I bought everything from tools to garden supplies, batteries of all types and even one year we got our Christmas tree there. On this most recent visit, I got a key fob replacement battery which was easy to replace on my own - I've traditionally paid a dealership or batteries Plus triple what it cost me to replace the battery myself. Anytime I've bought bulk items like mulch or water softener salt, they've loaded everything directly into my trunk. As a resident of nocatee, this store is so convenient. The employees are so friendly and kind and so helpful and caring and always want to help and always smile and so welcoming and and love this place so much I get all my pots and planets and so clean and organized and sanitized and neat and all kinds of things and planters and so joyful and amazing and it is like a castle and absolutely INCREDIBLE PLACE!! I have to praise the staff at this location. Everyone it's observing social distancing while providing outstanding customer service. I have visited a couple of times in the past few weeks and I always find someone that can direct me and provide more information about gardening and general maintenance for my home. I gladly have supported Cronin Ace hardware as a small business. However, despite the record high pandemic numbers, the employees are not required to wear masks, and refuse to, inside the store which is blatant disregard for the health, safety and welfare of society. Assistance apparently varies quite a bit at this location. Ive had times where every couple minutes someone asks me if I need help. Tonight I actually did need assistance, because i couldn't find the part I was looking for. No staff available except at the checkout counter and at paint. I walked back to paint and asked for help, and I got a "I'll see if I can send someone back there for you", in a tone that it was pretty clear that no one would be coming. Poor customer service. Bought an item at another ACE across town. Item was broken and I brought it into this location as it is right around the corner from my house. I wanted to exchange it for store credit and purchase a higher grade item (why would I replace it with same item if it was not right there first time??) - I was told that I had to drive 45 minutes across town to separate location. No thanks - I'll just go to Lowe's from now on when I need something. I will never shop here again. And yes I understand they are owned separately, but it is the same name on the building. It's the ACE brand name. Y'all need to figure out your internal operations and make this right for your external guests!!! read more

So I'm a super fan of this store and the location. Unfortunately for my wallet I really love it. So let's start there...it is expensive. I've yet to find something here that I can't find elsewhere for a cheaper price....that being said it is literally minutes from me so convenience is why I'm not so upset about paying a little extra. Everyone here is super helpful, but that does get overwhelming at times. On any given visit I will be asked at least 10 times by different people if I need help. There is an Ace rewards program you can join for free. This is not as large as the Ace on San Jose (that one will knock your socks off) but for this location I am very happy to have them! read more

I brought in 12 screens for repair and was quoted $25-30 per screen. This would have been $360. They charged me $495. When I questioned them as to why it was so much more they said it took longer. It would have been nice to get a phone call ahead of time explaining what the extra $135 was for. Instead he just said that's what it cost. Very poor customer service. Will not be back. read more

Great store for pretty much about anything. Don't let the word Hardware deceive you, the gift shop, auto isle, and others make this place pretty reliable when it comes to day to day shopping. The store is clean, associates are knowledgeable and very friendly, and if they don't know something they will make sure to ask the right person. In some big box stores you sometimes get a plumber or painter helping you in the electric department ( I know, I used to work at one).
