I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and it was a really good experience and I would definitely recommend. The primary reason we chose this hotel is because it was a pretty fair price and in a good location (about a 10-15 min drive from everything, 30 min walk). Some of the reviews were not super promising, but I did not experience any of the complaints some people had brought up. Check in: Check in was very easy. There was an option to do it ahead of time on your phone or you can do it once you arrive in person. They didn't check my ID which was kind of weird but they have you put in your information to get your room keys and you can also keep your card on file for any room service & the restaurant in the hotel. Hotel room: They upgraded our room for no additional cost when we got there. We had a queen bed, TV, desk area, multiple chairs, microwave, mini fridge, full closet, spacious bathroom & a really good view. Hotel restaurant: We went here for the bar but quickly left after seeing how expensive everything was and the limited options. Their menu was also very limited for food and felt like they didn't have any "normal" things to order. Extra: They had a few lounge areas and also offered complimentary tea, coffee & plastic water bottle stations to fill water and bring to your room. Complaints: The elevators took absolutely forever and we felt extremely lightheaded every time we got on. The hallways and our room was a million degrees that we had to keep the air on the entire time we were there. We called room service a few different times at different hours but never got through to anyone. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend to others. Stayed there for a few days last week. MY biggest complaint was that bathroom smelled musty, and the door didn't close properly. Every time they came to clean it just smelled worse! The TV was also completely purple, although I wasn't there to watch TV. The bar was supposedly open until 10:00, but we were turned away at 9:00 because they'd already done last call. read more

My friend and I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference nearby, and overall, I had a very pleasant experience! There were a few downsides, but the positives definitely outweighed them. Firstly, we were disappointed that the rooftop restaurant and club, View of the World Terrace Club, was closed until next year - such a bummer because we were really looking forward to the views. However, the rest of our stay made up for it. The hotel has a gym, and while I didn't check out all of them (apparently, they have more than one, according to my friend), the one we used was solid. It had a bit of everything you'd need for a good workout. Plus, the refillable water bottles were a nice touch - super convenient and eco-friendly! :) Our room was decent, though on the smaller side, which didn't bother me since we traveled light with only backpacks. We had a great view, so no complaints there! I do wish they had a mini-fridge, though! I had some lunch leftovers I wanted to save, and that was a bit of a letdown. Another con is probably their hallways. Very maze-like and I got lost. Biggest tip would be to read the signs and you're be okay. The lobby deserves a special mention - it was a lifesaver. They offer free tea, coffee, and lattes (perfect since I was working and definitely made use of it!), and they even have a printer, which absolutely saved me when I needed a few last-minute documents. Checking in early was no problem at all (we arrived about 1 hour and 45 minutes before check-in), and the front desk staff were helpful and welcoming. The instant service phones located in the rooms and hallways were also super convenient. It's great being able to connect with them instantly for anything we needed. I'm not sure where any negative reviews come from, as my experience was overwhelmingly positive. Location location! Parking is terrible but that's NY! check in was smooth. We were given our room and key.. made our way up to SOMEONE ELSES ROOM and as I slipped in my key, they were " getting busy" lol. As all of us jumped in surprise I showed the embarrassed woman my room key with her room number. My husband, daughter and myself quickly went to the front desk. They really felt bad. We were given another room on the top floor overlooking the twin tower memorial which was AMAZING! Floor to ceiling windows and a large double opening window. It was beautiful. It was worth seeing the escapades in the first room. The hallways are very narrow but THATS NY! We visited the rooftop bar and it did not disappoint. We had a great view and The staff is great! We had nothing but good experiences with the staff. They have a coffee machine for espresso, lattes or regular coffee at all hours of the day and the coffee bar is always neat and clean. They also have tea and hot water available. We thought we were lucky when we received an upgrade to a king superior room from a king standard. We were not lucky, the air conditioning wasn't cooling the room down. The thermostat was set at 68 degrees and wouldn't go any lower but felt like it was mid 70s in our room at all times. The land line phone in the room didn't work and there were carpet staples sticking up a little near the seams between the carpet and the tile. For the money we spent on this room, I probably will not stay here again. read more

