My cats destroyed the fabric, and the chair moved to the basement, where it remained until we moved to a new house about a month ago. I almost threw the chair out, but couldn't bear the thought of parting with it. So I contacted Vinny at Miro Upholstery, and he couldn't have been nicer. I went to the store to pick out a fabric, and Vinny suggested that I take some fabric books home. He gave me several books, my husband and I went through them and selected one. Miro picked up the chair and the fabric books, and today, about a month later, the chair was delivered. It is more beautiful than I could have imagined. New foam, new fabric, they touched up the wood - it's an antique chair that looks brand new. I'm completely thrilled. This was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Miro Upholstery.

I was given a Capius, a right to hire a constable to force her to pay me interest and principal to me on monies due. I had the right to have her arrested. Inclined to do so, I agreed to lose 1/3 my $. She is a weasel and thinks she had a right to countersue me which she did not as she had 4 months to speak her mind. Snezana suggested that it might be easier for us if she came to our house to look at the situation, so that we could avoid having to schlep a big piece of furniture over for possibly no reason. She came by the very next day and told us the sad news that the chair's construction made it impossible to do a quality job. She charged nothing for the visit and was prompt, courteous, and super helpful (and also really sympathetic). It is unbelievably rare to experience this kind of attention and service these days, and this little company well deserves recognition for this. The quality of their work looks awesome, by the way, because the chairs our neighbors' had recovered by them look fabulous. Five stars for service, quality and integrity! Moral of the story: Never buy furniture upholstered with "bicast" leather! It's not real leather and it peels horribly, usually right after the warranty expires.

I was impressed with their patience and commitment to making this transaction and investment work out in all parties favor. I needed at-home repair of several antique pieces. One was a mahogany buffet which needed veneer…read morerepair as well as loose posts on the piece. Both problems were resolved by the Trefler technician Sam, who made the repairs and skillfully colored the area. Another was an 18th century French armoire. One of the original shelves had warped and had to be resized to fit back into the piece. I also needed the door latch relocated so that I could open the doors without using a ladder. These repairs were effected by the technician Bernard. The remaining time was used to repair an antique table with a loose shim, a loose piece on the front of another anntique armoire and a Charles X antique clock which had cracked on the front of the piece. There was a three-hour minimum payment for the technicians' time and transport. While expensive, I felt the time was well used and the expertise of the technicians totally justified the fee for their presence. The bottom line is that all my furniture problems were resolved by their intervention. You get what you pay for.
