I was nervous to start working out with Kevin, but he was extra attentive to my back and my form, and we started working out with bodyweight, always making sure that we adjust so I never felt any pain. A year later and I have almost no back pain (literally I think he did more for me than my physical therapist ever did). I'm squatting up to 60/70 pounds now, my benchpress has probably tripled at this point. I simply called to ask about the process for canceling my membership and instead of explaining it professionally, she immediately gave me attitude. When I asked if there was someone else I could speak to after she put me on hold to verify the information she was giving me, she became completely unhinged and told me there was no one else because she was the manager. The entire interaction was unnecessary and incredibly uncomfortable. No customer should be treated this way for asking a basic question about their membership. Now I'm stuck in a contract with a place I don't even feel comfortable walking into. As the owner of a franchise, I would not want someone with this level of unprofessionalism representing my business or interacting with paying customers. Customer service matters, especially when handling concerns about memberships and contracts.
