Great facility. Friendly and welcoming community. Knowledgeable coaches. Great if you're a beginner or someone with a lot of experience.

Luckily, we were only 10 minutes from Gym 5, and my older sister knew someone who worked there. The front desk staff was super helpful and welcoming--they made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a quick tour. The gym's setup is fantastic! Cardio is upstairs, while everything from weights to outdoor rec and boxing setups is downstairs. I especially loved the outdoor workout space--it's such a nice touch. The gym was super clean, well-organized, and had a respectable, positive environment. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The East Nashville Anytime Fitness took it upon themselves to transfer my membership from my "home" gym to their location. They sent me a "friendly" email "welcoming me" to their gym even though I did not ask or consent to the transfer. They then charged me $59.99 without authorization for the transfer plus some "enhancement fee." Since I did not authorize the transfer, I asked them to cancel my membership and reverse the charge. They were non responsive and I was forced to reverse the charge with my CC company. Instead of accepting that I declined the transfer (which is my right pursuant to the contract), they referred it to a debt collection agency. This is not right. Save your money and go somewhere else that isn't sleazy. p.s. Their gym smells like feet.

I love the small feel of the gym, but it's not too crowded either which is awesome. So far no creepy people which is so appreciated lol. This gym has a wide array of cardio machines (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes), strength/free weights (squat racks, plates loads, dumbbells), and even functional training elements (kettlebells, trx bands, and battle ropes). I believe they offer small group classes and personal training sessions as well, although I haven't taken advantage of those amenities. My only gripe so far is that they need a few more sets of the dumbbells (5's-15's) and a rack of straight barbells next to the EZ curled barbell rack.

This studio SUCKS!!! I've been an OTF member for two years and I'm cancelling my membership simply…read morebecause I have had such a bad experience that I refuse to set foot in the door another time. I won't beat around the bush--the dealbreaker for me is how strict they are about their late policy which reflects absurdly poor customer service. Across OTF, there is a 5 minute late period, which I am obviously aware of and understand. The issue is that, at this studio, even if you are LITERALLY 10 seconds over 5 minutes late they will not let you in class. As in, if you sign up for a 7:15 class and walk in at 7:20 they will turn you away because, in their words, they can't let you in "the second the clock hits 7:20". The first time I was turned away I was frustrated but ultimately acknowledged it was my own fault. However, the second time it happened, it was because their main entrance was blocked due to construction - which members WERE NOT WARNED ABOUT beforehand - forcing me to do a lap around an entire block to get to a different entrance. I would have been on time but this made me about 30 seconds over 5 minutes late. Even though I asked them to consider the current situation, they refused to let me in. It is truly unfathomable to me why you can't offer a paying member grace in that situation when it is entirely management's own doing that it happened. I know I will probably get some passive aggressive response about "policy" and "safety" and they'll say they were nice for not charging me, but none of that justifies being strict down to the second when I have taken time out of my life to try to get in a workout. I can understand being turned away after, say, 7 minutes and I know that they have to draw the line somewhere, but you really can't even apply an ounce of nuance to the situation? How can you claim to be supporting people's fitness journeys when you won't even let them attend the classes they are PAYING FOR??? Quite simply I refuse to give more money to an establishment that has such absurdly poor customer service. It's really a shame because I like the workout and have made a lot of progress after two years -- it's sad to have poor customer service be the reason for cancelling but I am quite simply not getting the product I'm paying for. Beyond that issue, I feel like there is much less of a welcoming atmosphere here than at the Midtown studio, which is where I attended the past two years. Even after three months of taking classes 2x/week, nobody knows my name. Every time I was late I was treated like a kindergartener getting slapped on the wrist, not a grown adult who has other things going on in their life and just wants to have an hour to improve themselves. But hey, maybe they would have been nicer to me if my membership were based at this studio instead of Midtown! My advice is: if you're looking for a fitness class in East Nashville check out the Margaret Maddox YMCA, Burn Boot Camp or Seven Minutes. If you're looking for an OTF studio from out of town, definitely check out Midtown or West Nashville. Those studios will actually treat you like an adult and valued member :)

I came a second time for the 7:15am class but was late I believe it was 7:22am when I arrived, the desk person was in the bathrooom, and the woman instructor told me I couldn't join the class. My kids bus was late this morning but I did a lot the night before and the morning of to make sure I'd make it to the class on time. I wasn't told about the five minute (yes just five minutes) grace period. I left there and went to the ymca who has drop in classes and understands that people have lives and are trying their best. I'm a single mom and really looked forward to that workout. Oh well. The ymca is for families , OrangeTheory is for people with privilege. Now if that's you, maybe you have a nanny or support in life to make it at the exact time class starts then join orange theory. God forbid something comes up for you the be 7minutes late.

The screens show the workout so it's nice to follow along. As someone who isn't the most experienced in fitness, I felt comfortable and there is usually a coach who will help with adjusting weights or providing modifications when needed. It's also nice that you are doing the workouts "with other people", but you have your own lane to do your own thing. I also love that they have an infrared sauna and two lanes for open gym. Talk about flexibility for our busy schedules! There's a class every 7 minutes for pretty much an entire day (even in the middle of the day), so this allows me to come whenever I have time and I will never miss a class here. Ashley, who is the owner, is the absolutely best! She made my friend and I feel so welcomed all week. We love to see a woman-owned gym and she's just an amazing person! I was really excited to finally meet her. She lived up to every bit of the hype. It's nice to have representation in these spaces. I took her Reformer Flow 1.5 class and it was challenging in the best way. Her 90s R&B playlist kept me motivated the entire time. She has such a sweet, welcoming personality and makes everyone feel supported. Her energy is calming, and I left feeling more grounded and in a much better mood. The studio itself is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, and very well organized, which makes the experience even better. I plan on booking 1:1 private sessions with her in the future. I did get a little lost finding the location at first. It is directly next to M.L. Rose, and there is free two-hour parking available, which was a plus. If you're thinking about taking her class, just do it.
