This is your stop for a fresh salad or wrap. My wife and I have been here a few times especially when we are looking for something fresh. My wife always gets the same but I switch it up. I do think their food is really good, however I don't know if I can fully recommend them basically because of the pricing. This location is in the Horizon West area of Winter Garden, very close to us. You can choose one of their pre selected suggestions or create your own. Everything is made in front of you. I do really enjoy their food, however, last time my wife and I visited, we spent over $40 for 2 salads. No drinks, nothing. It was absolutely crazy! I usually pick one of the suggestions, I really enjoy the Greek bowl. My wife was told awhile ago, to always create her own as it was a better price since she did not want everything in the suggested bowl. Her bowl alone came out to about $27. WHAT! That is the most absurd thing ever and she did not even have that much in the bowl. I do wonder if the person was new, since she got charged for everything. When you create your own it is supposed to come with a protein and some additions, however, she kept ringing and it ended up being $27 with only chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, bacon and parmesan cheese. Their dressing cups are also very small, since we got it to go, we asked for more dressing, CHARGED. If we ate there they would add as much as we want in the bowl for FREE! I mean come on. I just find it highly discouraging when you are trying to order something healthy and have to pay over $27 for lettuce and 6 toppings?! At that point I would rather go to Just Salad or something else. I could make a salad at home with more toppings for much cheaper. I honestly think she got rang up wrong because again, that is her typical bowl and it has never been that much. We did not argue as there was a line. I will say inside is very clean, it's never busy (probably because of the price) and you can get it to go and eat inside. Team members are usually very nice and they are always busy doing something. There are combinations on their menu, but you can always do a create your own and put together anything you want. I went with the chicken bacon ranch, and the only thing I changed was the dressing. I love ranch, but I was super intrigued with their jalapeño green goddess dressing so went with that. The salad was delicious. It looked small but was actually very filling. The seasoning on the blackened chicken thigh was so good. The chicken was definitely my favorite part of the salad. The dressing was really good, although I didn't get much jalapeño from it. They have a good selection of unique drinks to choose from. I don't usually enjoy strawberry flavored things, but the strawberry jalapeño drink was spicy and very refreshing. I really like that they have the pre-done salads and also make your own (prices are pretty similar between both. It just depends what you want). Whenever I place an online order at this location, my food is never ready when I arrive. I always end up waiting another 10-15 minutes after checking in to get my meal. It's disappointing because it defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead. This used to be one of my favorite places, but lately the wait times have become ridiculous. If the order was placed 30 minutes ahead of time, it shouldn't only start getting prepared once I arrive. The last two times I came in, they had to make my bowl completely from scratch after I got there, and a lot of the ingredients weren't even stocked or ready, so employees had to go find and refill them while making my order. Finally made it in here! I've been eyeing this location for awhile l but we live almost 30 minutes away so it wasn't convenient until today. We definitely do not have enough salad restaurants in the area so we were eager to try. I got the southwestern salad. I swapped my chicken for the blackened chicken and I'm glad I did because I feel like it would've been not as flavorful without that. The southwest dressing had a lot of tangy flavor. Also, there's a lotttttt of arugula in this. I'd maybe get three bases next time (some romaine thrown in) to break up the arugula flavor. I took a break from work and met a friend for lunch at Crisp & Green for the first time. I like the modern atmosphere inside; it had a clean look to it. They weren't busy, though, so someone should have been cleaning the dining room tables, emptying trash and dish buckets, straightening chairs, etc. on a regular basis. Crisp & Green lets you choose from their own developed salad/bowl combinations, or you can build your own. I went with the No Prob Cobb. It included spinach, kale, roasted chicken, avocado, local farm egg, bacon, queso fresco, jalapeño, tomatoes, lemon squeeze, and jalapeño green goddess dressing. It was a good choice and tasted good, but probably could have used a bit more dressing or, better still, if they chopped up the lettuce. I used to go to a place called Chopt and they chopped up your salad as fine as you wanted it. You don't need to use as much dressing this way and doesn't have big chunks of lettuce or veggies. So, overall, it was a good experience and I liked their selections, but my salad was $15 and that's a bit out of my price range for lunchtime. Of course, that was one of the priciest salads, but I liked all of the ingredients that were included. I could have built a salad, but it probably would have been even more. They also had fruit drinks, which were only $3, so that wasn't bad. I tried the Strawberry Jalapeno and then refilled with the Pineapple Ginger. I explained to the team member at the counter that I wanted a smaller portion, and she told me I could order a kid's bowl and select a "No Prob Cobb" salad. Based on her guidance, I proceeded with my order--only to be told at the end that I couldn't do what she just said I could. When I pointed out that this was exactly what I had been told, she shrugged it off and said, "Oh yeah, but that's not the case." She then brought over the manager, who didn't acknowledge the confusion or try to make it right. There were so many options and it was great to see my salad being made directly in front of me. The açaí bowls are made in a different area and I ordered that at the register. I usually purchase the prepackaged caesar salads at Publix and they're about $6 each. The salads and açaí bowls at Crisp & Green are around $12 and at least double the size with more variety.