Executive summary: overpriced and not worth it! I was in NYC for work and decided to stay at this hotel. Big mistake. The room was old and tired, furniture looked ancient and the bed was made as if a toddler tried to make their own crib. See photos for evidence; the under sheet didn't even cover the bed! The room is in desperate need of updating. Oh, I asked for a high floor room; was given 2nd floor with a view of a wall! They have an electronic concierge, which is essentially an one-way communication (see text exchange). They are bombarding you with texts, but no one responds to requests or feedback. My trip with a cousin and a nephew to NYC last March was for me, a sentimental journey. My cousin booked this hotel without knowing that I had not visited the 911 memorial since it was the gated-off Ground Zero in ashes. She got a room on the 8th floor which had a very good view of the memorial. This hotel is right there, a stone's throw away from the memorial, and on an early Sunday morning before heading to church, I walked to it. Words cannot fully describe the emotions that welled up in me walking around, taking in the quiet water sounds, reading names and looking for Todd Beamer's. The hotel itself is very chic and adorable. Hallways are tiny, like in Tokyo. I loved the water stations where empty water bottles are provided, as well as filtered water. It is definitely a boutique hotel with fashionable and friendly front desk staff. There's a penthouse restaurant, too. The suite room itself was efficiently designed, using space well, like in Japan. Classy appointments - two sinks, both with granite countertops, L-shaped desk with outlets is like a room divider, floor-to-ceiling windows with heavy drapery, mini kitchenette, shower only (no tub) bathroom, two large closets, separate living room that has a pullout sofa, the window of which faces the memorial view with the tower. I have already told my husband I want to stay there with him next time! read more

This hotel is a "boutique" style hotel. The rooms are very small...by far the smallest room I ever stayed at. For a couple to stay in this room would be a tight fit. They also don't make up your room unless you request it. This hotel had no restaurant but there were a lot of restaurants and stores near by that you can walk to. In the lobby, there was a "ATM" type machine where you can order a taxi ride...which was pretty convenient. This hotel is all about being near the 9-11 Memorial/Museum and the One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) in the heart of Manhattan. 5 stars all the way! This hotel blew me away. It had everything I needed. Check in was swift and staff were efficient and friendly. This hotel is in pristine condition and is beautiful even down to the hallways leading to the rooms. I must say they have all the proper protocols in place to deal with covid which was great to see. I stayed in the superior room with kitchenette and microwave. My room was pretty much a suite. I even had a living room space. The bed was the most comfortable mattress I have slept on inside of a hotel in a long time. I just melted into it. The best part was the incredible view of the world trade center right across the street! The room had a door that opened into a slight balcony. I couldn't stop oogling over the incredible view I had. The mattress had an enormous sinkhole in its center the size of my torso. My sister and I both sunk in so deeply to the middle that neither of slept well the night before our half marathon. We discovered the divet at 10 PM and decided against changing rooms since it was so late and we had to wake up early, and that was a huge mistake since neither of us got restful sleep. We only chose to stay here as a convenient, safe place to sleep, and unfortunately it did not provide that, and we can't recommend it to anyone. We had to wait 30 minutes after the check in (15:00) to get the room. The answer from team club quarters that the check in at 15:00 isn't guaranteed. In their website and their policy indicates 15:00 check in, it doesn't indicate that hours may vary. Front desk didn't even apologize for the delay. The room had dirty soap in the bathroom, socks from old guests under the bed. I was traveling with my toddler and we stayed in the 6 floor and the lock for window door wasn't working at all. So I had to put the chair in front door of it so I can take a shower without worry. Marlene (I believe was her name) in the front desk isn't welcoming and her body language is even disrespectful. I wouldn't stay here again. Good location but there are more better hotels around. read more

Friendly staff and great view! I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to NYC and this hotel was wonderful. My only complaint would be that the neighboring rooms were very loud. Otherwise the room was clean, bed was comfortable, tv was nice and the shower was nice and warm. Overall 5/5 stars and would love to stay here again in the future, though the prices have gone up since my last stay (04/21/2021-04/24/2021) it has gone up around $200 more for the whole trip compared to last trip. read more

This is my go to hotel when I'm staying in Lower Manhattan. The rooms are small but that is standard for what you'll find in NY. It's a perfect location for when you want to still be able to go to all the touristy spots but don't want to stay in the craziness of midtown. Plus it's right across from One World Trade Center. There is a restaurant inside. On my last night I stopped there for a couple appetizers and one drink and while there met some great people at the bar and ended up staying for dinner. The food was actually really good. If you're looking for a fancy hotel while in NY, this isn't it. But it's clean, close to the subway, easy walk to Brooklyn Bridge and seems to be a safe location. I have stayed here by myself and walked throughout the area. NYPD command station is right next door. read more

