My original plan was simple--I thought I would stick to the tread classes and ease my way back in. However, that plan was quickly thwarted by none other than Coach Georgia. After just a few classes, I realized that Coach Georgia has created something special. She has built a true sense of community. From the moment you walk into the studio, you can feel her energy--and the energy of the members who regularly attend her classes. Coach Georgia is all about helping members reach their fullest potential. Whether she's encouraging us with her trademark "Come on!" or reminding us to "Add it if you got it," her enthusiasm is contagious. She works the entire studio, making her rounds, sharing information about upcoming events and signature workouts, and checking in to make sure everyone is doing well. I'll admit, I was trying to avoid the weight floor and stick exclusively to tread classes. When Coach Georgia noticed, she gently encouraged me by letting me know that whenever I was ready, she would help me with proper form and selecting the right weights. There was never any pressure--just a genuine offer of support. Her confidence in what my body could accomplish and her willingness to help me get there was incredibly encouraging. And to top it all off, her music is fire. Whether it's a themed playlist like "Drake Day" or "Justin vs. Justin," she knows exactly how to keep the energy high and the workout fun. Between the great music, the laughs, the supportive atmosphere, and the feeling of walking away stronger than when I arrived, Coach Georgia's classes have become something I genuinely look forward to. She's not only helping me enjoy my workouts--she's helping me stay committed to my overall fitness journey.

I felt completely safe with their COVID measures and was warmly received by everyone there. These guys truly care about the clients here. One of the other things I noticed here was how diverse the community was! Come one come all! Having been in the CrossFit scene since '09, I've seen a fair share of gyms. This one definitely stands out as doing things right and knowing how to help the community. If I lived locally, I would buy memberships for my parents because I can tell they would be taken care of. This is the type of gym where the new beginner getting to the gym just for health and longevity can train and be taken care of by experienced coaches, while the competitive athlete is able to train at the same time! The instructors make weight lifting accessible for anyone ; I'd never lifted before and was a bit nervous, but they made me so comfortable. As a woman who's never lifted, I get apprehensive at crossfit gyms and other places because they are so male dominated with testosterone fueled masculine energy. But here, I've been delighted to see so many women attend the classes -- in fact, I've been in a few women-only classes. And while it's accessible, it's still rigorous. I've learned so much and gotten way stronger. Honestly, this gym is what I'll miss the most when I move!

Upon arrival I told the young female receptionist I had joined online through One Pass and probably needed to sign my waiver, download their app for check ins (I assumed), and get class information, etc. Instead of welcoming me in any way she told me twice they don't do One Pass. I tried assuring her I had received confirmation (from Club Pilates). She asked if perhaps my membership was through Class Pass because they didn't participate with One Pass. I told her I was given a member code to give to them. While I searched my phone for the code she exasperatedly asked for my name. It was at that time she put down the towels she was folding. She looked on her computer, and said, she found it. I signed the waiver, asked my questions - including how much private lessons cost? She replied, "oh they cost a lot of money." She never told me how much. I left. I felt so unwelcome. I wondered if she just didn't want to do her job or didn't want me there. Her sheer lack of effort, condescending, and lackadaisical attitude made me wonder should I cut my losses and find another gym? After careful consideration I decided that she didn't get to decide my fate so I scheduled my first class with Madi and loved it! I haven't seen that receptionist since and hopefully she's gone. Lol. The gym is small and intimate with reformer machines. Classes range from beginner to advanced pilates daily. The location is at the Outlets near Peets Coffee with shared parking. Like the gym but minus 2 stars for the front desk representative.
