I knew after the first day that this was the gym for me, so I disregarded the remaining 6 days on my trial and signed up for a full membership. This was one of the best decisions I have made. Raw Fit has created an environment which welcomes people of all fitness levels, shapes, and sizes. They create workout plans which enable all members to achieve their fitness goals. They do all of this with avoiding gimmicks, not selling you on diet fads or supplements, or any other "get fit quick" schemes. Basically they show you if you put in the work and eat a sensible diet, you will see the results. That's it. At this gym, no one judges. Everyone encourages each other to do their best and get better each day. Because of the mixture of great trainers and great members, this is the first time in my life where I look forward to going to the gym each day. Truly a life changing experience. Is this the right gym for you? I don't know. If you go to the gym to be seen, show off your new workout clothes, chat and gossip, look at yourself in the mirror, etc...this may not be the gym for you. Everything feels smooth, controlled, and dialed in. If something breaks, it's fixed promptly. There's also equipment there I've never seen before until now that really comes in clutch when you want to train a movement a certain way. We decided not to join the program, and I immediately called to ensure everything was clear. The staff member I spoke with explicitly assured me that the trial was canceled and that we would not be charged. Trusting their word was a huge mistake. It turns out they signed me up for a full gym membership anyway. For the last six months, they have been secretly charging my account. When I discovered the charges and called to resolve it, the nightmare only got worse: "Not our problem" attitude: They refused to refund the six months of fraudulent charges because the employee who told me it was canceled has since been fired. Blaming the customer: The manager, Scott, told me he would look at camera footage to verify what happened. When he called back, he claimed there was "no record of anything" and essentially shifted the blame onto me for their former employee's fraudulent actions. It is completely unacceptable for a business to pocket hundreds of dollars from a family due to their own employee's fraud/mistake and then use "that person doesn't work here anymore" as an excuse to deny a refund. Scott and the upper management refuse to take accountability for their staff. Check your statements closely if you step foot in this place. They will happily take your money, lie about cancellations, and blame you for it later. Avoid this place and their academy at all costs.

There were 2 flat benches, 3 inclines (one of which could not be adjusted due to missing knob) and one seated bench which was missing the seat. I waited 25 minutes for a bench and never did get one. There was almost 2 rows of missing weights 20-35 lbs I believe and as there were only 4 people using the weights, not sure what to think. For $40 (my fully equipped club charges $25 day pass as does the fully equipped 24 hr fitness nearby I expected a more fully equipped gym. There were a lot of cardio and fitness machines if that's what you are looking for but if you are looking for a free weight fitness program, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I mentioned the broken benches and missing weights to the front desk and he is "going to let the fitness director know" - shouldn't they already know? Anyway spent too much money and didn't really get a decent workout. Just spoke with club ambassador Rocco - he reached out regarding my experience. He explained that I was there during their busy time and they are repairing the benches and will be expanding their free weights areas in the near future. Felt better that I was heard and the club was already working on a solution.
