I can't say enough about the great care we have gotten on our many dogs and now one of our foster dogs who had a bad spay experience at a Nashville vet clinic. She had an internal tear that wasn't fixed correctly during the spay and she was closed up. the vet clinic called and said everything went wonderful and she was ready to go all was great. When in fact it was not and she started bleeding internally on the trip home from the vets office. I called the Nashville vet office and told them what was happening they told me to rush her to an emergency clinic ASAP and thank God Dr. Claire was available at Crocker Animal hospital w/ Dr. Hannah. ER surgery on her till 830 9 o'clock at night to save her. Vet spent the night there to make sure she was OK in ICU she stayed there for three days. Can't say thank you enough for saving her life.

Do not take your pet here. Way overpriced and the staff does not treat you very well. They are just borderline rude.

I've spent the last few months letting my Pomeranian's coat grow in order to counter the butchering…read moreshe endured from another groomer. When I called to set up the appointment I recounted our experience with the other groomer, and the employee I was speaking with was appalled at my story. I asked if their groomers were skilled in scissor-cutting double-coated dogs. She asked me to hold while she consulted the groomer. As it turns out, the groomer who took care of my dog has owned Pomeranians in the past and is well-versed in how to groom them properly WITH scissors. So I made the appointment and was told that it would probably be only 60 to 90 minutes. That was surprising for a bath, haircut, and nail trim...or maybe I'm just used to the other groomer and their 3 hour grooming windows. Riley's even calls to give you a 15 minute heads up that the grooming is almost complete. My girl looked good when I went to pick her up. She had a bath (presumably with unscented doggy shampoo since she didn't smell like an exotic dancer.) She even had a little bow in her hair. That was a nice touch. Maybe next time I'll ask them to paint her toenails. The most important thing is that she made my baby look like a Pomeranian again. It's gong to take a while longer to get her coat fully restored, although it may never grow back properly 100%, but the groomer was able to even things out so it doesn't have that weird look that we'd had before. At any rate, I'm pleased with the job Ms. Jackie did, and we'll be back.

I am leaving this review after a deeply distressing experience that other pet owners deserve to be…read moreaware of. Earlier the same morning, White House Animal Clinic examined my cat and charged nearly $700, treating his condition as an upper respiratory infection. That evening, his condition worsened into respiratory distress, and I called the clinic seeking urgent guidance. I explained that we had already been seen that morning and that we did not have the funds for a specialty emergency hospital in Nashville. I was first told to take him there anyway. When I said this was not financially possible and asked what options existed locally, I was advised to bring him in so they could euthanize him. This recommendation was made over the phone, without discussion of stabilization, without referral to a closer clinic with oxygen support, and without exploration of alternatives. When I questioned how euthanasia could be suggested under these circumstances, the recommendation was simply repeated. For context, we sought care elsewhere. My cat received oxygen, IV fluids, and fever management. Further evaluation showed the issue was not simply an upper respiratory infection, but involved a bite wound, FIV, and a dangerously high fever. He survived the night and is now recovering at home. I understand that medicine is complex. What I cannot accept is the way this emergency was handled -- without compassion, without options, and without appropriate referral after significant same-day charges.
