I'd been on Apple's "priority list" for the iPhone 4 for over a week, and I figured that I would try out this location to see if they had any in stock. I happened to be in the neighborhood, and the Apple store was pretty busy and most likely out of stock, so I went in here to have a look. What a contrast to the Apple Store. There's no one there to greet you, point you in the right direction, see if you have any questions that can be answered quickly, etc. I saw a guy sitting in the front window playing with his phone, and another person standing behind a desk on the lower level. I wasn't sure, but I had a sneaking suspicion that this person playing with his phone actually worked at the store. I walked to the upper level, and there was one person ahead of me, and he seemed to be getting pretty good service at the desk, so I figured I'd wait for the lone lady behind the desk to be done with him. All the while, another gentleman, who appears to work for this store, walked right by me, went behind the front counter, and disappeared through a door in the back without even an "are you being helped?" So, I stood and waited between five and ten minutes. Finally, an official-looking man with a name tag asks me if I need help. Me: "Hi, I was wondering if you had any of the iPhone 4 in stock?" Him: "Everybody's ordering them." (I don't care for the dismissiveness, and you could've just said, "I'm sorry, we don't have them in now.") He then proceeded to tell me that they had the iPhone 4 for cheaper than the Apple Store, and that I could order one through him. *blink* Huh? I didn't think the AT&T Store could sell that for less than Apple. I asked him to explain. He said, "At the Apple Store, they charge you tax based on the retail price of the phone." (Isn't that what they're supposed to do? In that case, how are you charging sales tax?) I asked him something to the effect of, "How is that possible?" His response was, "I don't work for them." *blink* He then asked me if I wanted to order. I said I'd prefer to wait for the Apple Store. He then said, "So, you're alright with paying more for it?" *blink* I walked out. I don't know if they're on commission, but they shouldn't make it so obvious if they are. And I don't exactly believe that AT&T can sell Apple's product for less than Apple is selling it for - I am reasonably certain there's got to be some kind of resale price maintenance agreement. The bottom line is that I felt like I was being sold to, and the person spoke to me in a condescending manner. Perhaps I would have had a different experience with a different employee, but judging by some of the other reviews on here, I am not so sure. I think I'll try other AT&T stores in the future, or just go to the Apple Store. Sure, they may charge more (though I doubt it for the iPhone 4) but they've always made me feel comfortable and treated me like a customer rather than a potential sale. read more

