This issue was because customer service attempted ti upgrade me and i declined because i wanted to perform the upgrade in the store. Therefore representative informed me of the issue and said that the manager just left and not one there was empowered to perform the override. Then, I'm informed that they will not have a manager in the next day. Therefore, i must wait an additional day to get the upgrade. The young lady to me that I could call ATT phone support to get the approval and the. She could help me. Well.... After sitting on hold for 20 minutes, an automated message advised me that the call center is closed and i should visit a store or ATT.com. What the absolute heck is going on? 1. Why is there not a manager or assistant manager available during store hours? 2. Why would an associate not offer to own the issue and call customer support with they phone and allow me to speak when make contact with a support person. 3. Why have a store open with no one empowered to handle escalated issues. I expect this lack of support from an authorized retailer but not from an actually ATT corporate store. We were…read moretold the 13 pro would cover the cost of the new phone and that we would receive $850 for the iPhone 12 Pro for trade in value. But after we received the new phone via delivery and swapped everything over and brought back the old phones to trade in, we were told we would only receive $350 for the iPhone 12 Pro and that there was nothing that could do about the trade in value. We upgraded 2 phone and watches because of the savings we would receive by doing so, as told to us by the employee and because we were receiving good trade in values for our phones. The only remedy they told us was we could downgrade one phone to a generation older to get a cheaper payment and that was it. But now we just feel like we got conned and lied too. The employee acted like they thought we had the same trade in phones even though it was discussed multiple times of the difference in trade in value during our initial visit. Our monthly phone bill is now $140 over what we were told it would be. It's very frustrating and unprofessional that they wouldn't hold to what we were originally promised. If you do business here, I suggest you get everything in writing or documented.

His colleague C J also refused to help & what do you expect from the team when their manager is useles? We use WHATSAPP as it is FREE and yet, AT&T charged us $45 for international calls at $3-4 a minute. He told me that he can only refund $10 in total as that's what he is allowed to give which is a lie itself. In past couple year, this has been their scam as my daughter & I have been to the stores to switch off international calling on our phones but "somehow magically" it keeps switching back! Before 2 years, AT&T had charged me almost $500-600 for these fraudulent international calls & after numerous store visits & customer service calls, they refused to refund my money so finally I told them that I will even go to any legal action unless they refund my money & that's when the agent "escalated" the call to the supervisor! After reviewing my case, the supervisor told me that it was their system fault as when I had contacted them to remove their app to stop Scam calls, something had gone wrong & so finally they refunded my money! Eight people in my family had AT&T but 3 of us have now cancelled AT&T & 5 more will do so, thanks to Agustin & C J. My advice to whoever has AT&T is that keep checking your bills twice a month to stop their nonsense wrong bills ASAP, be "NOBODY CARES" at AT&T! Their fraudulent bills gave me anxiety as I didn't want to go through the nightmare I went through previously. Our headache, stress & anxiety are gone now:).
