Today we removed it from the box only to discover the screen was cracked. The television is non operational. We took the television to the store explaining our situation and were told there was nothing they could do. Policy disallowed them to correct the situation. My mistake was believing Best Buy would deliver me an operational television. Never did I think I had to check it for damage. I was wrong and now learned an expensive lesson. I have a television I paid over $400 for and it does not work. Needless to say, I am no longer a Best Buy customer. Store policies should always allow for companies to correct a wrong.

I found Rotronics on the web and despite some older, negative reviews figured I'd give them a shot because they were so close to home (west valley) and because people typically only post when they are NOT happy (unlike me!!) I was afraid I would have to spend $65 to get it diagnosed but if you bring your TV into his shop, he only charges $25 for an estimate which goes towards cost of the repair. He fixed my TV in just 3 days, charging a TOTAL of $100, and even upgraded my power supply to a higher voltage. The TV works great and I am THRILLED!! Roland, the owner and guy who took care of me, seems to be very honest, knowledgable, and straightforward. Best of all, turns out they also do sound surround installations and he quoted me a price that was about a THIRD what I was quoted from big box store! I will definitely use these guys again and highly recommend them.
