Fun, informative, tasty pastries, all part of a great family experience. The maze was very interesting, full of riddles and a challenge if you are not familiar with riddles. My grandson and I had a blast, shifting direction responsibilities back and forth. This added some extra time which we spent spent laughing about dead ends and circles. Too fun. Learned about sheep and why most US lamb tastes so bad to me. The Cress Creek Farm lamb has hair not wool. This difference makes the meat taste better. The visit to the lamb babies was so fun for our three grandchildren. They could pet the baby lambs and feed the adult mothers. We did not bring our coolers. We are already planning our next trip SOON so we can purchase their lamb. Consider bringing your coolers because the Cress Creek lamb does not taste gamey. read more

Found by chance on my last day in the area, and so glad to have stopped by! We had a great tour and held some baby lambs, fed the mom sheep, played with kittens- honestly the best way I could imagine to end my trip! They are super friendly and looking forward to the treats made by the pasty chef who also runs the store. I would def come back and even consider getting my Thanksgiving turkey this year from such a nice farm. read more

Such an amazing family experience!!!! We fed animals and walked through a corn maze, while waiting to get on the tractor. They had a barrel train for kids and then we rode the tractor to the sheep. They let us pet and feed the baby sheep. It's an amazing experience for the whole family!!!!! read more

We thoroughly enjoyed Farmer Lee's hay ride tour of Cress Creeks Farm where we saw baby sheep, ostriches, chickens and kittens. The store has plenty of fresh and homemade pastries and desserts along with meats and cheeses all sourced from the farm or local near by. Good for families, couples and groups. Would highly recommend and looking forward to revisiting soon. There will be a corn maze in a couple weeks. read more

I had seen this farm all over my Instagram so my husband decided it was worth a trip! We drove over an hour and were able to find the farm with no issues! Lots of signs showing where to locate it! Parking can get filled quick but there was some when we arrived! We took a look outside and saw some sheep, turkeys and ducks wandering about. We entered the shop and were immediately greeted by Mindy. She was so nice and informative when we had questions about their products and what she recommended. We really enjoyed looking around and taking a look at each and every item. We got some corn, sheep cheese, lamb meat, homemade short bread and chocolate chip cookies, lemonade, crochet sheep keychain, honey sticks and feed for the sheep! Everything was reasonably priced and we bought a lot! We went over to feed the sheep named Cocoa and he was so friendly! The turkeys were also super cute as well! I was also able to feed the roosters as they came over for their fill. Overall, it was well worth the drive and we were informed of events that they host so we for sure we will be back for that and lamb tours! read more

Cute place but call ahead if you want to do the corn field maze. We drove up to the farm and the maze looked very pitiful. They explained a storm (maybe Helene) had come through and reeked havoc on the corn field so there really wasn't a maze to go thru. However, they have hayrides and one of the hayrides a baby lamb can be held by the kids. The young gentleman working in the store was very nice and explained the farm and products offered. We will try the maze next year when we are in town again. read more

We had an AMAZING experience at Cress Creek. We chose to do the corn maze and the lamb hayride and am so glad we did. I learned so much about raising lamb and sheep and farming in general. Hayden was our "tour guide"....turns out, he's a LOT more. The day we were there, 2 lambs were born within an hour before we got back there so we got to see brand new ones. I also got to hold a darling lamb that was about a week old. This place is so impressive and their origin story is wonderful. Mad props to them for taking the leap of faith to do this. The Corn Maze was fun....and I am a grandma (but no kid with me on this trip)....it was just fun to do something so simple, wholesome, and gave us a great "excuse" to be outside in the beautiful weather. Their store is also lovely and the had specialty drinks for the fall season....chef's kiss! Truly, such a wonderful day....I highly, highly recommend it. read more

Went to Cress Farms for the Easter egg hunt, it was amazing. Got to see baby ducks, pet, the sheep. They supplied plenty of eggs for the little ones for the egg hunt. It was a great fun for family and friends. The store was amazing everything you need to see from a farm store is there, and they're very polite and welcoming. Totally would recommend!!! read more
