I'd expect a place that calls itself a "seafood bar" to have a better selection of seafood. We popped in for lunch, and felt a bit optimistic- until we saw the menu, which was absolutely tiny. I struggled to find something that I wanted to eat (apart from the mussels and scallops nothing else sounded particularly appetising: especially not the tagliatelle pomodoro at £14!) We got a side of chips and a £2.50 bread basket which consisted of one brown bread roll and a tiny thin white baguette. Worth £1 maybe, we actually laughed when it was placed in front of us. The scallops didn't have their roes attached (so probably not that fresh) and although my mussels were plump the broth was very watery. Since I didn't have much bread to mop it up I ended up sending back a bowl full of the grey substance. We fancied a dessert, and asked if we could see the menu. There were three options: lemon tart, ice cream, or a cheese board. We decided we could do better at home in terms of coffee, so just left it. This is really not a place you should seek out on your holiday, and if you fancy seafood I'd recommend heading somewhere else. read more
