I went to pick up my laptop from having the screen repaired. I was quoted $50 total. When I went to pick it up, the total came to $270. I was told $50 was the screen and the rest was for the work. I thought it was replaced properly & even tipped Joe for his service. Then after returning home the phone was glitching out. I brought it back the next morning by 10AM when they say they open & n-one showed up until 11AM. Seems he clipped a wire inside & needed to replace it but didn't have the part. He sent me to a second store & they got it working for a few days. Now my phone doesn't even start up anymore. I had to then go spend over 1000.00 on a new replacement phone. My family and I were put in danger by this store because of a fake robbery scam where we spent hours getting the run around from the owners and employee - Mohammed. It felt like a total set up. They DID NOT have police involved as we later found out by SCPD. They also had what looked to be like a gang in front of their shop waiting for us to pick up the phone. This was absolutely disgusting and terrifying for us. The employee mocked us and refused to give the phone without payment even though he offered to replace the stolen phone earlier. When the phone got stolen, they did not even contact us - they told us the phone would be ready in 30 minutes but when we arrived the phone was stolen and "police reports were made" which was all a lie. They also tried to retrieve our iCloud information to "track" the phone. Which we already know is a very common scam. They lied to us by even saying the robber had a "change of heart" and came back to return the phone. HA! You can tell it was an inside job done poorly. The employee even tried to get us inside the store again after we refused to even open the window of our vehicle all the way for him. He kept telling us he needed our information such as "names and phone numbers" even though we gave him all that info when we dropped the phone off. He seemed to be talking to someone who was hiding inside. I'm sure they were going to harm us physically/verbally or try to get more money out of us. THEY ARE ALL SCAMMERS AND THIEVES. Stay safe everyone. Anyone will cause harm to you if it means they'll get a few more bucks. This is embarrassing for this entire company. I will NEVER go to one of these locations again. You demanded all the cash we had on our person because we told you we would call with the card number because we did not feel safe entering your building but you refused. I came here to get my iPhone 8 Plus fixed both the back and front and was promised it would be done the next day by Muhammad (the owner) he also gave me a discount saying I would just have to leave a good review which was very odd but I agreed. When I came back the next day the girl employee told me the owner Muhammad who had agreed to fix my phone wasn't there so I came back the next day and I was told the same thing. 3 days later I came back and finally got my phone back but when I saw my phone I realized that there was a small crack on the front of my new screen and I also saw that there was a big gap between the back of my glass screen and my phone. When I asked the employee why it looked like that and if they could take it back to fix it she told me to wait a moment to take a 30 minute call. As I was waiting 2 other separate customers came in, a lady and her son got their iPhone fixed and her home button that was functioning suddenly didn't anymore after getting it fixed there. And a man who had left his ipad to get fixed there hadn't gotten his iPad back in over a MONTH and was ready to get his lawyers involved. After hearing that I was taken back and didn't trust them to take my phone anymore. The lady finally came back and handed me a rubber band saying that the glue didn't stick properly and that in a week the rubber band would have helped it stick together which it obviously wouldn't have since the glue was already dried. At this point I just said I would come when Muhammad was there which was supposed to be the next day but he didn't show up although he had promised. I also realized that my flashlight that was perfectly working no longer turned on when I needed it to. Muhammad was always avoiding to see me after I called several times and I never got my iPhone fixed. If I could give this place zero stars I really would. A waste of $200 and just terrible service. Long story short they did not fix my phone properly, the owner then offered to buy my phone and refund me what i had paid plus additional money for the phone. He gave me an "offline refund" on my card. I NEVER saw that money in my account. I had to get my husband to go to the shop and threaten him for my refund which was paid back to me in installments. NEVER go to iFix Screens in Shirley. Ashley purchased an iPhone XR from them last month. The same day that it was purchased, it was taken to sprint where it was found to have an activation lock. The phone was immediately taken back to the store where she was a refund would be immediately issued. It has been almost a month and she has not received her refund. Ashley and I have been calling, going to the store and texting with the owner. We have been ignored, blocked and told, by the owner, that it isn't his problem. The owner has ignored all calls and texts, when we go to the store we are told that the owner is always conveniently unavailable, my phone number was blocked by the store and they are not responding to any FB messages. I've called corporate and they keep saying they'll try to get in touch with the owner. We had hundreds of dollars stolen by this asshole. Awful person and an even shittier thing to do. Went here to get my screen fixed. They replaced the screen and then my home button stopped working before I even left the store. He told me to come back in a few weeks so they could have someone else look at it. I went back and he took my phone apart and couldn't figure out what was wrong with the home button and then also broke my screen to wear it wasn't showing a clear picture. He replaced the screen AGAIN and then told me he should have charged me but he won't. After they are the ones who broke the home button and screen the second time around. He also said he didn't have a tempered glass to replace my old one and said my screen was already cracked anyway. Which is wasn't. