It is definitely not the massive Targets that exist in suburbs and throughout the United States,…read morebut for the people that live in the area and for me who sometimes is in the area and needs to make a quick stop, it's super convenient, accessible, and the free validated parking is always welcomed. Due to its size, it has a lot less stuff than a typical Target outside the city, but having the essentials makes it perfect for getting in and out of. Shoutout connivence! RIYL: Target in da city

I knew better, but I went anyway and now I remember why…read more Two Stars. They had what I needed, but the experience was awful. I only came to the 5th Street Target because it was the only place that had what I needed,a simple pen for black label for homemade gifts. I came against my better judgment, and honestly, I wish I hadn't. First off, the parking is a mess. You have to park in the garage and get validation to avoid paying $7. There's no handicap parking right in front of the elevator entrance either, which makes things way harder than it should be. I could have used street parking but didn't feel like being hassled by the men that wait in front of the store. Once I got inside, I started noticing a man, Hispanic, curly hair, maroon shirt, no name badge walking past me multiple times in different sections. First in the makeup aisle, then again when I moved to another area, and again a third time. It really felt like he was watching me, not shopping. He made me super uncomfortable. I was using the Target app to scan items and make sure I was getting the right prices. Just trying to get in and out quickly because, truth be told, I've been avoiding Target for a while now. When I checked out, one of my items rang up higher than what the app said. I went to Guest Services, showed the price on my phone, and was told I must've grabbed the wrong thing. I hadn't, I scanned it myself before adding it to my cart. All this over a few markers. I'm sticking with my boycott. I came here trying to support my own project and left feeling watched, dismissed, and frustrated.

This target is pretty nice. It's located off 35 and 51st and is easy to access. The store is clean…read moreand has a good selection of items. The staff is nice and helpful. My only complaint is is that they only had 1 checker working the rest were self checkout and the line was long. Overall good experience.

I don't know who the manager is of the store, but they have failed to communicate with customer…read moreservice services supposed to be. There are two words in customer service, and they prioritize what your job is. First is the customer, end of story. Second is your job which is service. I have literally had employees in 130 minute visit to the store literally not move out of your way and just stand there or walk through you while you're shopping. I had one employee take all of his garbage. I was at the checkout line today, standing next to the self service that register right there, and he literally just dropped it all on the counter directly behind me, thump, scattered papers, and stickers, or whatever, and not even acknowledge that I was standing there, not the first time when he basically tried to walk through my basket or the second time when he just dumped stuff directly behind my body. While I was shopping in the clothing section a girl with a basket, I guess maybe fulfilling orders or something, has the whole aisle. I am looking at clothing. She pulls up directly behind me and size loudly as if I have to move and there's nowhere else to move around me. The management here needs to have a hard long conversation with these kids and either fire them and hire someone who can do the job or get them to get their priorities straight, which is act like you care to be there. Smile move out the way and help customers don't act like we're not there and throw your trash everywhere. Absolutely bananas I have rarely experienced this level of poor customer service, if they're not on their phones, they're not even acknowledging you if you look like you need help. If I'm standing there looking around and I'm looking at you then you're supposed to go can I help you with something? You don't just blow by me as if I don't exist. It is probably the rudest staff of any target in the area because they are so self-absorbed and disconnected and clearly don't care to be there.
