    I probably would NEVER use Empire again if just for the simple reason they can't give you a better…read morearrival time window for your install...I live an hour away from a completely empty house that I'm having carpet installed in and I have to sit in and empty house (NO FURNITURE) for 10 hours...yep a 10 hour window they give you.     We ordered our carpet at the end of April for an install of May 26th. On Friday the 22nd they sent…read moreall of the confirmation info over for the Tuesday install. We waited at home all day and no one ever showed. We called at 330 to determine what was going on. Empire calls back and says oh no one called you? Your carpet was on a truck that was involved in an accident on Thursday and your carpet was destroyed. We won't be installing today, the earliest we could do is Saturday but the installer will not be able to move any furniture. I asked for a discount since we now had to wait another 5 days for install and because we were charged for the moving of furniture. The agent ASSURED me that the discount would be applied and would be reflected in the final bill on Saturday. I asked to speak to a manager to verify because it didn't seem right. No manager was available because he was on vacation but again the agent ASSURED me the discount would be on the bill. Installers arrive on Saturday and lo and behold there is no discount on the bill and no notes on the account. The agent tells me that it takes 1-3 business days for a case to be closed. I explained it that was the case then it would be taken care of by Friday so why am I looking at a bill with no discounts? She couldn't answer that but explained I had to pay full price and they would call me with an update. It's now Tuesday. I call for an update and no one calls back. I call a second time and am told the case was closed out yesterday. The agent says surprisingly no one called you? I said no. She explains that there are no notes or anything in the system so she will try to figure out what is going on. She comes back on the line and says no one is answering. But she will transfer me.. 45 minutes on hold and no one has answered.
