Parking: Near entrance, gets filled up quickly! Cost: $16 gallon bucket plus $1 per person Things to do: There is a play area for kids which is a separate fee. The strawberries are very juicy and ripe! You MUST go when it opens! We got there at 10am when it opens and there was already a line forming so it is even safe to say come earlier and stand in line. Once the ripe ones are picked, they close. Definitely call ahead or follow them on social media for updates on that! They do not let you eat strawberries on the farm...not sure why it's a COVID/CDC thing so that is tough with a 1 year old who is obsessed with strawberries. If you're looking for a small farm to pick fruit at, here's one! We went for strawberry picking because mercier was picked out. This is a smaller farm than some of those up in blue ridge but cute. They have a small store and a few different areas for strawberry picking. I don't know if they do other fruits but I saw lots of strawberry fields there. They also sell some products in their little store like convenience items They have plenty of parking It may be a bit of a walk down the road for the picking. Pretty farm, cute little area They don't let you eat the berries as you pick like other farms I've been to do ... Which I'm not sure if that's a covid rule or all the time. You can buy a half gallon or a gallon & can share one per 2 people. They also give out tickets when you're in line to buy your u pick bucket & you gotta have a ticket to buy the bucket. This is a good place for the kids, especially in the fall when they can enjoy the weather and the pumpkins. There are several entertaining areas including a walk-through corn stalk maze, hey ride ( yes, hey, not hay) through the farm, slides made of huge drain pipes, a giant jumping bag thing ( I don't know what its called... lol), a goat petting and feeding area, a small souvenir shop, a snack shack with shaded seating areas, and of course plenty of pumpkins for sale. It's mostly very rudimentary, but the fun of it all is still there. I may not be going back, but I'm happy I did so at least this one time. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with our visit. We brought our family that was on vacation to enjoy a day of strawberry picking, and instead were met with rudeness. We paid for three gallon sized baskets for the kids and they excitedly picked strawberries up until we were leaving. They grabbed a couple more on their way back to bring to our baskets where the parents were sitting, only for them to be yelled at by an employee, accusing them of stealing. She then followed them to the table with her young daughter, to raise her voice at us and accuse us of "stealing" for them having a small handful, saying that we were stealing. It was completely inappropriate, especially considering we had already paid, for her to speak to us in that matter and insult us. We explained that we were doing nothing wrong and that the strawberries were going into the baskets, so she then made her way inside to get the owner. She made us purchase another basket for merely a couple berries that would've fit in the baskets we already purchased. We were so upset and disrespected, we paid for the basket and left it there at the register with the owner. Accusing young children who are simply having fun of "stealing" over a few strawberries they were bringing to the picnic tables off the field is not only unprofessional, it's insulting. It completely ruined what was supposed to be a wholesome family outing. We won't be coming back. read more

Went with a kindergarten and first grade Oct 18, 2023 preplanned trip; staff was unorganized at arrival; hayride driver drove so FAST he was endangering the small children!!!. Staff were rude and more focused on moving us "along" communicating via texts while we were busy chaperoning the children! Petting area denied because we missed a TEXT despite NO group waiting behind us. Lastly despite knowing the number of children attending, the lunch pavilion was missing seats and tables for at least 25 of us. (our group was over 60) This was a Wednesday trip planned over a month in advance!!! They sell tickets and collect money but they don't guide any further instructions (the entrance, gates, strawberry picking area or blackberry picking area because it's in another place. My boys love strawberries and cannot get enough when I buy them from the store. We went to Warbington on a Thursday (we've gone on a Saturday before as well) and the weather was perfect. My boys loved picking and trying as we went down the row of berries. I have picked strawberries in south Fulton and I have to say, Warbington was SO MUCH CLEANER than the other place I went to. It was not back-breaking as I had anticipated and went relatively quickly, as there were so many perfectly large berries to pick and put into our basket (that you get to keep). If you can go on a Saturday or Sunday, you'll have a much better time than going on a weekday. On the weekend you can do the "Hey ride" and go see the cows and the kids get to watch the cows be fed (my oldest LOVED this). You get right up and personal as the cows eat-- it's pretty awesome. The petting zoo has a ton of animals and you may get lucky enough for the baby chicks and bunnies. You'll want to have some quarters for food for the animals. If you go during the weekend, bring some money for their freshly made strawberry ice cream. DEEEEELICIOUS!!! Unfortunately, none of those things happen during the week. Had I never gone on a weekend, I would have been VERY disappointed with the experience. The price WAS adjusted during the week (adults were $2 instead of $5) but we still paid money for a less than awesome experience. Kids are $8 and our $8 for my oldest was for him to run across their giant field and play on the slides, the playset, and their jump house (that gets REALLY hot in the summer). Just meh. The best thing about this farm was the very friendly staff. Probably because we are at the end of strawberry season but there was virtually no strawberries in the fields. Lots of half rotten berries. Their system is also extremely inefficient. You park, walk to the opposite side to pay ahead of time, which we couldn't even fill our buckets since there was simply no berries to pick so we paid $16 for half buckets which is ridiculous...then go to the other side of the road to try to find some berries. It took so long to find berries the kids were worn out and didn't want to go to the play area...we won't visit again. read more

