He has just finished recovering two couches for us, which far exceed our expectations--see before and after of one couch. Not only does Tho do a perfect job, he does not spare on the details. He added welting and recommended how we could use the material in a cost efficient way. He polished the wood and more! His prices are excellent and, in our case, the work was done ahead of time. Tho is a master craftsman who exceeded expectations in all ways. I had an old but expensive Bloomingdale's sleeper sofa with worn out beige fabric that I asked Tho to reupholster. The same day I called for the estimate, he was ready to do the work. I had the sofa delivered the same day. Unbelievably, he was done with the work in 5 days. Not only did other upholsterers quote higher prices, but also 2 1/2 - 3 weeks for the same work Tho did. When we arrived to pick up the sofa, my husband's eyes lit up. We had expected pretty much the same sofa with the fabric changed. The sofa looked substantially better than the day we bought it - gorgeous in fact. He slightly altered the proportions (for the better!) and fixed some of the flaws the sofa has always had. He paid tremendous attention to detail, even adding an interior flap to cover the sofa bed. It is like we got a new designer sofa! Tho turned our sofa from an embarrassment to a piece de resistance. As if that was not enough, we are working with a flaky mover who has been difficult to pin down. Tho has been extremely accommodating, even offering to come in off hours to help us arrange pick up and drop off. I had three arm chairs recovered. I picked Tho because of several in process pieces I saw in his showroom. When I picked them up today I was shocked....they were better than new. He did an amazing job of perfectly recovering them and matching the fabric pattern. I just had 2 chairs reupholstered at Tho's. I am very pleased with the work that he did. The chairs look brand new and he did a masterful job with matching the original details of the upholstery. He also touched up the legs and reinforced the frame which was loose on one of the chairs. He charged exactly what he originally estimated based on pictures i sent him, he was the most affordable based on three estimates I got. The process was easy and he was very patient while I was selecting fabric for the chairs since it took me a while to select and order the fabric. He completed the job in the exact time he estimated. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend him for any upholstery work you need done. read more

I had a terrible experience there several days ago. I sent chairs and tables to there to get repainted. When I went to pick them up, I was totally shocked. That was totally not what I wanted. Then I argued with the guy, but he is very rude and just rudely told me that was what I wanted to do with it, then walked away. I would give 0 star if I could. read more
