I always leave feeling like I accomplished something. I love that feeling! I am the least physically fit, athletic person that you'll ever meet, but I feel comfortable there. The environment is welcoming, friendly and supportive! I never feel self-conscious about where I'm at in my CrossFit journey! This is by far the best CrossFit gym for anyone looking to check-out this type of workout for the first time. Your couldn't be in better hands! I recommend it for ANYONE!

CF has somewhat of a reputation for being elitist in the fitness world, and I'm not on board with that. Some of the CF "culture" can be a little over the top sometimes. However, the workouts are AMAZING and you can see some great results rather quickly. ARC does NOT give off any of those "vibes". They are a much more relaxed gym with members ranging from all different levels of fitness. The owner, Kyle, is really down to earth and is excellent at programming workouts that are the perfect amount of cardio/strength training. Workouts are always challenging but never horrible enough to make you not ever want to come back. He scales workouts to everyone's level, which is not only helpful, but necessary. Not everyone in here looks like the Hulk either, which is comforting. At this gym, they don't make members feel bad for not lifting "more weight" or making people do more than they should be doing. I've seen some poor coaching at other places and that's how people get hurt (refer back to elitism). They encourage members to challenge themselves but also don't let ego get in the way of your physical safety. Come here, get a great workout, and meet some new people. Also, most places give you your first workout free to try--ARC lets you try an entire WEEK for free. Cool!

It is made clear that everyone of any skill level is accepted here.   The trainers are great. They are motivating and encouraging and can offer modifications on any movement as well as quickly troubleshoot problems with form. Nothing is more infuriating for me when I see others doing movements incorrectly and unsafe at a gym and the 'coach' just walks on by. I believe you can get "a good workout" at any gym but something that especially sets them apart from the rest is their focus on attitude and the promotion of a positive mindset. They also place a huge emphasis on LONGEVITY and taking care of your body, not just lifting the heaviest and being super competitive. It's about whole body wellness here (mind, body, etc) and I so appreciate that angle. This is a gym for everybody and they don't shame you if you don't (yet) have the skill level of an elite athlete. You will not find elitism here and it's very refreshing. They will not only transform that bod, they will transform you from the inside out. You will feel at home and welcome here, like you are amongst family. They truly love their people and care about their health and wellbeing.