The so called manager Agustin at 4545 N Scottsdale Rd, Suite 104 is totally unhelpful who refused to review, understand or even acknowledge why their fraudulent bill should be corrected. His colleague C J also refused to help & what do you expect from the team when their manager is useles? We use WHATSAPP as it is FREE and yet, AT&T charged us $45 for international calls at $3-4 a minute. He told me that he can only refund $10 in total as that's what he is allowed to give which is a lie itself. In past couple year, this has been their scam as my daughter & I have been to the stores to switch off international calling on our phones but "somehow magically" it keeps switching back! Before 2 years, AT&T had charged me almost $500-600 for these fraudulent international calls & after numerous store visits & customer service calls, they refused to refund my money so finally I told them that I will even go to any legal action unless they refund my money & that's when the agent "escalated" the call to the supervisor! After reviewing my case, the supervisor told me that it was their system fault as when I had contacted them to remove their app to stop Scam calls, something had gone wrong & so finally they refunded my money! Eight people in my family had AT&T but 3 of us have now cancelled AT&T & 5 more will do so, thanks to Agustin & C J. My advice to whoever has AT&T is that keep checking your bills twice a month to stop their nonsense wrong bills ASAP, be "NOBODY CARES" at AT&T! Absolutely the worst service I've ever received - avoid AT&T! I live here in the U.S., and I just wanted to get a simple SIM card for my girlfriend who's visiting me as a tourist. AT&T sold us a SIM that didn't even work, then made us wait 3 hours in the store without resolving anything. When we asked for a refund, they refused and said there's no refund policy -- even though we never got any service. Customer service was terrible, especially from Kimberly and Brenda, who were rude, dismissive, and kept stalling when I asked to speak to a manager. They claimed he was unavailable and would call me later. Only after insisting multiple times did they finally let me speak with the manager. Eventually, I spoke with the store manager Dannette Nooy, who told me that the no-refund policy is written in very small and hidden fine print -- even if the product doesn't work. They tried to blame the issue on my girlfriend's phone, but when we went to a different company, their SIM card worked immediately with no issues. So clearly, it wasn't the phone -- it was AT&T's service. This entire experience felt like a scam. It was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful. Well let's start with when I walked in nobody said hello or bothered to greet me. The sales chick walked past me 3x and didn't say a word. We have three AT&T phone lines and our son needed to upgrade his phone. The team at this location provided excellent service. Mattie spent a long time explaining all the options and both he and Greg stayed late to finish our son's upgrade and ensure his phone transition was seamless. They were both incredibly professional, knowledgable and friendly. It does not always go so smoothly when changing phones and we were incredibly impressed with the attention to detail and customer service by Mattie and Greg. Abandon hope- all ye who enter here. I'm an optimist and try to see the positive in everything- but this store is a complete dumpster fire. Avoid at all costs. I received the wrong new iPhone via FedEx and just needed to drop it off at the ATT store for processing the return. I already reset it and all that nonsense. Being a responsible-ish adult, I even made an appointment for 1pm at this location. I arrived at 12:55pm and walked around the store. There were five employees already seated and working with customers. I was greeted but no one asked for my name or if I had an appointment. Finally at 1:10pm I asked an employee if I needed to sign in or what. She took my name down and disappeared. I notice that employees here consistently disappear to the staff office after every customer leaves. So they finish with one customer and then go back and do God knows what in the back. So now the time is 1:27 and I cannot believe how slow things are moving. It's partially a systems issue because they are kind of set up to fail. One employee was stuck helping these two older women and the employee was working hard but the women were taking advantage and asking 10,000 questions followed by debating what phone cases they needed. Overall there is zero sense of urgency at this store. MVD looks impressive next to this shit show. The best part is that when it was finally my turn the guy said I should return it at a post office since I ordered online. I explained to him that I already called ATT and they instructed me to go to a store..... So I wasted 40 minutes and had to call ATT back and ask how to return this phone and guess what they said....... yup- they said I should drop it off at an ATT store. I explained to the person on the phone I'd rather chew on broken glass then go back to that store so after being on hold 20 minutes she agreed to send me a shipping label. Had a issue with my phone. Traveling to another state and found an AT&T store near a mall my wife and I wanted to shop at anyway. It's located across the street from the Apple store. Was a nice store and was assisted by the manager Bert. He wasn't making any commission, I didn't buy anything, but he was friendly, nice, and solved my issue in a couple minutes. Excellent service. I've got mixed feelings about at&t... just as I'm sure that most people have mixed feelings about their mobile carrier. But this review isn't for at&t as a company, it's just for the Scottsdale store where I stopped in recently to return a phone. Long story, but I had a temporary android phone and hated it. After hours (literally hours) on the phone with at&t customer service, I worked it out so that I could return my android phone at this store and then head over to the apple store with my upgrade eligible status to get the new iPhone. That part is another story, and took longer than expected, but luckily, I did have a decent experience at this store thanks to the help I received from Hasen, the retail sales consultant that helped me out. I hope there isn't really ever a need to return to this store, but if you must go, ask for Hasen... he was friendly, answered my questions, and provided the service I was seeking in a speedy yet attentive manner. read more

The associate named Sky lied about multiple things and then when I called back contued to lie after my wife and i verified in the store with him multiple times. 5 stars as I left this store with my new phone..ATT sent me a review online and I filled it out that my experience was fantastic...3 days later I get a email thanking me for adding "protection insurance for $15 a month" Whitney Moore I believe was her name who was the store rep that fraudulently added this to my account to make a quick buck! This is what got Wells Fargo a class action lawsuit.. This is not about the money for me, it is about my time it took to complain and cancel, and this store NEVER answers their phone. Whatever you do do not go to this location. My husband and I went to trade in our phones and upgrade to the iPhone 13 but nearly 2 weeks later we are still dealing with issues from that trade. We have spent almost 20 hours in person and over the phone trying to fix the issue this location caused. I have been on the phone for three hours now and we still do not have a solution. I don't understand how managers, employees, tech-support, literally no one, knows how to fix this and we still don't have the phones that we are now paying for. I went in a while back to upgrade my phone. While there they talked me into trying direct tv free for a month. I was told they'd even give me a credit for my trouble. So I thought, why not. They signed me up. Gave me a streaming device. I went home. A week or so later, I had to have a major surgery. So I never even got a chance to try it. I went back on Fri 6/24 to return the device since I had not had any use for it. They told me I still had time but they couldn't help me because they didn't have the right password into their system. They asked me to come back. Back in on Mon 6/27. Now they said it was too late. They couldn't take it back. I'd have to pay for the device and keep it. They couldn't take it back. I had never even opened it. So fine. They did help me cancel the service. Now I got a charge to my card for close to $100 from Direct Tv. I don't recall giving them permission to autopay anything. So now I didn't use the stupid thing, I didn't get a credit, and I had to pay $100. This is why I hate talking to them at the ATT store. Things never work out the way they promise it will work. I should have known better than to trust them. I'd give them a lower scores but one star is the lowest this system will allow. Now I have to figure out how to stop Direct TV from taking any more of my money. read more

