If you're looking for a CrossFit gym in San Jose, you need to come here! By far the best gym I have been to. Most supportive community and the energy level is out of this world. Workouts of the day are for every level. Make it easy or as difficult as you want. Don't have to hit the gas on everything, unless you really want to as you'll see in some classes LOL Area is very clean, mop sweep, wipe down equipment, vacuum. Everyone gets their own box to workout in with weights and a rig(Covid protocol that worked out well) What I love most about this gym are the people. So many different personalities with a very inviting vibe. Most importantly the gym has amazing coaches. You have 3 of them and they're pretty much there all the time. They listen and will help you achieve your goals. They have a CrossFit pretty much everyday, an open gym area, barbell club for Olympic Weightlifting, and a Olympic weightlifting class that's held 3 days a week. I'm very happy that my wife and I came here cause definitely would have FOMO. Come by and try out a class. Chat it up with some people and make fun of each other. Lift some weights and have fun. Don't worry about your fitness level, we all started somewhere. Just gotta make the move and come through!

Dropped in to get a weightlifting workout in while I was in San Jose for work. This place is AWESOME. Blane, one of the co-owners, was great. Made me feel right at home, didn't mind at all that I wanted to do a workout based on my own programming instead of doing the stuff the rest of their weightlifting class was doing. Also, they seem to really care about Olympic weightlifting - which isn't always the case at all Crossfit gyms. American Barbell bars, newish Rogue KG plates and change plates, and THEYRE BUILDING 10 Olympic weightlifting platforms! I didn't get to use any because they're currently in the process of constructing them, but hey, that speaks to their commitment to the sport. For the CrossFit crowd, they have the regular lineup of equipment: rigs, airdynes, rowers, all the things. Plus, also notable: I dropped in on a SUNDAY. They have Sunday classes for both CF and weightlifting. Oh, and very kid-friendly. There was a kids area in the front and several little kids hanging out while their parents were WODing. The other people in the gym were really friendly too. If I ever have to move to SJ, this is the gym I'm buying a membership at. No brainer. Highly recommend.

Joined CrossFit Myo a few months back I have been weightlifting for a few years but never CrossFit. The coaches ( coach blane, coach Taylor, and coach Eric) at this box have made my experience amazing. They push their members based on their current capabilities and encourage them to go heavier or harder but maintain good form. (Going heavy isn't an excuse for bad form they will let you know that) They all help when it comes to corrections or feedback during your workouts. But they always push you to give your best. The box is super clean spacious. There is lots of parking and in a great easy to get to location. The people that go to this box are amazing also. I'm just now starting to break my cocoon and have started to talk to a few of the other members more but since the beginning they were all so welcoming. I was just a little on the shy side. I don't see myself going to any other box. (Truth be told I haven't even been to 24hr fitness in almost a month CrossFit Myo is where I want to be)

CrossFit Myo has been my gym for the past 8 years. I became a member shortly after they opened. They have taught me so much about fitness. I learned great form and built skills I would of not been able to do alone. Joining CrossFit Myo is like having a personal trainer without paying the full price of one. They know what they are doing, they scale your workouts to your level and you feel stronger everyday. You can be a beginner or a veteran to CrossFit and they will adjust the workouts for you. All three coaches have made a HUGE impact on my fitness life and I will forever be thankful. Definitely try them out!

A PT suggested I do strength training (nothing was really wrong, I was just weak), but I was worried about hurting my back further by doing things wrong. So I looked for a place with instruction and coaching, and found FIIT60. Mike has been such an incredible help! The first few months I needed a LOT of guidance and suggestions, but he was always there to correct my form an explain things clearly so I wouldn't hurt myself. Starting as a complete beginner was really daunting, but over time things became easier and I not only did I feel stronger, but my back hurt less, and I had more energy in general. I started attending more classes and after nearly a year I felt completely different from before. I'm still improving and learning because Mike knows how to increase the difficulty and make modifications for people of different skill levels. I've got long terms goals I want to hit, and I feel like I'm moving toward them! The mood in the classes is great too, in addition to the health benefits (which are many!), it's just a nice expereince and I look forward to going to class. Everyone there is really supportive and friendly, and Mike maintains an upbeat and positive environment. It's a very family friendly place too, you will spot the occasional kid chilling in the corner or even a baby in their stroller. I cannot recommend this place enough! If you're a beginner like I am then you're in good hands. And if you have more expereince, then there's plenty of room to grow here.

I basically come to use the weight machines and then I use the treadmill. My only complaint in that regard is that half of the treadmills don't have the heart rate sensor working. Very frustrating. Lucky for me, I have an Apple Watch and can check that out on my own later on. My other big complaint is what they have on the tvs. Look, most of us come there to workout which is part of stress relief. I'm on the treadmill, have my music playing in my ears and then I am forced to stare at all of the tvs that have the news on the screens. For those 30 minutes or so, I DO NOT want to stare on the friggin news! It could be so much nicer if they had something relaxing and calming like a nature scene. I can't believe that most people want to look at the news right now. We see enough of it and our brains need a break. Anyway, besides those two issues, I am very happy with Planet Fitness.