Rude. Stay away! Owner of the farm who was driving around in a tractor yelled at our kids - ages 5 and 6 - for eating strawberries on the field, prompting them to ask why he is being so mean to them immediately afterwards and in the car ride home. Extremely crude and rude. We don't even discipline our kids that way. It's 2022; not 1962. He then says that if everyone were to eat the berries in the field, the CDC - yes, the CDC!! - will shut him down. Now, everyone knows strawberry farms and private enterprises are under the jurisdiction of the CIA , FBI, and the GDOT. LOL CDC. Brought up the issue with a staff member only to be shrugged off. So, good job - keep yelling at small children and don't let the Center for Disease Control shut you down. And stay in school, everyone. First of all any business is a customer service. This farm is pro profit only and absolutely not for getting good memories about picking up strawberries: they don't have flexible hours and create crowds because they must open at 10: 00 sharp. I guess, CDC recommends to be 6 ft apart. At this farm the CDC regulations are treated accordingly: if you bring your bucket your strawberries will bruise, don't eat strawberries because you will get Covid and you must leave without refunds. The cost of strawberries is also high: they sell a gallon for $15.95 +$1 per person. The farm is also dirty, bags of garbage, cardboards, etc. I guess when you squeeze as much as you can from farm you too busy to take care of other things. read more

When I was checking this farm out online they have a sign that says they will close early if all the strawberries are picked. So I called ahead to make sure the farm wasn't closed since my group and I were driving an hour to the farm. The lady on the phone informed me that they were open and that it would take 30 minutes to pick the strawberries as the season was coming to a close. It cost $14 for a gallon which is kind of pricey, but you're paying for the experience and memory so I believe it's worth it. After arriving and picking our strawberries, my group headed back in to cool off. The ladies were incredibly nice as I got a little sick from all the heat and they provided water. We ended up buying their homemade ice cream which was about $3 and got on the road. This is a lovely place to visit if you're looking to spend quality time with friends, family, etc. read more

We all came here for a family visit with our two kids, as my honey had been here before and mentioned you could feed the animals and they had lots of things for kids to do. So, start with the good. There was ample parking and the lines weren't too long. There was also no pay to park, which helped too. Food pricing there was very cheap (typical food you'd expect: hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork, chips, candy, snow cones, etc). They also take credit/debit cards. Everything is pretty close together so there isn't too much walking. The kids enjoyed the three bounce houses and the sand pit plus the long slide. The staff were friendly too. So, that was the good. The bad - pricing was a little too much for what they had. I spent the $60 on all 4 of us to do corn maize, hayride and playground. The adult price was cheaper, and they had options to do one or the other but I suckered myself into doing it all. The playground was a wash, didn't need that for myself. The corn maize wasn't anything special. The hayride wasn't all that exciting (we got to watch them feed the cows). Feeding the goats was fun but trying to find quarters for their feeding machine and then not getting much to feed the animals made that part go really fast. They also, from what I saw, didn't have a store there for homemade goodies like the apple farms up in Elijay. There are a couple observations I made on the trip that would have saved us money, and if we go back, I know exactly how to save at least $40 alone on the visit. This wasn't one of my favorite pumpkin patches I've been to but honestly, it's more for the kids than adults. I'm not sure we'll be back but worth a visit if you're close by. read more

