I had a colonoscopy for the first time and was nervous about the procedure. Dr. Daneshgar and his team went above and beyond to reassure me that I was in good hands, and I was! His staff was so incredibly kind and caring towards me that it helped calmed my nerves during the procedure. I absolutely love his staff- seriously the nicest people ever! After the colonoscopy I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis. I was on medication and recovering from home. Every single day (including weekends) Dr. Daneshgar called or texted me asking how I was feeling. Do you know any other doctor who would do that?! He truly cares about his patients and I am so grateful that he is my doctor. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Since my condition was so severe, I was admitted in the hospital. Dr. Daneshagar called the hospital ahead of time and had already secured me a bed and made all the arrangements. All I had to do was check in. Now, I've never been admitted in a hospital before and dealing with a new disease is hard enough and having my doctor with me every step of the way made this entire situation easier and made me feel like I was in good hands. I was in the hospital for 5 days undergoing more aggressive treatment and infusions. Every day Dr. Daneshagar would visit me in the hospital to see how I was doing. He is the most caring and most genuine doctor that I have ever met. He is the best in his field and knows what he is doing when it comes to your health. I am so thankful that I have him as my doctor. I am now at home and feeling 100x better than when I had first met Dr. Daneshagar. A special THANK YOU to your staff!! Carole (thank you for knocking me out-MVP) , Jackie (you're the best, I couldn't have done that procedure without you), Winnie, Teresa, Monica, Lizz and Nayeli. You ladies are amazing and thank you for what you do.

This doctor saw me for a grand total of ~maybe~ 7 minutes. And this was as a first time patient, too! He didn't let me get a single sentence out, cut me off every time I spoke, and told me that what had been happening for the last couple months didn't matter -- only what my symptoms are "today." He didn't want to hear about any of the details that lead up to me being there, which would've took 5 minutes for me to explain to him. He just wanted to get to the next patient in the room, and didn't care at all about me. All he did was order me a colonoscopy/endoscopy because I told him about my family history of CRC, but I was so anxious and disappointed after this appointment that I canceled it and the follow-up afterards. Instead, I found a great new GI in Newport Beach, CA, who had a 30-40 minute consultation with me as a first-time patient, listened to my issues, explained things really nicely to me, and gave me a full plan/regimen out the door. He also ordered me the same colonoscopy/endoscopy, which I scheduled and will be doing soon. I left this new doctor's office feeling much more relieved and prepared about what to do next, and listened to/seen. If I were you, I would think twice about wasting your time for an appointment to see Dr. Naim. I was not happy with him or his practice at all, and would not recommend him to anyone I know.

My GP sent Dr. Moe to take over--something that, in retrospect, saved my life. Without going into personal details, Dr Amadpour had a hunch I had a certain manageable condition while other ER docs disagreed. Had they won out, the treatment likely would have been very detrimental to me, then and into the future. My 2-star rating has NOTHING to do with Dr. A and everything to do with his miserable practice staff. With tragically few exceptions, they are ICE COLD. You can't get a friendly worker EVER. They seem unhappy to be there, unwilling to treat patients with care and compassion. Trying calling for ANY reason. It ALWAYS goes to voicemail and those calls are ignored. I tried time and again to get my records forwarded to a new GI doc where I now live. No returned calls. Period. I even FAXED the request and never heard back. I cannot more highly recommend DOCTOR Amadpour. Sadly, you have to go through his PRACTICE to reach him. For this patient, it stopped being worth the abuse.

I scheduled my colonoscopy for the following month and that went well (as unpleasant as they are) Dr. Amadpour was very kind and I like his bedside manner. He recently did my colonoscopy, which was my third. By far the easiest process to date, save one issue I describe below. The prep was so easy this time; Dr. Eshaghian gave me the option to do a pill based cleanse 12 hours before my procedure, and it was a game changer. And according to the doctor, the results were perfect, which was not always the case with the old "drink three gallons of this horrible tasting stuff and spend the next 36 hours on the toilet" approach. The procedure only took 20 minutes and he was bedside to give me his impressions the moment I woke up. The anesthesiologist he works with is terrific, as well. All in all, a great experience save the issue below. So I highly recommend him. There is one thing to note, however. He has contracted with Valley Endoscopy Center as the place where he does his procedures. They are quite awful. Scheduling was a cluster of confusion between the Center and the doctor's office; I got different messages each time I spoke to each and it created a bit of an issue with arranging for the timing of my before- and after-care. Plus, when I arrived for the procedure (once the time was finally solidified), there were a bunch of people sitting on the floor in the hallway because the waiting room did not have enough chairs for the number of people having procedures done. And then I went in an hour behind schedule because the Center was short-staffed with nurses (which I understand is a universal problem, so I can give a pass on this one). But the doctor is a win as mentioned above, so I was willing to put up with these issues. I do hope he upgrades the Center he uses, though.

I was there only about 6 minutes and was taken to an exam room to see Dr. Weiss, mind you, It's a doctors office so don't expect the Hilton but it is a nice clean well-lit location. Dr. Weiss did a good job addressing my GI issues and we proceeded with the plan to book my colonoscopy and endoscopy. I had little to no insurance issues, but everything went smoothly. See you again in a year or 2!!!!!!! As I've said before, I highly recommend Dr. Weiss to my friends/family currently seeking a Gastroenterologist! BTW: I read one review that criticized Dr. Weiss for not wearing scrubs.. I don't care if he's not in scrubs or a doctors coat, what does matter to me is the quality of care he has provided. The question should be how competent he is and he seemed perfectly professional and competent to me. KEEP ON BEING RAD DR. WEISS!!!!!!!!!!!!
