This is a serious hygiene issue and really shouldn't happen at any restaurant. I told the staff and they did replace the dish, which I appreciate. However, after seeing plastic in my food, I couldn't enjoy the new bowl anymore. The trust was already gone. I hope the restaurant improves their food handling and quality control. By the end of course 3, I was ready to get my check and leave. The time in between each course was painfully slow. Next, there was absolutely no thought that went into each course. Everything that came out was convoluted with no flow in the way the courses were presented. It was clear that the chef lacked vision in what he wanted to do and it showed. They had advertised A5 wagyu but what was presented was over cooked deli meat slapped on top of a giant bed of salad or compressed on top of sushi rice. I couldn't even finish the dishes after one bite. The entire time, I couldn't help but wonder why did they have to ruin the integrity of such a delicate protein? Not once but three times. Which brings me to the next course, the wagyu burger patty itself was overcooked and the fondue sauce that it was slapped on made everything soggy and disintegrated before I could even get a bite. This was by far the worst meal I've ever had and I won't be returning. *The best part of our meal was our server who was great and very knowledgeable in presenting each course.

Guacamole was typical of what you'd expect but it is clear that the ingredients are fresh and it's home made the effort in plating was well appreciated. The chimichanga is by far the best in Wichita bar none. I was pleasantly surprised by the plating presentation of it. How it is prepared is different than what you would get at MOST authentic Mexican restaurants in the city. If you are one that sticks to what you're comfortable with when outing for Mexican I'd say this is an easy go to. What I enjoyed about the taco trio is that the server said that I could have 3 tacos all in different meats, so I obliged. He then asked if I would like salsa in ramekins on the side and I asked if he recommended. With a smile he nodded yes and so off he went. The food to order time was approximately 15 minutes, and when the plates got to the table you could tell the food is made with love. Kudos to whoever is back there cooking the delicious food. I did not know they served home made tortillas until I saw it on the menu. Both the green and red salsa for the tacos are excellent, and I recommend anyone who goes to ask for it. This was the best dish, portion was a little small Also ordered the tofu soup, seafood pancake , beef and squid bulgogi and these dishes were pretty decent as well. I asked her if she could bring a little extra beans sprouts, cilantro and basil leaves with jalapeño pieces to add to my pho, and she just didn't even charge extra for it. That kind of kindness is missing nowdays because everyone up charges for the smallest extra condiment, but here they really serve from their heart. Everything we ate was extremely fresh and tasted amazing. We loved it so much that we ordered two more vermicelli bowls to take with us for dinner!! (Our dinner was satisfying as well) And again, she packed extra condiments for free and told me not to take the leftover plate of free condiments she had given earlier. That really blew my mind. I had a special banh mi and it was good, but the bread was a little hard. My friends had the Bun Bo Hue and they said it was good but could be more spicy and flavorful. Overall, it a good Vietnamese place and worth the price!