Worst customer service ever here. We came in because I wanted to add my fiancé to my phone line and he had some questions about the new iPhone 7 and the new Samsung 7. After about a 25 minute wait and not even being acknowledged at all, my fiancé has to go up to one of the reps there to see how much longer we would have to wait. He said they're short staffed and they probably wouldn't be able to get us in before they closed. Well why didn't you say that the minute we walked in the door? And then let us wait for 25 minutes and not even say anything to us at all? Note to the managers, you might want to teach your employees to be more courteous to the customers and maybe even acknowledge them otherwise good luck staying open at this location. read more

We experienced excellent service today, arrived Saturday at 10 AM and we were the first people there. Whitney assistants us and she was wonderful to work with. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Ended up purchasing a new iPhone and while we were there she got our DIRECTV bill lowered $40 a month. This place started getting really busy about 10:30 AM, so I do recommend getting there as soon as they open. read more

OK so if anyone knows me I'm not one to have debt. I pay everything in full. The past several years I haven't cared for the newest of the new when it comes to cell phones. I will usually buy a couple grades lower than the newest model on amazon and call it good! I've been out of a wireless contract for the past several years with a great unlimited monthly bill with my phone paid in full. My new job definitely challenges a good working phone. This afternoon I stepped in to ATT with no appointment just to get an idea of any upgrades or promotions I'd be eligible for. I was greeted by two smiling faces and appointed to a lovely lady named Rocky to help me. I arrived at approximately 12:00 PM not knowing it would take until 3:00 PM/3 hours later until I was all done. This is NOT a complaint in fact the complete opposite. I have NEVER had such great customer service. Rocky helped me every step of the way. From backing up my phone to getting my new gold iPhone XS to trading in my old iPhone 5S (old school and sad I know which is clearly why I'm upgrading) to getting all my awesome accessories including my clear iPhone case, wireless charger and 10 ft wall charger (which all come with lifetime or yearly warranties). Rocky was so informative, patient and helpful and kept it 100% real the whole way through. She definitely hooked me up! We need more great customer service like her y'all! I would highly suggest this location. Great inventory, clean store (located right across from the newly opened apple store by fashion square mall to fit everyone's needs) and great service all around. They even walk you out after your purchase. They definitely go above and beyond here. A++......oh and go visit Rocky, you go girl I love my phone!! read more

Easy access to the store with ample parking. If you want to be offered services you don't need, and given incorrect promo info, with no assistance on purchas products, this is THE place. Came here with my son to pick up an online order and to have him look at phones. I got my phone and that was that, no offer to help set it up or tell me about cool features, I had to ask. I could sense the reluctance but my phone was set up, then strong push for Direct TV and a home alarm. No acknowledgement of my son who was looking at phones, whom I asked (in front of the agent) if he found something (he did). Still no acknowledgement, so we left. Will probably get it online or find a store more willing to help. I miss the store inside PV mall. They were a 6 out of 5. Sad they closed. read more

I just bought a brand new Blackberry Torch in August when they first came out. Over the weekend my screen went completely black and the phone would not turn on at all. I took it in Sunday afternoon to this AT&T location and Sean was EXTREMELY helpful and very nice. He checked my phone out and couldn't get it to turn on either so he gave me a brand new Torch right out of the box and got it up and working as quickly as possible. I had purchased a screen cover when I originally bought the phone and he gave me a new one at no charge to me, saying it wasn't my fault the phone just stopped working. I REALLY appreciated that he also let me use the restroom which technically was employee's only - I really had to go. Anything to do with cell phone malfunctions is quite stressful and Sean's customer service made what could have been such a terrible situation SO much better. I really love coming across people this nice and helpful because it seems like such a rarity these days. read more