The backpack policy at the Warbington Farms is ridiculous. After I paid for the tickets, the lady told me that backpack is not allowed in the field and asked me to put my backpack on a table (no security is nearby) outside of the strawberry field. My backpack holds water bottle, cell phone, key, wallet...etc. There is NO WAY I would leave my personal belongings outside of the field unattended ever! The farm doesn't care if the family's backpack got stolen. They don't care if the family could be suffered from identity theft if their phone got stolen and hacked. They only care about $$$. Instead of the absurd backpack policy, they should hire more security and patrol around the field instead. Besides, they never publish about backpack policy on their facebook page and official web site. If I know about backpack policy in advance, I could wear fanny pack instead. We went to the field next to the fun playground. There are a few ripe strawberries to pick. If there are not enough ripe strawberries, the business should not sell the tickets at all. Finally, the concession food is poor. The typical concession stand is closed. We had to go inside the store to buy food. I paid $4 for PBJ. It's just 2 small pieces of bread with some peanut butter. What a ripe off. Too much greed, rude employees and poor communication (about backpack policy). I won't go back to that farm ever again. There are lots of other farms (uncle shucks, mercier orchards....etc.) in north georgia anyway. read more

We visited yesterday to pick strawberries with our almost 2 year old and she had fun exploring the rows of berries, but we spent more time in the playground farm area. Yes, there is not a lot, but she had the time of her life simply running around and exploring. She loved the slides and the corn crib and the sandbox. We joked that we would come to the farm more often to wear her out. It was just $10 since she is so young, but we feel it was 100% worth the money. This was a fantastic and easy day trip from Smyrna - about an hour away. Our boys (3 and 1) loved picking strawberries, the immense play area for kids, feeding the goats, and the corn crib! The pillow trampoline was fun for all of us!! We'll go earlier when we come back in the fall so they can spend more tine there. It was an awesome family day! You can eat there (burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, etc.) or there are several fast food places about 5 minutes away. The restrooms are immaculate and there are several shaded places to cool off. I really want to love this place. I really want the small family farms to succeed. I want Forsyth County to be a destination for agrotourism. But I can't love this place. It pains me to give them only two stars. But they deserve only two. Firstly, the berries were not amazing. Other farms where I have picked my own grew these phenomenal berries. If I'm going to do the back breaking work of picking my own berries, I need to get some berries that are going to blow my hair back. Second, the staff was confrontational. I get it: they want people to pick a row clean. Instead of forcing everyone to work one row, try giving us a zone. Then the staff doesn't have to scold patrons so frequently. The farm had another area with a bouncy house and a few other items of entertainment. However, it was going to cost my little family $20 to enjoy it. That price was too steep and we settled for just berries. Now a word on berry picking: it's hard work. Really. Don't go if you don't want to squat down for a few hours and poke around in a strawberry plant. If you just want to stand there and yell at your kids while they complain about how miserable they are, do that at home. read more

There are plenty of better options out there for strawberry picking locally in North GA. This place is a bit pricey for a 1 gallon bucket of strawberries. I could buy larger, juicier, and cleaner (they spray the strawberries with unnecessary pesticide) strawberries at Costco for a little over $6.00 for about 6 gallons. This place charges you 12.00 for one bucket of tiny strawberries. Also, they aren't friendly at all. Any questions you might have, you might as well disregard them. The owner is rude, and not very trust-worthy. They close all of the lanes until EVERY OTHER STRAWBERRY IS PICKED. If you jump lanes, they choose to complain to you, explaining that they want everyone in the same area, and for all of the strawberries to be picked. I heard lots of grumbling as I was picking my strawberries, so I'm not the only one upset. This was an utter disaster. read more

Don't come on Fridays. The staff here is inconsiderate and gives preference to schools over regular paying customers. We were forced to wait at least 4 tractors before they would let us go on the hayride, giving preference to school groups that weren't waiting. My two year old didn't understand and was upset each time she couldn't go. It was a frustrating experience. They should either close down on Fridays during the time frame the schools are there or come up with a better way to accommodate both groups by alternating. We were paying customers, too, and should be treated equally. We won't be returning. read more

