So much space for the dogs to run!

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood - this is literally just what we needed! My boyfriend and I have been driving 15 - 30 mins for off-leash dog parks (either Grandview or Reber Ranch) but that isn't always ideal so I'm sooo excited to have one five minutes from home! I read about their opening in the Tukwila magazine I got in the mail (I know, I'm old) and just had to check it out. Apparently another dog park opened in Tukwila as well so, we're on the up and up, folks! The park is huge. There's not much to it - it's mostly just space for them to run but that's what they need when you get down to the basics. So, don't expect the fancy obstacle or agility tools here because you won't find them. It's more a place for them to run, play with other dogs, or play fetch. There's an area for small dogs and an area for large dogs. Both areas are very well manicured, BIG, and have benches for sitting. There's also a few areas of shade in each section too which will be nice as the warmer months set in. In the magazine it was advertised that there would be a cleaning station and a water area for the dogs... Both of which aren't in yet. The park is literally BRAND SPANKIN' NEW so I understand. But just be warned that you've gotta bring your own water until those things are in! All in all I am so so so glad to have this place nearby! We will definitely be regulars - can't wait til more people learn about the new park and til the water & cleaning station are in!

Quiet park, plenty of close parking. Poop bags provided for your dog messes. Don't be like this lady who watched her dog leave a pile and walk away. Bring water in the wintertime since water spigots are turned off. Two separate areas for big/small or shy dogs.

This dog park is HUGE. It has 2 layers of open fields and dog obstacles. There's also 3 entrances to get into the dog park which I thought was great. It's a nice walk down to bottom and easy walk up whether stairs or back up the gravel path. There's a few picnic booths too and a nice seating area to watch your dog is play. I highly recommend this dog park!

This is a super nice park. It is very green and plenty of room for everyone. We came and there were several people, super friendly. It is off the beaten path but worth the drive. There is a pathway around the park where one can walk circulating the park.

This place is disgusting, it kept well and smells horrible not to mention standing water and foul smelling mud. Just gross.

Love it - area for small dogs and big dogs both. Only downside is sometimes they forget to unlock gate but otherwise a great park

Sophie, our 3 year old doggie, loved zooming through the woodsy areas and just had a great time. We met up with 3 or 4 others, with their dogs well behaved and social as well. It can get a bit muddy as expected, so just be ready to clean off paws later. We had Sophie wear a little windbreaker light jacket, as once you get in to the woods more deeply it does get chilly. There was a muddy creek, but small, and hear a fun little 'bridge' to go over. Not much for squirrels or chipmunks, but we walked around the perimeter and it was well fenced in. There was also a smaller fenced in area, as you entered the main entrance I think, there are several entry ways, for small doggies. Google the directions and then verify. The first google maps took us way out of the way from a Gig Harbor start point, so we think that the address may not be completely accurate on google maps. Once there we parked in a nearby business lot, and walked over to a secured entry. It had 2 gates to go through, both secured and nice, esp for excited pets. We brought along our usual, poo bags, treats to practice recall skills, water bottle, and travel dish. You can spend up to 1-2 hours walking about and meandering through the little internal off trails. The trails are easy around the perimeter, and then more hilly and rustic in the interior towards the little creek.