Well, if you love seeing rats running around, this is the place for you. Hotel is overpriced, and it seems that the cheaper rooms have microwaves, while the more expensive ones have NO microwave. How silly is that? Then, the hallways and elevators were way too warm. No air conditioning whatsoever. The tv had a mind of its own. Works when it wants to. Same with the thermostat. Staff is nice and friendly, so it's not their fault the hotel is crap. No complimentary breakfast even though your room cost about a thousand bucks for only 2 nights. Nice location, but if you're outside smoking, vaping, etc., you're guaranteed to see several huge rats running around. If I wanna see rats, I can just rent rooms at a Roach Motel in the ghetto. I booked this hotel through hotwire on a week that there was a hotel price surge in NYC because of a big UN event, I am so happy and satisfied I ended up staying at the WTC Hotel for 3 days! For the location, amenities, and service, I think it was a great deal. While my room was a little small, I was on the 16th floor and had a great view of the surrounding skyscrapers. My room came with a kitchenette included and I think such room would accommodate to anybody on business for several days or weeks (you can even push the bed up to the wall if you want more space in the room or want to work out). The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I loved the complimentary wine offered from 5-6, I recommend the Long Island red dry wine. You can also help yourself to snacks (banana chips, fancy chex mix, wasabi peas), wine, and other drinks (tea, coffee, canned sodas and Seltzer water) in the lobby. There is also cold filtered water and water bottles on every floor. The hotel also provides complimentary checked luggage if you have to step out of the hotel before or after your stay. The terrace view of this hotel is beautiful, especially at night. You'll get a view of the Hudson river, the One World Trade Center, and you can enjoy a drink from the bar on this floor as well. This hotel is near a couple of train stations so it is a great spot for a business trip. I have no complaints, I would book here again. read more

Nice budget hotel in Manhattan. You get what you pay for. We spent 2 nights here and it was fine. The staff wasn't overly helpful. Do not use the text message option for requesting assistance. You won't get any. The room wasn't particularly clean; I went over everything with disinfectant wipes. There were greasy handprints on the pleather headboard. Fingerprints on metal door handles. We had requested a sofa bed, which was available. However, the sheets were not in the room. The desk lamp was broken. The Wifi was quick to connect and fast/reliable. Thought it was kind of expensive for the room we got, it was alright but nothing great, felt a little dated for $315 a night. The mini fridge froze everything no matter the temperature we set it to, they originally gave us only 2 pillows to share and I had to ask for 2 more, rooms were only cleaned by request (we were here for a week), on the first day I told them my sink was backed up and they never sent maintenance to fix it the whole week I was there. Overall it was an okay experience but lacked some things you'd expect from even a normal holiday inn or something. My doors did open up almost like a balcony but without a balcony which was kind of cool since my room had a view of freedom tower. Overall 6/10 experience for me. read more

First, I feel sorry for several nice staff there. These two stars are for them. My complaints are: 1. The front desk middle-age lady is not welcoming or helpful. I don't know why she is at this position because she is absolutely bad at it. She does not greet people. When my friend has issues checking in, all she gives is attitude instead of helping. 2. This was an excellent choice for a hotel. All of the staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean and in an outstanding location. The purified water bottle stations were a great accommodation. I stayed in a suite and there was plenty of room for me and my daughter. The restaurant was still not open but there was room service from a nearby restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. My only complaint was the lack of sufficient towels. I had to repeatedly ask them for enough for my entire stay. Overall, I would love to stay here again. read more

WORST check-in service ever! They don't even deserve one star! Checked in on 10/18 Friday night, the staff at the check in counter was inpatient and slow. Kept us waiting til we need to use the check in machine and there were only 2 persons in line in front of us! Machine was doing the better job. Then when we need to get our luggages from the front desk on 10/21 Monday around 3pm, the female staff said it will take 15 mins to get by it, the two female staffs were either chatting with the policeman or checking their personal cellphone; 15 mins after I asked, she told me they should be here shortly. Another 15 mins passed, I asked again and told her we got a flight to catch, can she check again, then FINALLY she went to ask someone, another 10 mins later the staff who handled the luggage found ours on the other side of the counter and he said: there've been there long time ago, and the check in staff didn't even check the whole time???!!!! There were also other upset clients in the lobby! We spent $800 + resort fee $65 for 4 nites for this???!!!! The resort fee sucks! DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL if you are traveling in NYC, it's going to ruin your vacation mood. read more