I wish that they had smaller baskets since I is hard for 2 littlle kids to share and 1 full basket holds more than enough strawberries. My kids both loved the pony rides. My daughter enjoyed picking strawberries today but, with all the other farms around here, we would not go back to Warbington. The staff is extremely unfriendly & unprepared. When we got there a few minutes before opening, it wasn't clear where to go at all. There's no signage anywhere. So we went where there was a line of other people who thought they were waiting in line to pay for buckets to pick strawberries. We could do that there, but found out after 45 minutes that it was really the line for their fun park, & that the line just for strawberries was much shorter, across the road, where nothing even says the name of their farm. While picking, we saw the owners get onto kids for picking in a field that "wasn't open." Again, no signs. No instruction given. They told the parents they had their buckets too full & would have to come dump them & pay for more. If they want to have these rules, that's fine, but they need to be posted somewhere if they want people to abide by them. Not quite sure how they've been in business for so long when this is the kind of experience they offer. read more

The free pumpkin patch was good to take a picture at. My son picked a small pumpkin at a decent price. But for admission and the festival itself, it was a regretful time. After paying $3 admission fee for each adult and $7 for child, everything but the inflatables and slides were $5 each. Maybe I was expecting it to be covered by admission and that could've been my fault. But the events weren't even that great and there wasn't even that much. Pony ride, face painting, feeding animals, tractor ride, and two inflatables and two slides and a small playground. Not worth the drive or money. Won't be going back. read more

The strawberry picking is so-so. They are extremely strict about people not jumping lanes (they tell you "oh, you can't be in this lane, we are about to spray it, which couldn't be further from the truth), which I can certainly understand, as they want to minimize waste. At the same time, if they want every last strawberry picked from each lane, they should just hire their farm workers and not open the lanes up to the public. It's otherwise not all that much fun for the kids to be examining strawberry lanes that have been pretty much picked clean. They have a small kids area, which costs an additional $8 per child over 2 years old (2 and under is free) and $5 per adult. There isn't all that much to do there, however. Overall, I'd say that there are much better local choices out there. read more

So disappointed. The "petting zoo" was JUST goats. There were no chicks or rabbits or anything else to pet. There were no inflatables as we had read about. The corn maze was ok, but could have been so much more. There were pumpkins in the "to pick" area that were busted or rotten. The "hey" ride was probably the best because the grumpy man driving the tractor was ticked off he had to take us out and speed threw the course, which gave us the ride of our lives. We love this place! I've been 3xs with my kids now in the last year and have really enjoyed it each time. They've even added a few new features that were great -a new tire yard playground and an obstacle course my young kids loved. I like the flat rate for everything versus paying for every individual feature like some other farms. The giant jumpy pad is always a hit even with the adults and my kids love feeding the goats. The "hey ride" while not a real hay ride is still enjoyable. They drive you out to the middle of a big cow pasture and let you feed the cows. My kids have so much fun which is what matters to me. I think this place is awesome for families with small children. Kids 10 and up might be a little bored but for young ones it's perfect. Not too big and not too small. We normally always go to Cagles, but they closed down. So we ventured out to this place. $30 for two adult and one child. No Pumpkin patch, just some pumpkins piled together in a open space. The corn maze was mediocre, nothing fun or exciting. No riddles, nothing. The big bounce pillow was fun. Then you get to the petting zoo, they didn't let you in because the girls shift was over and they had no one to man the petting zoo. So we tried the hayride, oh my word! It was a tractor and some hay going into a scenic part of the farm. You got to feed the cows and turn back around and go back to the farm. No more than 5 minutes! It was a complete joke! Now everyone knows that any good Pumpkin patch worth its salt should have Funnel cake! Well this one sold out of Funnel Cake at 1:00?? Oh how I miss Cagles! This place is a joke! read more

We took our first trip to Warbington Farms today and loved it! Free parking, $10 to get in for adults and kids, under 3 get in free. The price was well worth it. Once you pay admission everything is included unless you buy food or use the quarter machines to feed the animals. We loved the "hey" ride (no actual hay). We rode out in a nice covered trailer and got to help feed the cows. It goes less frequent than a normal hay ride since they feed. It seems like it was about every 1 1/2 hours. The kangaroo jump was awesome. Our girls loved it. There are lots of play areas, a corn pit, slides, corn maze, huge sand box, and a petting zoo. There is a concession stand, and the food is decent and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and get their homemade strawberry ice cream. Yum!! The only down side was porta potties. :( But they are building real bathrooms that should be finished soon. It's a huge farm. Our kids ran themselves silly. It was worth the drive and the price of admission. We will definitely be going back. read more
