We had an awesome experience at this location today. Both of our meals, the four and the six bowl were awesome. Quite tasty and fresh. Also the portions were noticeably bigger and more generous portions than we have received in the past. We were there during a little bit of a lull on a Friday afternoon, but the associates were quite attentive, and the overall the guest area was very clean and inviting. Fresh Kitchen is okay to me. I know many people LOVE them and brag about them, but I've only ever found most of what they had to offer to be fairly bland - unless you add one of their various sauces/dressings. Nonetheless, my office had two catered lunches from Fresh Kitchen last week that I, once again, still found to be okay. However, I will say, their herb balsamic dressing is DELISH. I poured it over EVERYTHING. I could have just drunk a BOWL of that dressing; that's how delightful it is. Also, I do find their grilled chicken to be well made. It has a nice flavor to it. Everything else was just OKAY. As far as service goes, I cannot speak to it as I've only ever had Fresh Kitchen at catered lunch and learns in the office. I also cannot speak to the overall space or ambiance of the space as I've actually never stepped foot into a Fresh Kitchen facility due to my catered lunch experiences. Beyond that, my overall stance still holds. They are okay. Maybe one day, I'll go in and build my own bowl and see how I feel about it. Sweet potato noodles, chard and cabbage, Lemmon garlic broccoli, grilled rosemary chicken, roasted almonds, tomatoes and coconut siracha. This was my first time trying this new place cause it's down the street from where I live. I originally thought the menu was a fixed bowl set where u know what ingredients are put into the bowl. It wasn't like that and u can create your own food bowl. So I chose the sweet potato noodles, with sweet potatoes, chick peas which were nicely seasoned, topped with a white ginger sauce. My dad has a lot of food allergies, he doesn't eat any oils and their menu here specifically states that everything is cooked in oil. So that was hard because he didn't eat at all. I would have picked another place if I had known ahead of time. That is my fault. So I had to do some guessing for macro/caloric intake tracking that I hadn't planned for either. I ordered Fresh Kitchen for delivery while visiting the area. It was a good option for me since it was squick, affordable, and offered many gluten free items. I created my own bowl and it wasn't bad. The produce tasted fresh and the GF sweet potato noodles were good. I do think it would've been better heated up though (everything was served cold including the chicken). Fresh Kitchen has always been one of my go-to spots when I want a healthy meal. I usually order the Four bowl with double brown rice, broccoli, and barbecue chicken. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was pretty disappointing. The portion size was noticeably smaller than usual, and it honestly didn't look like a Four Bowl at all. I also noticed they've switched to a smaller bowl size, but that's not really my issue. My main issue is the amount of food I got wasnt worth the price. To make matters worse, I asked for the white ginger sauce and was given something light yellow and watery that didn't taste the same. I have been going to Fresh Kitchen for a few years now. I mainly go to the Waterford and Orange Locations. Their food is just as the name suggests, Fresh! They offer a plethora of delicious and healthy options such as steak, chicken, Salmon and Vegetarian options. You can get either greens or a delicious sweet potato noodle based. They have a slew of delicious vegetables to choose from as sides and then to top off your entree a bunch of unique sauces! I personally love the Holy Kale. Love this place generally speaking. It's a little pricey, but delicious and healthy. I've always talked about how they really nailed the ingredients. Except recently, they started dropping the ball and changing things up. If it's not broke, don't fix it. They started adding cilantro, or increasing the amount of cilantro, in the noodles. To me that's a bold thing to start upping the volume on. Some people hate that. I don't, but when it's over done it ruins the bowl. They also recently got rid of what I thought to be the most popular protein in the menu - citrus chicken! Maybe I'm wrong about that, but this new rosemary one is weird and throws off the mix. I normally I wouldn't go out of my way to write a review like this, but I wanna see this place thrive as a regular. They only have 1 vegan protein which is Tofu. I went a few weeks ago, and they were out of Tofu and didn't seem like they were making anymore anytime soon, clearly didn't care that they were out. Because just having veggies instead of protein doesn't cover it, we also need to eat and deserve to enjoy a full meal we payed for. I work near FK & i cant belive I'm just doing a review for this restaurant for the first time. I normally get the kids meal because it's filling enough that I'm full until dinner time. I was lucky enough to meet the general manger of this location a few months back & she provided me with a free meal coupon where i could order the 6 protein bowl item. This comes with 2 bases , 2 veggies, 2 proteins & 1 sauce. The coupon def came in handy because I was starving and had zero interest in cooking once home. For my bases I decided to order the sweet potato noodles ( first time trying them) & spicy cauliflower rice. For my veggies i ordered a double order of lemon garlic broccoli. For my proteins i ordered bbq chicken and blackened chicken. For my sauce i went with the creamy white ginger on top. Some of the menu items have changed since i first started going to FK , but the items that were removed were replaced with some other equally delicious items. This place is amazing for vegans or people that want to maintain a healthy diet. They do sell other things like wellness juice shots and healthy sweets. I used to get the turmeric immune system shot often. The only thing that I'm always bummed about is they do NOT sell any of the items by themselves. I used to be obsessed over their spicy rice and Parmesan broccoli ( both no longer on the menu) , I wanted to order a side of just those and was told they don't sell any of the items that way ( as a single dish) . My favorites to get whenever I'm here are the sweet potato noodles, sweet potatoes, and any of their chicken options (I have more of a like for sweeter foods). All of the sauces are to die for but my favorite being the creamy white ginger. If you have a sweet tooth definitely go for the cookies, not your average chocolate chip, and if you're in luck and their in stock do the brownies!!