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this store. To be honest, I didn't see these reviews before we went, but we had a wonderful experience. I'm real, not fake reviewer, look me up I have made other reviews.....I fell running in the late afternoon. And I was carrying my phone, which fell and cracked the screen and the touch system wasn't working. It was about 6:30pm and we went looking by for any open store that could help. We called the store and they said come on in. Arrived a little after 7pm. The gentleman behind the counter (assume he was the owner) was pleasant and immediately took the phone apart, showed me what was broken and gave me a fair price. Within 15-20 minutes we were on our way with my phone fixed fine. Using it now to write up this review. Never mentioning anything about posting a "good review" or anything else, he took my information and gave me a 10% discount as a new customer. Worst customer service I have ever seen. This store is generally unorganized and it seems like my iPad repair is not the only repair they messed up this week. After being rudely and continuously lied to about the scope of the repair of my cracked screen and the time that it would take I was finally able to get my iPad back only to find that the screen was popping up in places and there is a gap on one side between the screen and the frame. Well, its been 2 months since I posted my original review and the owner has never acknowledged or addressed this review like he did the others or tried to make any reparations for breaking my screen! It proves he knew they are wrong and doesn't want to do anything about it! I emailed them over a week ago to get a price to replace my battery on my phone. I received an email back stating it would cost $49.99 but mention the email and i'll get $10 off. ok great. I go to the store. they tell me oops, they don't have the battery in stock but they'll order it and it'll be there the next day. Ok, cool. I call the next day, nope, no battery. Well this goes on for 3 more days. The 4th day, they finally have the battery. ok, i bring my phone in. an hour later, he calls me to tell me the battery they got is bad. WHAT??? WAS IT A USED BATTERY?? WTF?? he then proceeds to show me the back of my phone and it's cracked. He tries to claim it was like that already. it was not because i had an armor-all case on it after i just replaced the glass. so he assures me he'll get a new battery tomorrow. well today is that day. i call to confirm they have the battery at 3pm. they assure me they do....well, i bring my phone in at 3:45pm. they tell me it will take an hour. i call an hour later. guess what, they tell me the phone isn't ready yet!!!! they are very backed up...ummm i didn't mention the fact that i really should be priority since they've wasted so much of my time but i dont say anything. i wait 2 more hours and call them again. guess what.....THEY DON'T HAVE THE BATTERY!!!! WTF???? but. they assure me they sent someone to medford at 6:30pm to get a battery....well i go there at 7:30pm and they close at 8pm. MY FU**ING PHONE IS STILL IN THE BAG!! I paid $250 for a headache I already had. If could rank this establishment any lower I would the customer service was absolutely terrible. I brought my phone in with a cracked screen and LCD to what I thought was a professional Screen store that wouldn't be as great as apple but also wouldn't be as expensive. What I got was a phone that wasn't completely repaired or that had a warranty for that matter I thought nothing of it listening to the "iPhone pro" explain how because of my phone having water damage it didn't meet the requirements needed to be covered. I found this reasonable because I wasn't afraid of dropping my phone and cracking the screen again this was the first time I had cracked my phone in 4-5 years I picked up my repaired phone on 10/26/16 less than 24 hours later it had a non-contact internal crack reaching out to the bends I was told was being fixed but wasn't, and I brought it back only to be told that if I didn't pay for a new phone screen there was nothing they could do to help me. This place is terrible. I brought my son's iPad mini here in April and didn't get it back till July. Went there and called many times and got the round around. Employees always said they just started and my manager will call you when he gets in and of course he didn't. On top of that they broke the iPad and had to send it to different store so they say. Finally they gave me an iPad not mine but try to pass it off as mine. I was more then fair and patient and still no apology or honesty. They gave me a 16gig instead of a 32gig and I had a sim slot. But obviously mine was gone so I just took the loss to many times going back and fourth with this horrible business. I wouldn't even mark the one star but I have to just to tell you how bad and inexperienced they are at this store. DO NOT BRING ANY KIND OF IPAD to this place. They have no clue what's under the glass. After three times or should I say attempts to fix my iPad I had to go else where to have undone the damage they did just to replace the broken glass. My new iPad went from a white to black after three attempts to get my home button to work my apps to close and the iPad to shut down when not in use. The home button their solution was to add one as a running program as a back up button. That's when I knew I was done. This place was awful. Got my girlfriends phone there paid almost 100 to have the screen fixed. It was done in about an hour and a half. The screen was popping out of the phone and they claimed the phone was bent and wanted more money to fix their own mistake. Took my phone to Geek Squad in best buy who was able to pop the screen into place but told me the screen didn't fit well due to it being a cheap after market screen. Place is a total scam.... Take iPhones to apple. Worth the extra money.. What kills me is. This is obviously on the person repairing it and they couldn't take 5 minutes to just take it off and place it right? Unbelievable.
