Usually it is not a problem, but I have had instances there the receipt said NO Hamburg, yet it had Hamburg - I lived with it but the taste is different. Last month I ordered my usual and she asked instead of Hamburg, would I like something else in place of it? I asked if there was an extra charge and that was a No, so yes, I would like black olives. No problem, pizza cost the same. Today, knowing that I could get olives vs. Hamburg, I ordered the same thing and asked for the substitution. Not a problem, but the cost was more than usual - and I noted that and he said that they price had gone up. When I got home, I can see that I was charged for the Olives (there was no hamburg, so they got that right). So this time I was charged. I dont want to have to keep asking whether I will get charged for that change. The Hamburg costs more than the Olives...I had been ordering the Deluxe w/o Hamburg for years and was thrilled I could get Olives instead. The price of the pizza, with this change, has gotten to be too high and I resent the fact that I have to pay more at times depending on who takes the order. So I will be getting my pizzas now from two diff place in Methuen, which is actually far closer than driving up into NH for a pizza. :-(

This very popular and fun pizza spot has been doing popups, special events and festivals around NH. They serve up an interesting line up of Neapolitan pizzas (changes very often), dessert pizza, fries, loaded fries, chicken tendies, deadstix (breadsticks), sandwiches, and wangz (wings). The thin crust pizzas are 10" and can feed 1-2 people. I've stopped and ordered from DeadProof Pizza several times over the past few years including at Concord Market Days, Derry After Dark, Rockingham Brewing Co, 603 Brewery, Stratham Food Trucks, and at their former popup location in Downtown Manchester. People would lineup early before DeadProof was open for business and many times they would sell out of food. Their hours at this time seem limited a few days around the weekend. I've enjoyed some their pizzas (limited time) like their Send Noodz, Pork Hub, Drama Queen, The New OG and Cobbler Gobbler (dessert pizza.They had a tasty Spare Rib Sammie on their menu last year which was really good. Their Chicken Tendies are big and great with gold fever rush and silly ranch dipping sauces. Their 99 Fries topped with chopped tendies, gold rush fever, dilly ranch & scallions was also tasty and filling. I can't wait to try some more interesting food offerings from DeadProof.

Right now, it still feels like the old space with very little personality. I wasn't expecting anything over the top, but some branding or atmosphere would have gone a long way. One thing that also stood out: I placed my order at 2:23 PM and received a text that it was ready at 2:30 PM. Seven minutes for a pizza and chicken tenders seemed surprisingly fast. Maybe the kitchen is just incredibly efficient, but it did make me wonder how freshly everything was prepared, especially since the pizza didn't have the texture I expected. Drama Queen Pizza 7/10 The flavor combination was really good. I loved the ricotta, and I appreciated that the hot honey came on the side instead of making the pizza soggy or messy. The dough was cooked, but it was undercooked for the style of pizza they serve. It lacked the crispness and texture I was expecting, which took away from an otherwise tasty pizza. It was good, but not good enough to justify the $17 price tag, especially when there's strong pizza competition right down the road. Gold Fever Dream Tendies 6.5/10 I honestly don't understand the hype. I thought they were over salted but it did seem they use like a whole chicken breast so that was actually pretty good. They weren't anything spectacular, especially for $15. The Gold Fever style sauce was pitched to me like it was their take on the 99 Restaurant sauce with a little buffalo mixed in. It was fine, but definitely not mind blowing. Also, like the 99 has been like MIA forever so I honestly don't know what sauce they're talking about. Overall The pizza was definitely the better of the two items, but neither one lived up to the hype or the price tag. Between the lack of atmosphere, the pizza not having the texture I expected, the unusually fast turnaround time, and the expensive menu, I left feeling underwhelmed. Would I come back? Maybe to give another pizza a try because the flavor combinations have potential. However, honestly, I probably won't come back unless somebody requests going here.
