There place is absolutely disgusting and those poor animals are living in filth. There water bowls are dirty and they are running around in there own feces and cages with deceased animals... I have called and reported them and I was told Animal control and the police station are aware And they are doing something about it. I pray those animals find a better environment soon. read more

The reptile part of this shop... where do I start? glass tanks with straight heat sorces some have two heat sources on top of their enclosure... little to no water in their bowls, all of the snakes have really bad stuck sheds due to no humidity in the tanks they are laying in the worst substrate possible. One of the ball pythons have stuck shed so badly that its tail is completely curled up & dark brown with stuck shed. The bearded dragons are all dryed out & malnourished. They all look like they have tail rot, they are missing tails only have nubs. This place needs better care.! read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIFYING. There are two beautiful macaws in the back corner with their cage being covered in filth. All the birds were either very stressed out or overcrowded in cages. There were at least 50 parakeets in a cage together, the chinchillas that were used for breeding were kept in an aquarium style tank and the babies the mothers produced were kept in a separate TANK far away from the mothers. The tarantulas had cages that were 4"x6" which were way too small given the tarantulas were the size of the bottom of a body armor bottle. The fish room, where they kept small fish tanks full of fish smelled like rotting fish and sewer water. They kept different breeds of ball pythons together, the baby bunnies were kept in an aquarium on the floor near the door. The iguanas, bearded dragons and other lizards were shedding and you could tell they were unhealthy by the way the shed and the animal itself looked. There were multiple axolotls in the same SMALL fish tank. I do not recommend this place and hopefully these poor animals get the help they deserve read more

Deplorable level of animal abuse/neglect. The chinchillas are over crowded. Multiple injuries from fighting, hair loss... just awful. The reptiles are in terrible shape. I could go on... Two stars because some animals looked like they had care for, while others needed attention for sure. There were what I assume to be adult breeder rats in the back living in horrible conditions. Very small plastic containers that smelled like pee. The reptiles, though cramped, looked ok. The fish were better than some big chain stores that I have seen, but needed maintenance. The clown loaches had red gills and seemed lethargic to me. Found a few dead fish. Some fish seemed perfectly fine. Some fish were angled upward. The birds seemed to be in the worse condition other than the breeder rats. The cages were dirty and rusty. The rodent area needed attention. Gerbils were very oily, Syrian hamsters that looked like they were close to adulthood were crammed together which they should be separated when sexually mature due to aggression. Some of the mice were heavy breathing. The rodents needed more bedding to absorb pee and so there is clean bedding for nesting. The store condition wasn't good. Way over stocked with products with what felt like pathways in a hoarder house. The store smelled of ammonia as soon as you walked into the door. I did get a small headache from walking through the store that I assume was from the ammonia smell. The store floors were dirty with dust, feathers, and bird seed. Fish water on the floor would get on the rocks and driftwood stored on the floor that were for sale. Many products were dusty and I couldn't tell if it was because it sat for so long or because of the store being dirty and it naturally fell onto the product. Many of the enclosures that housed animals for sale were too small. Wood chips seem to be the favored bedding for most enclosures. The puppies were in their own separate area in a gated like area and they seemed ok. A suggestion I would give is to get rid of the tons of products to make room for larger enclosures for the larger animals and for animals you have multiples of that can be housed safely together. Or, downsize what animals you sell. Get new cages for the birds. Clean the floors. Keep product off of the floors if you expect to sell them. Look into tips on youtube for running a petstore cheaply but also ethically. Maybe look into diy enclosure builds that would be more appropriate for your rodents and birds. read more

We drove by and decided to stop. I would give no stars if I could. It was a big mistake. None of the reptiles had UVB on them. They had a veiled chameleon that was turning brown due to not being cared for. They had cages stacked on each other which seemed super dangerous and gross. They had birds in the back of the store that were loud and close together. Most of their products had dust on them like they hadn't been touched for a while. There were even some animals mislabeled. Would not go to the store and I'm not sure how they're open. read more

One of the worst pet shops out there. If you're purchasing from here BEWARE. Non-Vaccinated animals, No Health Records, No breed education what so ever. I've inquired about animals for sale here before and the staff admits none of these animals have health records or have ever been examined by a vet. Please please please please go through a real breeder or adopt. This place is scum, the worst of the worst. read more

We visited the store to check out maybe getting a family pet. What we found was a very dirty building that smelt awful. Beyond the animals being all severely over priced, they were not cared for well and need bathed. I'm amazed this place is allowed to stay open with the condition it was in. Beyond that we were not offered customer service in any way and were ignored. read more

I was disgusted to see how the animals were being treated -- ESPECIALLY the reptiles and rodents. Guinea pigs don't have hay. Axolotls have no filters in their tanks. Over a dozen turtles are kept in one tiny aquarium. Just because they aren't dogs and cats doesn't mean they can be treated this way! I hope this establishment gets closed down. read more

Employees sold us a male guinea pig and told us it was a female, not only was the guinea pig sick when purchased but it was the wrong gender. We inquired about a refund and were given a female guinea pig instead. This pig was also sick when purchased. On top of that, employees are rude and unwilling to help. read more

So after my search for about 5 years for a Sphinx kitten and turned down by many because I have a pit bull. Who is in fact a huge baby. I came across critter corner who allowed me to purchase a kitten from them and held onto it until I could drive from an hour away. This was about 5/6 months ago and when we got him he had a little cold and the owner reimbursed us and was quick to do so. I was skeptical upon reviews but my kitten is healthy and happy! Matter a fact he has changed my families life and for that I am forever greatful. This was a dream of mine. My pit bull and kitten are best friends. My kids adore him. We are actually patiently waiting for you to post another for sale. He is healthy we have had tests done and he is in fantastic health. So I just felt they needed a review based on experience. the poor puppies are kept in aquariums and covered in their own filth. sphynx kittens were being sold here and they haven't been scanned for HCM or even been to the vet which is a death sentence for these expensive cats. buying an animal from here only supports backyard breeders and perpetuates the problem we have with animals ending up in shelters and being euthanized! adopt don't shop. if you're going to shop, go through a reputable breeder that has health records, keeps the animals up to date on shots, and can tell you how to best care for the animal! each breed has its own quirks and things you need to know about it before bringing it into your home and making sure it has a long, healthy, happy life. the pet store won't give you this information! they're only out to make a profit off of "cute" "baby" animals. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Unless your getting crickets always stocked. Their reptiles they do not know anything about. Manager is rude. Tried several times to relay a message about a specific reptile and on the 5th time after talking to the manager nothing much had changed. I rescued the reptile it was skin and bones when I got it home. I gave it one star for the crickets! The reptile now is good hands and healthy thanks to me. read more

I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from this "business". I purchased a puppy from this establishment and they told me false information. Made me pay for a vet bill that was unnecessary and shots. They refused to reimburse me my money and the owner was completely rude! I've heard things about this place and came face to face with it. I have cared for animals as a professional for many years now and wouldn't buy anything from this store on a dare. I tried to get the USDA to check it out, but it seems I have been ignored. The poor animals in there don't deserve the treatment they get. The place is only interested in money, not the welfare of their animals. I would love to see them closed down. Throughout the years I have bought the majority of my puppies there. The staff and owner are very knowledgeable and helpful. They all seemed to love and care for the animals in the shop. All of my dogs have lived a very long life without health problems due to breeding. So I realize it's easy to write hateful comments but my experience has been a positive one. I will buy another puppy from there when the time comes.
