So happy to be here for a couple of months. First, they are very accommodating to your needs. Since I am a short-timer, my payments and sign-on is different than most. Not a problem at all. Jennifer is so nice and welcoming. I have actually had nothing but great experiences will all the trainers. I wish I had more time here! I have found all levels and abilities in the classes. Makes it better for people like me who are just getting into it or back at it. The box area itself is great. The layout is awesome and plenty of room. Love the music played and WODs have been kicking my arse (LOVE!). Great location too. Just minutes away from the YMCA and centrally located in Kenosha. Great for a drop-in or sign up and try it for four months! You get a week to try it out and see if you like it before you commit fully. I highly recommend you do this. Another tip, bring gloves and a belt. You never know when you will need them. There are also kids classes which look really cool. Check the website for more information or call.

Oh, and good equipment and facilities. CrossFit Kenosha has all of these in abundance. On top of that, the members are friendly and motivating, the music usually pretty good (as far as CrossFit music goes), schedules very accessible, and the rates are very reasonable. I also think the lighting is very good. Some gyms have those awful fluorescent lights which give me a headache. But this gym has something else, which -- no joke -- makes everyone look more attractive and yet does not contribute to my migraines. Too good to be true? Well, there are things they could work on. I can't think of more than one right now. Which is that they don't have a place to refill your water bottle, aside from a bathroom sink. But if that's the worst thing about this place... For some perspective, I've been doing Xrossfit since 2013 and have worked out all over the country.

I really wanted to like this place, but my experience has been disappointing. I felt pressured to…read morepurchase a large amount of branded products ($400) because I was told I couldn't use anything else in their saunas. Scammy- it's a yoga mat, and a towel but I can bring in any kind of water bottle, headphones and my cell phone.. That didn't sit right with me, and it made the sign-up process feel very sales-heavy rather than supportive. The staff during my visits seemed young and unprofessional at times. The front door is extremely difficult to open- it's like broken.. and they have a special system to get in which is fine but fix the door! . . You're locked into a year contract for $54 a month. If you need to freeze, you can freeze for $9 a month (funny you have to pay even if you have medical restrictions limiting you for a month or so). . Cancelling will run you $100 plus the $9 you paid for the month you couldn't be there. (Even with medical restrictions/Dr notes the $100 fee still applies) It was just $$$ out the window. I was a sucker. Also- they only showed women instructors and women were primarily the only ones at the gym.. so I felt a little more comfortable but FYI this gym allows men and women.

This place is amazing I love the staff they always do a great job of explaining things and making…read moreyou feel comfortable. Most people have an issue with cancelling but it's usually because they want to get their fees waved for whatever reason. HOTWORX does not play favorites they are fair in all they do, they explain that there is a 6 month billing commitment, after that you can cancel at anytime to avoid cancellation fee. I find that the people who enjoy it most are the ones who are consistent and with the workouts planed out and scheduled all you have to do it literally just show up no excuses. 24/7 access unlimited classes, this place is great you sweat in half the time of a regular workout. This place is always being well kept staff is always cleaning and always very positive. BEWARE people will try to find a reason to discourage HOTWORX yes they only allow HOTWORX branded materials main reason being the saunas reach a very high temperature and the material are made to insure they don't melt. But your health is an investment they also have a rental system if you can't afford to buy your own materials which is really nice. Try it for yourself!

I have tried gyms before and even a personal trainer. Wisco fit is the first place to get me excited about working out and to actually have the motivation to stick with it. The staff is amazing, every coach is there for you and wants to see you succeed. The other members are also awesome and will motivate the hell out of you, especially when you're struggling. Never done CrossFit before? Doesn't matter! I didn't know the first thing about it but everyone is so helpful and welcoming. I can't say enough good things about this place and I really hope they can continue on after all this Covid stuff has passed. Try this place out, you will be so glad you did.

There are a variety of programs going on in the gym, not just CrossFit. Soon as it turns 10pm all patience goes out the window and she is quick hounding people to get up and leave. She shows no consideration! My experiences with her have been short and I am quick to understand closing time. Today however, her behavior was cruel. Because it was pouring rain outside I was putting all my belongings in my bag so they don't get wet. She hovered over me until she could rush me plus other members who are waiting for rides out into the pouring rain. She stood at the OPEN door staring at me waiting for my ride to pull up to the front of the building. kid you not by the time I got into the car and open this yelp app it was 10:05 pm. I completely understand there is a closing time but this behavior towards members is simply unacceptable and cruel. I hope by writing this it can help the fit nation team provide better customer service to its members :)
