But the overall experience was a failure at almost every level that matters. Three visits. I spoke to the actual veterinarian exactly once -- briefly, at the first visit in January. Every other interaction was through the front desk. In May, a receptionist told me my cat had been diagnosed with stomatitis and gum disease and had already received two injections -- over $70 worth -- without anyone calling me first for consent. (They DID call me about bloodwork that same visit. So they know how to ask. They just didn't.) When I asked what stomatitis was, she compared it to a canker sore. Then said bring him back in two weeks if he's not better. That's it. No treatment plan. No written diagnosis. Nothing. I have been requesting his complete medical records since May 26th. It is now June 14th. His new vet has confirmed they have received nothing. I've had to piece together what's happening with my cat through my own research because this clinic's communication is that poor. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint with the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Examining Board. I never wanted it to come to that. I just wanted to know what was wrong with my cat, and I've done nothing but worry and freak out simply because their communication and ethics are so poor. Please, don't take your beloved pet there. Use Jonesboro Family Pet Hospital instead. They're my new vet home, and they are WONDERFUL.

Quickly they rushed our cat to the back and said he could be fixed. I honestly thought no way, this doctor must overestimate his skill. Was I ever wrong!! After a SIX hour surgery, Mittens was stable. He had to have a massive amount of work done. I do not personally believe many doctors would have attempted this. More so than the doctors competence, was the entire staffs true love of animals. You can see it in everyone's eyes. They felt horrible for our cat, and just wanted to save him. After the surgery, we kept our cat there to heal (it's an outside cat and preferred it stayed till fully healed). Every day, I was called with an update, and was allowed to come visit daily, with my son, and wife. By their reactions and comments, I have no doubt they gave our Mittens attention every day. And personally believe they all cared about him. And have since been called to make sure he is ok, and adjusting well.

The inside is nice, modern, and clean. The staff is always so friendly and kind. The folks who greet you when you walk in and help with payment and appointments, the nurses and techs, and the doctors... everyone there is so kind and welcoming. They have always treated my cats as if they were their own pets. I unfortunately had to put one of my cats down there and the love and compassion they showed me and my pet was so appreciated. They often make processes that are traditionally difficult more easy. I have to buy medicated prescription food and the vet is able to connect with Amazon so I can order the food on my phone and have it sent to my door without needing to go to the vet. They are just amazing. We've seen Doctor Haddock the most but everyone we've met with has been exceptional. You can trust this place with your fur babies. They will treat them like family.
