I was visiting family in Roseville and dropped in several times. I found the coaches knowledgeable, helpful, warm and genuinely caring for the athletes, to include me. There is a lot packed into their hour. But we managed to get done on time each day. My hamstrings are sore right now from one of the workouts. I found the space clean and the equipment well maintained. I started in the original CrossFit in 2002 and have been to several gyms through the years. I found this to be a first rate place and would not hesitate to drop in again in the future. read more

The people are incredible, the box is very spacious and clean and the coaches are great friends. Addicted. My favorite coach is Justin. Always makes it fun. The other members are very welcoming and supportive. I call them my CrossFit Family. I've made a lot of friends after joining CF. Just moved to Roseville in Sept and so glad I didn't join Crunch, CalFit or Fitness 19. It's a personal trainer everyday. They have morning classes and night classes and they have a daycare at 9am M-F. Coaches give you special attention to make sure you're focused and doing the WOD's right. It's always a different workout, we never get bored. This is the place if you want to see results. read more

I've been at Crossfit Roseville for 7 years now. Love the Sweat Sessions! This is the place where I push myself the most and get a great workout! I've been to other gyms and do a workout but I don't come out super sweaty and happy that I accomplished a great workout! I have been attending Crossfit Roseville for about a year now. The WOD (Workouts) are challenging and coaches help all members to improve form and performance, prevent injuries and encourage you do more than you ever thought you could. I have gone from feeling awkward with the barbell (especially overhead squats) to doing kipping pullups and although Im not where I want to be, I believe that Crossfit Roseville will help me to get there! I appreciate the wide availability of classes through the day and on weekends and appreciate warm-ups, strength, flexibility, and mobility training as well. Ok... this is the love of my life.... working out. When I started, I couldn't do a pull up without Big Blue Band. Now I can do 4. When I started, I nursed injuries and they scaled the workouts. As I got stronger, the feeling of empowerment was amazing. As I've suffered an injury, I've been supported by my other family (Crossfit Roseville is one big family). We simply love our gym and we love that our kids see us workout daily. We love our saturdays of Crossfit and Coffee (or diet soda for Mr.). If you've EVER thought about doing Crossfit, don't be afraid.... be afraid of the lost opportunity of never trying it. One of my dear friends at the gym is dealing with something horrible ... My employer will pay for my membership at 5 different local gyms. Crossfit isn't on the list, but paying for my membership is absolutely worth it. I've been to every gym in town. Cheap gyms, expensive gyms, crowded gyms, gyms with childcare and jacuzzis and estheticians and on and on...... After all that I can say this is THE BEST place to workout! Whatever your fitness goals may be this is the place to achieve them. The staff is awesome, my fellow CF'ers are wonderful, the atmosphere is encouraging and there is a great sense of community. You will sweat as much or more than you ever have before, you will lift weights and you will want to give up a dozen times in a workout, but you won't. This place is great for many reasons. 1.Trainers push you to your limits to help achieve your end result. 2.Everyone is motivating from the staff to the people working out there. 3.Everyday it is something new to push your abilities above and beyond what you thought was possible. 4.They are right next door to my company:). Rene has achieved the impossible in helping me get to the fitness level I enjoy today! I started my private lessons with Rene having absolutely no fitness experience, no natural athletic ability, and spotty motivation. My "fitness regimen" entailed playing tennis a few times a year and going on walks. My endurance was so low I'd get winded just going up a flight of stairs or playing with my dog. I couldn't do a sit-up, I couldn't do a push up, I didn't know how to do a squat, I could barely run more than a block, and knew absolutely nothing about health and fitness. Fast forward a year and a half, and it's a testament to Rene's genius session planning and motivational skills that I've never missed a weekly session, always end sessions in a good mood, now have visible muscles (what!?!), can do MANY reps of the skills I mentioned plus 2 minute plank holds, Crow Pose, dead lifts, sled pushes, reps with 15 pound weights, pull-ups, and many more, AND now have the confidence, strength, and balance to enjoy new sports like skiing, kayaking, yoga, and long-distance bike riding! I can't believe it myself, nor can my friends and family, who are the first to say that Rene has worked miracles and is "very talented" ;D I'll also add that Rene has never once made me feel embarrassed for struggling or huffing and puffing during a workout (still happens regularly), needing a break, or making a modification. She makes sure I'm challenged, but wants me to listen to my body. Her knowledge of gym safety and equipment handling is extensive (I've never once so much as stubbed my toe in a session), as is her knowledge of physiology- she explains how movements target certain muscle groups and why certain areas may be sore after a workout. All that to say, don't hesitate to work out with Rene if you're a beginner or feel intimidated by the "Crossfit" label... Rene's patience will keep you motivated and her programing will get you results! read more

Very rarely am I this excited to leave a yelp review! I can't say enough good things about my experience so far with CrossFit Roseville. Over the last three years I lost 130 pounds through nutrition. Once I lost the weight I started becoming more and more motivated to actually do some physical activity associated with my new and healthier lifestyle. I did not have a background in any sort of exercise and when I joined a gym I found myself completely lost. After several months of struggling to find a way forward in the gym and not really having any sort of meaningful connection with anybody at the gym, I decided to give CrossFit a chance. My neighbor mentioned he had been a member of CrossFit Roseville and had a good experience. I checked out CrossFit Roseville and met with Jesse the owner for some more information. Jesse was super informational and I felt very encouraged to try out this whole CrossFit thing. Because I had never done anything like CrossFit before I did take the personal training "on ramp" offer they have to teach me some of the basic skills to be able to successfully work in the group sessions. I found my personal training sessions to be extremely beneficial and I truly loved that so many of the members of CrossFit Roseville came and greeted me and encouraged me so when I transitioned over to the group I already felt a strong connection with several people. Michelle, Jesse, are phenomenal coaches and trainers and I met some amazing members as well like Mark and Bella who have been nothing but encouraging and informational helping me along the way. I highly recommend CrossFit Roseville for those who are just starting out or for the super experienced. The average member there has been there for 4 to 5 years or more and there's a vast amount of knowledge and encouragement to found. Looking forward to my next work out tomorrow! I really appreciated the coaching I received in the beginning when every workout was full of new and unfamiliar movements. As I have progressed my skills I continue to receive valuable feedback every time I show up.
