Horizon Ridge backs up traffic and nobody will let you out to get in the farthest lane to make a uturn so you can head the opposite direction down Green Valley. Frustration city. There are new construction apt complexes offering so much more and for the same price...Find one of them to call home. This place has roughly 15 empty units and losing more tenants every month with their new rental fees/increases. They won't negotiate with the current residents to keep them either and people are leaving in hoards...ALL the above statements are TRUE. read more

Terrible waterbugs everyday. Constant issues with things in the apartment breaking. Staff was horrible

At its best, I would rate this place a solid 4 or 5 stars. Right now, it's a solid 2-3. I will update this review if anything changes. First, there's a dad and his son who consistently visit the pool to blast extremely loud death metal. He lets his son spray whoever he wants with water. He'll also let him dump water on your belongings. No "sorry". Nothing done to stop the behavior. I've even seen the dad splash people before. Thanks dude - can't visit the pool or spa anymore. I would report him to the office if there was anything that could be done, but there's not. Second, the apartment gym has been locked for over a week. They had someone rekey the doors, but they messed up and now the resident keys no longer work. Nothing is being done about this at the moment. Third, they just changed the utilities so that a third party mails us a bill. Yet the bill is the same amount every month, and the payment is to be made with the same rent check. So essentially every resident is paying $10/month to receive a useless bill in the mail, that is the same dollar amount every month, and is to be paid directly to the apartment office. Great system. Fourth, the front gate needs to be opened by card, and yet when my roommates card broke about 1 year ago they refused to do anything. They said "we don't really do cards any more". Yet 1 year later, everyone else is still using their cards to open the gate. Ours is still broken. Fifth, we were promised apartment upgrades in order to soften the $100+ rent increase they did last year. Never got em. Asked several times for them to do them. Nothing! Right now I would recommend staying away from this place. Again though, I will update if anything changes. read more

I just moved out Nov 2017, rent kept going up, we had been great tenants, paid rent on time every month for 2 1/2 years, looking forward to getting a least half our deposit back due to no holes in the wall, no picture hung, carpet taken care of, and sadly they took all our deposit except for 40.00 due to carpet, that had one burn in it. Stay away! The apartments may appear beautiful, and they are, but the office staff is terrible! If you look at reviews on different websites, you will see their highest rating is a 2.5 out of 5, and for good reason. I am writing this as I sit in a 90 degree apartment in the middle of July. Maintenance is terrible; often times, your orders for them to come are dropped. You will get attitude every time you call for something. I hate this place so much. Rent is high, and you will expect it to be when you see how nice the apartment is, but when you start getting nasty letters (sent out to all tenants) reminding you of community rules, and your requests for maitnence go ignored or I prioritized, you will start to understand why everyone hates living here. Honestly, I should have known living here would be like this when the woman who shied me the apartment and seemed enthusiastic on our tour became a megab*** during our walk through the day I got my keys. PLEASE avoid this place, or at least ask someone in the office about all of the negative reviews you will find on this place, and ask them what they are doing to change their negative image. read more

I've lived here in total 2 years never had a problem before but the new management of the complex is doing renovations to make the place look more appealing. They had my car towed without any notification as to them repainting the parking spots. If there was any notice for me to move my car for any reason I would have. When brought up to the office they said there's nothing we can do for you. So I'm out $300+ because they couldn't look on their computer as to which unit the car belonged to and notify me. Not suitable for human habitation. Roaches, water leaks, and mold in every apartment. Rent is way too high for such deplorable conditions. I asked them to spray for the roach problem every week, only to wake up to no less than 7 dead roaches every day. There was a live one inside the washer on top of my newly washed clothes, they scale the dining room walls and bathrooms at night, several have been found in the dishes in the kitchen cabinets. I can no longer use the kitchen. Every neighbor has them too, one told me to use Borax which does seem to help. The office told me to just stop spraying because the live ones will run away. The shower has a steady build up of mold despite scrubbing with bleach every day, it just keeps growing back. This place is old, poorly built and has no ventilation. They now require renters insurance because the place is falling apart. That is on top of the other fees they charge. The upstairs hot water heater leaked and the wall above the sliding glass door fell apart. After 9 months of complaining they finally fixed it. Every time it rains it leaks so bad the carpet is drenched so I had to sleep with extremely loud blowers to dry the carpet. When I asked for a discount on rent so I could get a hotel room so my son could sleep I was laughed at. I can not get out of this moldy, roach infested slum fast enough! read more
