My Co-op in Huntington Village was hard hit by Hurricane Isaias…read more We had 3 giant trees come down in the storm: 1 wrecked our new fence and crushed our new patio set, a second tree from the other side of our fence crashed into a third tree in our courtyard and both giants smashed into our building, causing a hole in our roof while both hung dangerously above our walkway and building entrance, threatening further damage and posing a major safety hazard. The NEXT DAY @ 9am!!! our property manager, Ronni Osman, showed up with a 4-man crew to remove the trees from the building and spent the entire day working to remove the debris -- all while our region struggled with major damage to roadways and power lines. Even though we only signed with them 1 year ago and nobody even hoped to get anyone to come to do tree work in the aftermath of this regional devastation, Ronni Osman of Einsidler Management saw the extent of our damage and put us at the top of the list to get us help. (We're a small property [only 26 units] & they manage over a hundred properties.) The crew returned again over the next several days and completely repaired the roof (it looks better than new!), cleared the remaining debris and made repairs to our fence. The transition to Einsidler from our previous management company of over 20 years met with considerable opposition from some residents, but after this even the die-hards have been converted (the leader of this "opposition faction" even spent hours sitting with our Property Manager during the repairs and heaped the highest accolades on Ronni, Einsidler Mgt. and the crew)! When we needed help, esp. with something big, Einsidler was there for us!!!

As a shareholder in a past life with extreme agita, frustration bombarded with fraudulent response…read moreof buyers who bypass our realtor to directly go to the seller (myself and my former love) days after our authorized realtor publicly listed our property in MLSI's database. The drawbacks of MLSI is the impersonalization as it's a mass database of property listings without much specific details as name of managing agent of the building or length of managing agent's courtship with the building. MLSI does however, dutifully notes the status of the property as "in contract" , "new listing", or "sold." Long Island Board of Realtors, Inc.'s web site contains a vast of resources for newbie home buyers or veteran home buyers, which are useful in settling down either as a start-up family or an established family re-locating to create a new chapter. Such information obtain from MLSLI's web site are: find a home; map search; open house search; rental properties; find commercial and land; sold properties; neighborhood info; about Long Island; housing statistics; Long Island links; school information; mortgage information; buyer/seller Info; real estate news; real estate termiology lingo; homes services directory; and Nassau & Suffolk plus Queens resources. MLSI provide newbie buyers and veteran shareholders with psychographics, demographics, geographics, and economic status of areas according to zip code which is available. Consider Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. a virtual realtor factory of facts and data in a factory style without the personalization of a human being, thus four stars.

However, the break room didn't offer much in the way of "break" food. Just 1 machine that had slim pickings. The receptionist wasn't a top banana either. I hate it when you ask the first point of contact - receptionist, operator, secretary, doorman etc. "where can i get a bite to eat around here", and they reply "No idea" Really? Don't you work here? Has no one ever asked you that question before? Don't you EAT? Grrrrrrrr.

I've submitted orders for Nassau County a handful of times now. With each order, Maryann has responded within 10 minutes and the turn around time for the order hasn't exceeded two days - it's usually within 24 hours. She has also been very easy to easy and pleasant to communicate with. I've had orders that other title companies might typically be confused about, such as finding a vesting deed for a condo building property, not for the building or units themselves. There wasn't even a question about my request, Maryann and the researcher just took care of it. Michael, the owner, has clearly put together a great team. I highly recommend Hallmark. I want to write a good review every time an order is fulfilled.

Yet Realty Warehouse is a for profit realtor, whose express mission statement is; "origination and participation in the acquisition of distressed real estate". No way to reconcile these two opposing concepts. I can't vouch for the other reviewer, but it does not surprise me one bit, knowing what I now know about them. They have been soliciting me for almost a year. They try to steer me, as they probably do others, into a short sale. They make no money if you do a loan mod, nor can they pick from your bones if you fight legally in the appellate court. They have been dangling raw meat in front of me in the form of a "Legal Assistance Grant". So they will "grant" $5000 to pay the legal fees on a short sale, of which they will make money on. So they aren't really putting up anything. When I advised them I have an attorney representing me in my appeal, and that if their grant is a real thing, then send the 5k to my attorney on my behalf to help finance my legal battle in the appellate court. no reply from RebuildNY on that and I didn't expect a reply. BEWARE, this is a bottom feeder company, looking to take advantage of the unfortunate circumstances of people facing foreclosure who are on their last legs. They present themselves as a last option for help, but they help themselves to whatever money they can make from you..
