Crisp and Green is good, but it can be hit or miss. I have had avocados that were either expired or no where near ripe before, which has really thrown me off. Their green goddess dressing is amazing though! I really enjoy getting their kids meals, but make sure to request a slice of bread because they don't automatically include one with the kids salad. read more

Overall, Crisp & Green is a solid place for a quick, healthy meal. My only complaint is the price and the inconsistency of portions. The prices are too high for a simple salad. For a create your own salad. You get charged for everything that isn't lettuce. I feel like that makes no sense. Cheese, corn and tomato's ( an extra 6$). See I wanted to try this place on a whim but I am highly disappointed in this place. The buffalo chicken tastes like tuna. The smoothies are flavorless. I would expect more from this place considering their competitors. The fact that the lettuce was fresh and watching the workers handle the food with care is a plus. The Baby Chef (from the kids menu) salad was fine although at $7.75 I think it's on the pricey side. However, when I handed the young lady a $10 bill, she said, "Oh, we don't take cash. Only cards or Apple Pay." I can kind of see the business benefits of this, but I do NOT like being forced into using a card - even a debit card. I picked up two salads to go from here around 4pm. Since it was a weird hour between lunch and dinner, it was pretty quiet and only a few people eating inside. The guy behind the counter was really nice and service was very efficient - not sure what it would be like during prime lunch hour, but I imagine it would be very busy with long lines. I had heard a lot of great things about this place and people were raving about the food. Unfortunately for me I felt it just missed the mark a bit. I ordered the Cesar salad for myself and thought it was average. I liked the Parmesan crisp that was served on top though! Both were served with a side of bread that was optional. Nice to have the option but the bread wasn't anything exceptional l. I loved the space inside though and would be open to coming back again to eat inside and trying the food again. read more

It was a good sized portion but still a little over priced in my opinion for a quick-serve restaurant salad with chicken ($11 something). How am I first hearing of this place?! During times as crazy as the world is right now, it's nice to see a restaurant with high values in customer service and food quality. I am now a regular at the Edina location because they are wonderful! I got to chatting with the manager Lauren and a couple other staff members as I stumbled across Crisp & Green a few weeks back and now I've been recommending it to everyone! The price may seem high to some but when you get a salad big enough to split into two meals, I think it's well worth it (especially when you think about how much you spend on other things- a glass of wine at another restaurant for example). This location is awful. They never have toppings made for certain salads and they let you know once they are halfway done making the salad you ordered. I tried Crisp and Green after reading more positive reviews for this restaurant than the other healthy restaurant across the street. I ordered the Cobb salad. It was delicious, but I was really disappointed that a good number of the greens were wilted and tasted terrible. I would forgive this for most restaurants not based on salads and healthy bowls, however I think if your restaurant is based on salads and healthy bowls - the base of those needs to be fresh. One new opening growing pain - they get my online orders a little wrong every time (it happened three times now, first two times I gave them the benefit of the doubt being newly opened). Most of the time it's forgetting to add the protein. They could benefit from someone checking before it goes out the door. Otherwise it's great. The staff just seems to lack leadership at this location. The process to make salads is inefficient. There are employees standing around talking at 11:50 a.m. (peak lunch period) and 7 customers standing still staring at their phones waiting to order a salad. Good place for a healthy meal; only come if you have disposable time in your schedule. read more