I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. I made a last minute booking online through hotels.com and was not sure what to expect. I was moreeee than pleasantly surprised. Although this hotel is hidden away in the lower financial district of NYC it's well worth it. All the front desk employees were polite, welcoming and professional. Heads up- take the subway, I had at least 8 taxis drive off once I said where I was going. After trying to beg taxi drivers for 30 mins in the cold I decided to brave it on the subway with a small luggage bag and small duffle bag. I used the subway app, took one train and only 4 stops from GrandCentral. The train stop was only 4 blocks from the hotel! The cliental is great also- mostly professionals traveling for work, or New Yorkers. Morton's Restaurant is right next door, there is also a bar and restaurant on the top floors (I didn't make it to either since I had dinner plans) Rooms- 1 queen size bed room. It was a small room but still amazing. Had everything you need plus a microwave, stove, cooking supplies (pots,pans,silverware...) every single inch of that room was designed to perfection. Loveeeeed it. The minute I walked in I said - ugh I would stay here allll weekend (I only needed to stay 1night). Had a staycation with a buddy of mine and we got a Superior Room with a view. The view of brookfield place and the whole landscape with the nearby Hudson was terrific with the balcony like doors. Check in was seamless, check in staff, security, and housekeeping were are all lovely, only a call away or available at the desk 24/7. The only thing is the elevators can stall between floors a bit but otherwise great view of the city in the terraces (enclosed & open rooftop). Uber eats and deliveries are easy to receive. Its all good nice and clean. Amazing waiting area to grab tea, coffee, still and sparkling water. Easy to walk and hail a uber. Nearby is the occulus so you can grab a train. Super cozy feel all throughout. Steakhouse is downstairs. Great temp stat and clean rooms with a streamlined design and a chilled bottling water station on whichever floor you are staying on. Disappointed with this place. While safe and clean, we got assigned a room without a view of the freedom tower, only a view to the police operations. Hard to believe that there are no rooms with a view available. Somehow we got assigned an accessible room, never mind that neither of us are handicapped. The shower essentially just had a small metal door ramp surrounding part of the bathroom floor, which really made a mess because the shower curtain was not large enough to enclose the entire ramp. Strike two. Tried to call the front about the business center. The corded part of the phone did not work. The speakerphone part did. Let's call that a foul tip. The bed was too soft. Both of us woke up with backaches. Strike three. Especially considering that we were in and out within 9 hours, Even if we are in the area again, we probably will not come back, nor would we recommend others to stay here. read more

I was slightly concerned that this hotel wouldn't live up to the ratings, as the deal for the room was almost too good to be true. Check in at 3:30 p.m. on a Saturday took less than 5 minutes. We were given room 1009, with a terrace that overlooked the World Trade Center and memorial pools. It was a stunning view, and the terrace felt private and secluded, even though we had a room right next door to it. The room was quiet in the evenings, with zero noise levels from the rooms next to us. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The only thing that seemed slightly odd about the room was the fact that the bathroom had a glass frosted door (which, let's be honest, was a little uncomfortable if you were using the toilet and your companion in the room can see your outline sitting there), and there was no ventilation fan in the bathroom. The staff was incredible and quick to help with any questions. The ONLY complaint is getting a taxi driver to actually find the hotel. When the construction eventually clears out, it will be much easier to find; in the meantime, just tell your taxi driver to drop you off at the Morton's Steakhouse next to the WTC. The hotel entrance is literally next to it. Would stay again, great stay overall!! read more

First: it is tucked away and a bit of a windy walk but seriously well worth it when you arrive. Second: the staff is VERY friendly and helpful. Third: the room we got was way bigger than expected for a New York City hotel room. There were balcony doors that opened with no balcony but a direct view of the fountains at the memorial. This was a really nice hotel. I selected this hotel because I spare no expense when I'm traveling with my boo. I got this through priceline when I selected zones all over NYC- we ended up with this one. It turned out to be one of the nicer hotels we got during our stay while researching apartments before moving to NYC. You gotta love the free bottled water. It's attached to the club quarters hotel. Here's a tip, walk over to the other hotel if your elevator seems slow and try going down there. It kinda sucks to stay here over the weekend since the Financial District is dead over the weekend. Good value, but you get what you pay for. The flat screen tv set up is pretty nice in each room since it had a VGA cable that you can hook up to your laptop and watch some streaming Hulu or youtube that you're using with their free wi-fi! My boo and I just ended up watching old episodes of How I met Your mother I had saved on my computer. If you're doing touristy stuff near battery park, staten island or statue of liberty, this hotel is a great choice. Even better is if you get it through priceline or hotwire. read more

Great Hotel with an amazing location! Tho hotel is in close proximity to World Trade Freedom Tower & the memorial. Check in time is 3pm and if you want a view of the world trade you'll need to go early and see if you can request! They have a rooftop on the 20th floor, I never made it there to see what the view was like. Overall great stay & I would recommend this place to anyone. I paid $108 all included, but I had a hotels.com credit for $100. For the night the room I got was $208 and I booked it at most 2 weeks before. As far as food, there is a bar right on the corner that's has your basic bar food, Starbucks, the W hotel has a bar restaurant which we ate dinner there and they had a happy hour menu. Also a Steakhouse right next door. A couple blocks up there is a liquor store and a cool looking beer garden with foosball!! The closets subway is prob a 7-10 min walk away I took the 1 train or Red Line down to the hotel. There is a lot if construction in the area, but nothing I couldn't navigate.
