I went to this AT&T location in Shirley around 5:00 PM on a weekday, so it was a bit busy and I…read morewaited about 20 minutes without an appointment--definitely recommend avoiding peak hours if you're in a rush! That was my bad for not realizing the time of day. That said, once I was helped, I had a great experience. A super helpful associate named Karim assisted me (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly!). My phone screen had broken, and I had no idea how to transfer all my data to a new phone. Karim took care of everything for me in about 10-15 minutes. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free, didn't charge anything for the help, and even gave me detailed info about new Samsung and Google Pixel phones in case the one I bought as a quick replacement didn't work out. The store itself was very clean, and all the Samsung and Google Pixel display models were working, which I appreciated. I do wish there were more case options for non-iPhone models and that they were displayed higher up like the iPhone cases--you currently have to bend down to see them. Overall, a great experience. Karim, thank you so much--you were a total sweetheart and incredibly knowledgeable. I'll definitely come back and ask for you if I need help again!

After several trips to the store, we were assured it would be on the next bill. Still haven't gotten it after 6 months of billing. Assured bill would be $180 a month with fees and taxes. Bill is always $225 a month (with discounts and two phones on the bill we don't even own). Last night we got an email, the new bill would be over $300 a month for the two new Sim cards we ordered yesterday. We never ordered SIM cards. This place is very disreputable!

Had an issue with my Apple Cinema Display not turning on. As soon as I entered the store the guy…read morestarted to diagnose the possible issues, he tried to force it to turn on a few different ways and within 5 minutes discovered the power source was the issue. He replaced the power cord free of charge and got me on my merry way. I had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised

My Apple watch battery wasn't holding a charge anymore; I prefer to get as much life out of…read moreelectronic things as I can. The options were to bring it to Best Buy (who'd send it to Apple for $99), buy a DIY kit for $45, or bring it to I Fix Screens right down the street. I did some research and found that replacing Apple watch batteries requires the screen to be removed and then heat-sealed with a special glue. That seemed too delicate an operation for me to try on my own. I read some Google reviews that said IFS was less expensive than BB, and since it's also much closer to me, it seemed like a no-brainer. I brought it in. I was told to leave it and the repairman would be in touch; it was ready within the week. I got a bit of sticker shock picking it up when he told me it was $130--I thought at the very least the price would be competitive with Apple! (Frankly, for $50 more than his fee I could get a brand new watch!) He said he told me the price on the phone, but honestly, I didn't hear it. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, but if I had heard that price, I would have told him no thanks. When I got the watch home I noticed that there seemed to be deep scratches or nicks all along the edges where the screen meets the encasement. I took some photos of it to get a closer view, and it looks like bits of excess glue maybe? I don't want to mess with it, but seriously, for that price it should look pristine. I'm including the photos; the knobby bits are circled in red. ***UPDATE: There's no discernible difference in battery life. What an incredible waste of money!

This is about T Mobile phone in customer service and not about any particular store…read more So I did the usual upgrade with T Mobil where you get 2 upgraded phones and you trade in the older ones. I did it over the phone because if you go to a T Mobil store and you don't get there right when they open and you're the first on line, you will be there for hours. I then called customer service to see how I will go about sending them my trade in phones and they said there will be a shipping label and instructions in the box with the new phones so I would simply ship back the old phones in the same box and affix the shipping label and bring it to UPS. There was no shipping label in the box with the new phones. I then began an arduous journey of returning the trade in phones. On the first call I was told that I would receive an email with the label and instructions. No email received. I then called them back and it took over 30 minutes for customer service to generate an email which contained a shipping label and a packing slip that said that I was returning one phone. I then called back and asked for a new email with a shipping label and a packing slip that said that I was returning two phones. After 2 calls they said they sent another email. Never got one. I then proceeded to make 4 more calls to customer service reps and "supervisors" who insisted that the shipping label reflected the fact that there were 2 phones being returned even though it didn't say so. I then asked for a regular composed email with the pertinent information stating that I was returning two phones and I would simply use that as my packing slip and keep a copy for my records and I was denied and told that it doesn't work that way at T Mobil. In my last call to a "supervisor", she was rather condescending in tone and she said that everyone has told me the same thing and this was the way it was going to go whether I like it or not. Every consumer should be concerned about the fact that this new entitled workforce that we have in 2025 seems incapable of even composing and sending a simple email, notwithstanding the fact that we are are dealing with a company here that actually makes their money off of the transfer of information!
