I really wanted to love this place. The tech who handled Zeus's February dental was an absolute…read moresweetheart and I will always appreciate how she treated him. But the overall experience was a failure at almost every level that matters. Three visits. I spoke to the actual veterinarian exactly once -- briefly, at the first visit in January. Every other interaction was through the front desk. In May, a receptionist told me my cat had been diagnosed with stomatitis and gum disease and had already received two injections -- over $70 worth -- without anyone calling me first for consent. (They DID call me about bloodwork that same visit. So they know how to ask. They just didn't.) When I asked what stomatitis was, she compared it to a canker sore. Then said bring him back in two weeks if he's not better. That's it. No treatment plan. No written diagnosis. Nothing. I have been requesting his complete medical records since May 26th. It is now June 14th. His new vet has confirmed they have received nothing. I've had to piece together what's happening with my cat through my own research because this clinic's communication is that poor. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Examining Board. I never wanted it to come to that. I just wanted to know what was wrong with my cat, and I've done nothing but worry and freak out simply because their communication and ethics are so poor. Please, don't take your beloved pet there. Use Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital instead. They're my new vet home, and they are WONDERFUL.

Most recently, my 9-year-old Shih Tzu mix had a dental cleaning, and Dr. Rucker was amazing. He kept me updated on his dental health, explained everything clearly, and gave great advice on how to take care of his teeth moving forward. It really made me feel confident that my dog was in great hands. You can tell the team truly cares about the animals they treat. I'm very grateful for the care they've given my dogs over the years. Highly recommend Dr. Rucker Dr. Haddock Dr.Washington and the entire staff!

He cries if they take too long to come and get him out of the car. Everyone loves him and takes such good care of him. When the pandemic started, they changed operating procedures to keep their staff safe, which meant that parents couldn't go in with their fur babies. I was concerned that he would be scared and was nervous about not being able to be with him. The vets always come out to the car to let me know what's going on and what they're doing for him, to hear any concerns I may have, and to communicate to ensure that we're on the same page. A few weeks ago, we saw some of the staff members out in public. They recognized Orson and he was giving them so many kisses. It was just more reassurance that they were taking great care of my baby. We've been with this location for 2 years and have even left him for doggy day care a few times; I drive from Bartlett to take him Downtown for his appointments. He's always been happy to go back, whether to play or get shots, and it makes me so happy to know they're taking care of all of their patients with love.
