I have been wanting to try this pizza place for a while. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly cashier. She was so warm and inviting. The place was very clean and calm. We ordered a large cheese pizza and a steak and cheese. The steak and cheese was good, all of the cheese was at the bottom of the bun in the crack. The meat needed some flavoring. More salt and pepper on the meat and it would've been perfect. It was kind of flavorless. The bun was nice and soft. The cheese pizza the cheese was toasted to perfection. It was good. It won't be replacing my favorite pizza joint. But I was not disappointed in our lunch choice. read more

For an early dinner a friend and I decided on pizza here. Since it was 4 PM, the establishment was almost empty. I made my order at the counter and took a seat. The order (for a party of 2) for was for 2 small pizzas (forgot the exact price, was about $16 ea.) - the loaded and the chicken artichoke. These were made to order, so it took 30 minutes to arrive. These were piping hot and with slightly crisped crusts. Imagine Pizza Hut's pan pizza, but local and with much more passion and care. Otherwise, tasted like the decent local pizza place that's your default if you live around here. Visited the coast and had to stop at New England pizza on our way home. We lived in Exeter for years and then moved away so it was a nice opportunity to visit our old stomping grounds and enjoy one of our favorite restaurants. Their pizzas a huge with lots of toppings, their calzones are equally delicious. Meatballs are my favorite! The staff is always friendly and helpful. New England Pizza Restaurant I placed an online order for takeout large Buffalo chicken pizza. Arrived at the restaurant with my 8yr old and we decided to eat there. We sat down and ate and the pizza was pretty good. It had a nice crunchy crust. It was LOADED with cheese. And LOADED with crunchy large-cut chicken tenders. The cheese had a nice golden glow to it and the pizza was a pleasure to eat. Each time I got a bite of chicken I had a really nice crunch. I've said crunch like 5 times now and it's the theme here. It wasn't delivered to us with blue cheese but I asked and the girl delivered one to us. The blue cheese side was huge, and had monster chunks of blue cheese in it. I would assume being this large it should have been an extra charge but she handed it over for free. (Just an assumption....it's 2023 people, nothing is free anymore) The girl at the register was awesome. I went up and asked to purchase two drinks and she was able to add them to my order without taking my card again. More about her...she was AWESOME. She seemed to know everyone who came through the door. The "how's your family" type. She came out to the dining area (often) and checked on everyone including us, made sure everyone had what they needed, checked on the timing of numerous orders for incoming customers. From the dining area, she's the only one I hear. Thanking every customer, managing the register. Smiling at everyone. And hustling around soliciting everyone's needs, and meeting them with a smile. If I were in charge of that place reading this I would sit her down and commend her for incredible service. I wish I got her name but I hope if her boss reads this he knows who I'm talking about. 4 stars not 5 because it was good, but 5 stars is reserved for those special places I go outta my way for when I need that specific fix. read more

As a newcomer to Exeter I was looking for a moderately priced Italian eatery. There are a couple upscale places but New England Pizza seemed like a good option for an informal outing. Do not like the service set up. No waiters; a post-Covid thing?. Ordering at counter off a menu wall makes it less appealing. With takeout customers lining up the situation prompts an almost hasty selection. Thankfully, They bring the food to table. The server was good and overall the staff was helpful and friendly. There are plenty of tables but the focus appears to be on takeout, again a Covid aftermath? Did not try pizza but maybe next time. Thought spaghetti would provide a good barometer of quality. Rate it as B minus. A bit gummy and like what appears to be typical in the Exeter area, the sauce lacked nuance. This could be a very nice restaurant if it had a wait staff, something to consider in a town with an older population that prefers to be seated. read more

Sometimes you're just too tired to go back out of the hotel. After reading the reviews in which so many yelpers talked about delivery, I decided this would be the way to go for dinner as we'd had a big lunch -- even though this place was only down the road a bit. We ordered online using their app and it was pretty easy putting in all our choices -- salad dressings, pizza size, special toppings, adding in a drink, etc. The app said it would be about 45 minutes to arrive, but they also provided a tracking chart. Immediately after we ordered, the app told us they were starting our order. It seemed only 10 minutes later that a truck picture appeared saying our order was on the way. We had advised the front desk to call us when they arrived and they were there pdq. The order was exactly as we'd placed it -- a small cheese pizza with added sausage and mushrooms. It was cut into 8 small slices. And perfect for two people to share. The pizza was t the best I'd ever had, but way better than dominos. The mushrooms were fresh and the sausage was cut into thin slices. Actually liked the toppings better than the crust, but still decent. We also had ordered an antipasto salad for one -- way too large for two people even when it arrived. A mix of romaine and iceberg lettuces, celery, green peppers, grape tomatoes topped with rolls of ham, capicola, salami, and cheese on top. We had gotten both creamy Italian and regular Italian dressing. Both were good. So next time you're in the area and or feeling lazy, this may be your answer. read more

Great pizza place. I stopped in on a Sunday, early afternoon. There weren't that many people there so I didn't know what to expect. I ordered the their signature pizza and fried mushrooms. I didn't see a water option on the fountain machine, so we also purchased bottles of water. The salad arrived with a container of refrigerated salad dressing, no chicken. So I mentioned to the man it was meant to have chicken, he seemed confused. He took it back, about five minutes later brought out one with chicken, but didn't bring the dressing this time, so a third return...he brought it. Which had to be warmed in my hands a bit, since it was to thick in the container to pour on. My husband ordered a calzone full of ricotta, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and jalapeños. He said it was the best Calzone he's ever had! I ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza (no red onions, had leftovers) and it was super yummy. Clean white chicken, great sauce, I ordered it extra crispy. I ordered a small meat lovers pizza, onion rings, 1 beer and 2 waters. How can you get this order wrong? The pizza tasted like store bought frozen pizza (Totinos type) cheese didn't even melt. They didn't even make the onions rings. I brought it up to the cashier and all she said was "oh, you still want them?!" I also got charged for 2 tap waters in the plastic courtesy cups! Brought this up to them and was told they would refund this back to my card... I'm sure this is not going to happen! Just as we were leaving, the girl shows up with the onion rings and then rolls her eyes at us when we tell her we're leaving. I don't think this will be refunded either. This Is my favorite nearby pizza. It has a not-thin crust with a good sauce and great selection of toppings. I love the fresh tomatoes. The sliced garlic is sharp -watch out! The pepperoni is not too spicy but flavorable. You enter and order at the counter. Lines, even when busy, move quickly and everyone who works here is so nice. After you order (and they have subs and some pasta dishes, too), you chose a clean and comfortable table or booth in the dining area and they will deliver it to your table when ready.
